Beautiful location and wonderful hosts. The breakfast with everything made there on location was wonderful. Hope to return and stay for a few days in the future when we have more time.

Everything! We made a last minute reservation and surprised the host, but she was lovely and welcoming, gave us a bottle of homemade wine and a lot of cheese to have while we were waiting for the room. The area is lovely. We loved the view and tranquility and we highly recommend it! The breakfast was great with lots of self made marmalades, cheese, butter and lots of other stuff. It was a great stay!

Apartment Borovac is in a stunning location, perched on the hill that leads to the fortress of Vrgorac. Best views of the city are from there. Hosts were superfriendly, attentive and helpful and made us feel very comfortable and welcome from day 1. Breakfast is included and was extraordinary and hearty. Everything was homemade and produced by our lovely hosts. All in all, it was a very comfortable and great stay. Would definitely recommend!

Easier to arrive in day light. You travel up the hill toward the fortress to get there. We were a little worried in the dark, but the owner came out. Drive toward the light.

Very much in the country. A small working farm with homemade wine provided at check in. All food made on farm: Home made bread, jams, honey, eggs, meats, and cheeses, along with lavender tea and coffee. Charming!

The breakfast is like nothing else we have ever experienced. Delicious fresh food produced and made right at the premise. As a local person said to us, Apartment Borovac is how Croatian tourism is meant to be.

The apartment was modern and tastefully decorated inside. The bathroom was clean with modern facilities. The kitchenette was good and had everything you need. The bed was comfortable. The bottle of wine and yummy fresh figs that were waiting for us when we arrived was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was the best I've had and all produced from her property. An amazing place and the hosts are friendly and very welcoming. Vrgorac might not be a tourist hotspot but it's well worth a visit and has an interesting connection to N.Z.

Modern, well-equipped apartment with a very comfortable outside, covered patio and lovely views. The homemade wine was excellent!

What a beautiful spot. Had our own bedroom living room, shower room and balcony with fabulous views. Lovely lady runs it and for breakfast she produced about 7 different jams all of which she’d made! She also gave us a bottle of her surprisingly good red wine. Short walk in to the village. Highly recommended

Great hospitality. Warm and friendly welcome on arrival as well as through the whole stay. Owners are communicative, friendly and helpful. Peaceful and quiet location on the edge of the small town, but within walking distance to shops and cafes. Location is at the bottom of the castle with 10m walking trail there. Spectacular view on the town and surrendings from the terrace. Home-made products served for the breakfast.

Everything was perfect

Very nice place beside an old castle on top of the hill. The host were so kind and took time to speek with us. They coocked traditional meal and let us try their own made liquors and other marmelades.

Couldn't define anything wrong. One thing maybe - as we tried to get to the apartment at night it would be really helpful to put one more information sign where to turn exactly, we were supported with native guy where to turn etc.

Outstanding hospitality ! Very nice lady invited our family with their own made cold wine and cold juice for kids which was really great after hot summer driving through the day. Breakfast ? Really amazing, totally ecological with owner made ingredients with a herbs tea (gathered in garden). We very there on a 1 night short stay but noticed already there are couple of interesting places to see nearby (plus Bosnia Herzegovina border is really close so another opportunities to see something there maybe)

We had some trouble locating the flat - if coming by car, carry on up the hill until you see a sign for the fortress on the right. Park beside the sign and the flat is on your left. Very small kitchen area - we didn't need to cook but think this could have been challenging!

We spent one night here to break the journey between Split and Dubrovnik. After a little difficulty locating the flat, the owner came and got us in his car. Very friendly owners, though very little English spoken. Lovely bottle of wine waiting for us. We ate in Restaurant Kula, which was very good. Lovely balcony with beautiful view of mountains. Excellent breakfast the following morning with lovely home made produce.
