At the reception desk there where pictures of isr@eli hostages which I think is a weird choice to put. I wish the showers had different doors cause it was quite difficult to get out of the shower and not flash everybody in the bathroom. The cardboard wall in the room didn’t block noise that much. Location is also a bit far from the old town but you can take a small boat there so it wasn’t that bad.

I really loved my stay here, especially the outdoor area. You could really connect, chat and meet people from the hostel. The kitchen space was also a plus, although I would add a bit more cutlery. The beds were quite comfortable, everyone had a small light and a socket to charge your phone. Also for every bed there was a drawer for all your baggage (you have to have your own lock). Overall I think it was great and the staff is very friendly.

I arrived at Backpackers home without expecting much, I found a really nice hostel and met many new people, I really had a pleasant stay! Staff was nice and friendly and very helpful, they are strict in their rules but that helps maintain the Hostel in a good state.

the many places that they had to hang out which made it very easy to meet new people. the kitchen was also great and clean all the time. they also have 2 guitars that can only up the vibe in the hostel. overall if you wanna meet people and stay for great value, backpackers home is the place to be!!!

the hostel is one of the most chilled places ive been to. the staff were the best special shout out to daphne - all the staff work super hard to make the stay as comfortable as possible - i would suggest to be mindful kind and respectful after the quiet time as staff sleep on site on their shift - on the whole everyone during my stay did respect the other guests who had to sleep a bit earlier than the rest of the guests. large kitchen space and frdges - no freezer but i guess with so many guests it could be difficult -I would recommend a small freezer with a note for guests that they would only be able to have a couple of items each -there were heaps of little spots to hang out and large areas to sit and mingle with other people staying at the hostel - waslking distance to the old town and other spots of interest and close to bus networks . i preferred the area of the hostel rather than being right in the old town - theres facilties such as a shop and bakery and even a place to grab things you may have forget or need like towels gifts sea shoes etc as well . felt super safe wondering around whatever time of day or night as a lone female traveller. would definately recommend staying here .oh and i would recommend a few more drying racks or even a line could enhance the drying area even more -

I found the Christian art and Bible quotes on the walls at a "backpacker hostel" a little bit strange. There was also Israeli posters of the hostages at the reception area. Nothing wrong with that, just found a bit strange as well for it to be the first thing you see as you go in for check-in. These two things made me feel rather uncomfortable and slightly unwelcome. Also not my first hand experience, but the replies from the staff to critical comments on Google are extremely immature and unprofessional; I probably wouldn't have booked this hostel if I saw them before.

Overall, it's a nice hostel, especially the outdoor areas. I actually liked the location and the fact that it was not in the old town; you can feel like a local in the neighborhood and go for a swim only 5-10 minute walk from the hostel. Not much to complain about the room or the beds either. The toilets and showers were okay for me as well.

I loved that the rooms had A/C and were able to be locked. Each bunk came with a locker. The environment was very friendly. The property was in a perfect location.

Not very close to the city center, but not far either. This can also be a good thing, as the hostel is close to a few good beaches that are calm and quiet.

Comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, good bathroom, comfortable common areas, and lots of guests. You can easily make friends and meet new people.

The bed wasn't komfortabel at all. It hat like a hole in the middle which always sucked me in. I guess it was really old, but I don't know how the rest of the beds were.

The personal was amazing! The social areas where more than enough to choose from. There were many free items to eat and drinks, which wasn't expected and I even enjoy from them, thanks! Klimaanlage worked, with electricity right next to the bed.

Super good vibes for a solo traveller, the kitchen is superb and a great place to just hang out and meet fellow travelers. Bus from the central station is easy, just look up the Zadar number 5 and 8 public busses.

Pillows were a little flat.

Hostel had a very nice vibe, staff were all super friendly, especially Daphne. Beds were comfy, showers and toilets were always clean. Staff did the best to keep the kitchen as clean as possible every night. Location was great, there were both a supermarket and pharmacy next door. Parking was super easy and the bus stop was near. Had a lot of freebies to take which were helpful.
