I loved the location because it was so close to Pile Gate...There are many many stairs in Dubrovnik..This eliminated that whole issue. You did have to take your luggage (in my case just one flight...) to the apartment but very manageable.

The bed was not that much comfy, it was a bit squeaky.

The location is just perfect: we parked the car quite faraway from the city center (due to the insane parking costs close to the old town) and used the bus to get to the Pile station (entry into the old town). To get to the property from the Pile station, it takes some 3 minutes walking, no need to go up the hill or similar. The room looks awesome - the stone walls inside, the wooden ceiling, the matching lamps, the wooden window shades. Wonderful. Facilities - toilet and shower were modern and clean.

There seemed to be in floor heat on in the bathroom and I didn’t know how to turn it off (I should’ve just asked) but unnecessary in June. Some additional shelving in the bathroom would be nice. And a blanket that gets washed or has a duvet instead of just a sheet plus a blanket from the closet that gets reused. Really clean place though.

Very nice location close to everything but down a quiet back street. Easy access to Pile gate. Host sent all the checkin information ahead and allowed us to store our luggage. There were a bit of stairs in the building depending on your room, but not terrible. The room was a good size and bed comfortable. Shower was hot with great pressure. AC works (but not super strong).

Bed was uncomfortable, the mattress is either old or not a good one. Place is very small, I would not recommend if there is more than 2 people. Under the bed it was very dirty/dusty.

Location is fantastic, right by pile’s gate. The host sent info about directions, keys, wifi, etc.

The apartment is located in the heart of the city in a quiet corner of all the little allys crossing the city. Very clean place and cosy interior. Ideal as a nice base camp when escaping the crowds in high season. Will always come back

Only nit-picking but the hairdryer was weak. I saw it in the photos beforehand so I brought my own and it wasn't an issue.

Couldn't ask for a more convenient location, located right inside the old town gate. Very easy to pop back to throughout the day. We went sea kayaking and I was very grateful to have a 2 min walk to our accommodation rather than a bus out of the town to other accomm we had considered. The hosts were very gracious after I had card trouble so thanks for being so understanding! Good powerful shower too.

Hey, I know my hotel rooms in Europe will be small. After 30 years of marriage, sharing a full/double mattress is not a vacation. The value was so good, we got two rooms, this worked out great! Heat/AC worked great as well.

Code to enter property with keys waiting in room. Communicated with owner once by phone, but needed nothing during the stay. Good communication before arrival re: walking directions for Pile Gate, door code, etc. Arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport.

Excellent location just steps away from the Pile gate, and in a quiet alley Clean room The host has a shop nearby where we could drop our suitcases on the last day so we were free to explore without them
