The apartment could do with an update, but this can be said for most of the accomodation on Mljet

The main bedroom had air conditioning, but the smaller room where our kids slept only had a fan, which wasn't sufficient as the apartment was on the top floor and was very hot. The private access to the water could definitely be improved with proper sun umbrellas and more deck chairs. It feels a bit neglected and could otherwise be a wonderful space for guests. Would be good to upgrade the kitchen utensils.

Absolutely amazing view from the balcony, it litterally took my breath away! Our host was really friendly and generous with her time. She made us feel very welcome and was very accommodating to make our stay as pleasant as possible - 5 starts to Jadranka. We loved the location in the chilled village of Sobra.

Couple of minor maintenance fixes would have improved the stay. Bathroom door didn’t close well. No light in the hallway. Couple of suggestions would be bigger towels. We only had four small towels and a bin in the bedroom too would have been handy. All minor though, nothing that can’t be fixed and it didn’t ruin our stay

Shower was often cold and sharing fridge with other guests. Really couldn't avail of fridge as full with other guests food. But got over that and had a great stay.

The owner through the phone speaks perfectly English, but the property manager on site (a lady) speaks barely english, we managed to communicate, mixing German, Polish and Croatian. I got instantly bitten three times by these famous mosquitos, You better close the windows and check the interior. The bathroom/toilet is kind of old-fashioned and needs some investments. The window view of our room (the cheapest one) is terrible, just on the gap between buildings, with some trash in it. You step into the room from the shared square-shaped hall, so You hear every guest returning from the outdoor activity (mostly this lady manager, who is living there :)). I know it's cheap (60€), but still one has to work on some details.

The location is excellent, just by the coast and the ferry, decent place to start the trip to the national park from. Quick check-in, big private parking lot. I think they learned the lesson based on the previous Booking comments - there is AC working in the room and the fridge/kettle/basic kitchen utensils in the shared hall, also a clothes dryer outside.

Unfortunately I was badly affected by the mosquitoes which had gone crazy after a huge thunderstorm 3 days before. There's a large sunken area right below the stairwell that was full of stagnant water. Breeding ground heaven to these evil critters. I was bitten so badly I had a allergic reaction and felt ill for the first 3 days. When I asked for spray for the room, was told ' mosquitoes and spiders are harmless '. Not the reaction you expect from a hotel owner who knows fine well how awful mosquitoes are. Never got any spray in 10 days. Sheet and towels changed once. Floor never swept, rubbish never removed. It was a total tip when I left. They did give me a repellent plug- in after 2 days, but these things are largely useless and I kept getting bitten until the stagnant water dried up and the numbers went down. They really need to address that sunken area where stagnant water accumulates. Bed is very low and quite hard. The advertised restaurant is long since closed down. The private beach area is a concrete slab with 2 loungers and very slippery rocky entry to the water.

Location right on the bay with spectacular view from the balcony. Spacious room with communal lounge area with fridge and kettle. Large balcony with table and chairs. Good Aircon and constant hot water.

I had no phone signal in the room (but wi-fi was relatively good). My room was located in the back part of the house with a view to the near neighboring house, what is maybe the reason why the network was unavailable.

A kettle for tea and coffee making would have been nice. Only handtowels- a bath towel would also be good. Sobra is lovely but yo do need a car to get around.

We were a little sad the Restaurant was closed, but since we had a refridgerator and dishes we could easily prepare food. Since it was really hot there was mostly no need to cook anyway.

The simpleness of accomodation, as well as the silence and beautiful view on the bay and landscape. The hosts were super nice and it felt like staying at relatives one didn't get to know yet - quite familiar and respectful. Since there are not too many people around, it's not very touristic and one can relax more or less by oneself on the private terace next to the sea of the Villa.

We thought we were getting a room with a balcony view. In fact the room had no view or balcony. It was a basic room but for the price it was good value for money.

Stunning location in a quiet town, close to nice bars / restaurants with very friendly staff and good food. The swimming place along the cliff edge was a great experience. Our host welcomed us with a welcome beer and piece of cake, which we drank in the shaded area of their small bar.

A lot of dust and dirt everywhere at the apartment. Mostly under the bed. Bathroom was very tiny with equipmemt from 80’s. Small fridge is shared in the hall with other apartments. You go to your apartment through shared entrance and hall with other guests so you have a lack of privacy. If you don’t want to ruin your holiday, go find another apartments with better reviews. We were lucky we spend here just 2 days.
