Amazing location with easy access into town via bus right outside hotel. Great facilities with beautiful sea views and lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. It’s a bit on the pricey side but value for money when you consider the facilities and how well you’re looked after. And it is 5 star after all.

Location was amazing by the water. Bus line was 3 min walk from hotel supper convenient and inexpensive easy to get to attractions using bus line. Hotel staff amazing. Helped used book excursions and navigate best way to get to our next destination

We’ve been coming to the Royal Hotel Group for a few years now. Usually everything is fine, that’s why we’ve been coming back. This time it was very disappointing that there were no sunbeds at the sea. For us who always prefer the sea to the pool that was a big deal. It meant all the pools & other areas were overcrowded. The hotel said the government changed the rules & they had to get a license first, which should be soon. I wonder if this could have not been sorted before the season started. We didn’t let it spoil our holiday but it was a bit of a let- down. The shower is very slippery. I nearly fell once. They should really have shower mats & handle were you can hold on in them. The breakfast buffet is chaotic. Last year it was a bit better organised, better looked after & food &drink was always replenished as soon as it was gone. I’d say as so often these days the reason for that is lack of staff. We got room service once. It was delivered swiftly and it was alright, but food in general is definitely not 5 stars.

Loved everything about the hotel. We were upgraded to the Royal Princess into an ocean front suite which was incredible. Rooms were huge with large balconies and 2 bathrooms. Facilities in the 5 hotels are available for use. Very large scale but absolute ocean front location. Swimming in pools and ocean can't be beaten. Excellent breakfast and nice to be out of the crowds of the old town.

We don’t love how the beds were separated, and one of the decorative pillows was dirty. The bed was worn and showed signs of wear and tear, but everything else was very clean.

-cleaningness in the spa has to improve -sauna - the wood has not been cleaned once, also getting water is not regular, no refill of body lotion for two days -we were not given room with king size even asked for in advance, other room had twin beds put together, we were asked to adjust it ourselves - no sunbeds, umbrellas by the sea, even in days when the weather was nice, which is a pity -not enough umbrellas by the pools, no one to ask

+location +mattress comfy, u can block out the sunlight competely and sleep +breakfast with enough choice +possible to take long walks by the shore +many pools so everyone can find what suits them

The gym manager, Danijela was extremely accommodating and kindly opened the gym earlier so I could exercise before trips, this was really appreciated and one of the reasons we decided to stay at the property. Staff were also very friendly, breakfast was excellent and rooms spacious and clean. A fantastic visit, thank you!

Spotless and large, comfortable room. Paid for a sea view which we enjoyed and they let us check out an hour later which was much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent and drinks and food were quite expensive, but not more so than other quality places in the area.

Can't think of anything that I didn't like!

Breakfast was included and in addition to the buffet there were lots of breads, pastries and fruit. Also great coffee! My room was very spacious and included a balcony with a lovely view of the mountains. After a day of touring we would sit off at the bar near the ocean - sometimes just for drinks and occasionally we would have a light meal. We ate dinner in the dining room once and the meal was very good!

We really enjoyed our stay at Royal Ariston for our honeymoon. All the facilities were great, and we made the most of all the spa areas. The room was very comfortable and staff were really helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff and the location far away (in a positive sense) from the Dubrovnik crowds but with comfortable access to the Old City (frequent bus line 6 just next door) I loved my very comfortable room with its magnificent view. Would love to come back

No pool service (food or drink) you have to go to the bar near the pool (drinks only) or to the restaurant and a casual cafe for food which is in a separate building across a public walkway. For the less active be warned there is lots of steps / stairs and for the sun worshiper’s only a few quality sun loungers (padded base) I counted ten. Breakfast is just a free for all…..find a table and drink watered down orange juice / cordial (no menu option just a buffet and very standard). I get the impression that it’s geared for the three month holiday season and outside of the season it’s a very nice room with a very nice view and that’s it. Ps - the hotel is very clean

Breakfast buffet very plentiful choices with option to eat outdoors. Lovely views of ocean. Easy and fastbto get Ubers to town 5 to 8 EUs.

Perfect location for a week combining relaxation and visiting 'downtown' Dubrovnik. Booked room with balcony and sea- view and were mesmerized every day again by the view !. Very well maintained and clean hotel !Friendly and service-minded staff !
