It’s on the main (pedestrian) street and the noise from people was bad. It’s supposed to be a quiet city from 11.30pm but we had people screeching outside our hotel room - on the street, not in the hotel- until 3am

This is a beautiful, very small hotel. The rooms are spacious, super clean and the location is as central as you can get

Absolutely nothing. It was just what we wanted and needed.

Perfectly located in the heart of the old town. The owner is a female who really does think of all the guests needs - I have never seen straighteners available in every room before. We really felt we were at home rather than in a hotel as the staff were so discrete and didn’t see or hear another resident. If ever in Dubrovnik again I will definitely stay there again.

The location was perfect! Even though we were warned that it might be a bit noisy being on the Stradum, we didn’t hear any noise at night. So glad we chose Bota Palace

Though I enjoyed my breakfasts each morning, (I had omelette twice which was delicious and tried the French toast and oatmeal which was nice) there were only 4 options and very continental choices. The bread that was used for the toast and cheese and ham toast option which my husband tried, wasn’t great. It didn’t come with a hot drink though there were tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Loved that it was right in the heart of the city walls which was so different and was full of atmosphere. The hotel wasn’t too far from pile gate which meant only a very short walk to hotel. We loved our breakfast in bed, this felt like a treat every morning. We stayed in the Spalato room which was spacious, modern with a traditional feel too with shutters which opened out onto the main placa. The windows were triple glazed to keep the noise out. It was very clean and the products in the bathroom were high quality.

There is a bit of street noise given its location on the main walkway, but it did not detract from the stay. Signage not obvious due to old town location (look for the double green doors).

Clean, beautiful, and well located in the heart of old town. Excellent breakfast delivered to the door, wonderful host. Communication was excellent and many restaurants and main attractions just steps outside the door. Fabulous stay! A stunningly beautiful room. Easy access from Pile gate.

The air conditioning wasn't as powerful as needed given the hot weather. Also, the curtains cover the air conditioning so in order to have appropriate air, we needed to leave the curtains open. Luckily, the window shutters did block the outside light.

Everything about our stay at Bota Palace was perfect. The location is central within the old city, just a few minutes walk from the wall so you are not carrying your luggage too far. The host was communicative before our arrival, to ensure they were present to check us in. She was very friendly and super helpful! Our room was absolutely beautiful and impressive. The design of Bota Palace was classy and modern; in the bathroom, they provided hair tools such as blow dryer and even a straightening iron. The daily breakfast was delicious. We had an early check-out which the host allowed us to have self-service; however, she prepared bagged breakfast so we could take to-go. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The surroundings in the oldtown are very noisy with people celebrating the whole night. To be able to sleep you need to wear earplugs.

Room was beautiful, comfortable size, triple glaze on the windows made it quiet. Easy access to old town, room have us relief from the heat in the middle of Europe summer. Carla was wonderful and helpful.

For my wife and I. We found everything was well in order.

My wife and I loved every single thing about Bota Palace. The location which is inside the walled city is just perfect. You step outside the Bota Palace entrance and you are in the center of everything. The check-in with Karla was fast and efficient. She took the time to explain the lodging details and where we may want to explore in and around the city. Breakfast was served every morning and was very tasty. They even give you a menu, so you have options to choose from or your choice. The room we had was very, very, nice and had cool decor that made you feel like just sleeping in each day. Karla also arranged out check out to occur later in the day to accommodate our later departure time to the local airport. Kudos to Karla and staff who were all very pleasant and professional. We are going to stay again on our next visit.
