Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyInternet only worked in the pool area. Some guests made basically a party until midnight one day, so that was annoying. Be prepared to drive a bit to see the great beaches.
Great apartment with plenty of space. Stone walls kept it cool. Air-conditioning also worked fine. The pool area was nice, and the olive trees and herbs made it all very charming. The kitchen was quite well equipped. The Milna town is nice and the beach is not bad for a short stay.

GermanyWe liked everything.
We loved the house, garden and pool. The apartment was clean and had all that was needed. AC in the living room wad sufficient to cool down the whole apartment. We had a shady terrace. Laundry was possible and linen and towels were changed upon request. Tea was a wonderful host. She also invited us to a small dinner and get together one evening. The beach was walking distance and wonderful for swimming, snorkeling and SUP boarding.

United KingdomThe kitchen could be better equipped. Having some cleaning equipment (brush, mop) for floors would also be useful.
The outdoor areas were superb- both the communal area round the pool which has plenty of room for more than one family, and lots of shade as well as sun, and also the private balcony with wisteria which was cooler and breezy in the hot weather. The apartment beds were comfortable, and the location is private but within easy walking distance of a pretty bay/beach in one direction (Osibova) and Milna in the other. Walking to Milna took us along beautiful stony lanes with amazing flowers and butterflies. We had access to tennis courts near Milna and table tennis at the property. Having air conditioning was also great as it was very hot including at night, though the apartment stayed reasonably cool during the day. Tea was very helpful and would put on a wash for us when we asked. We also had a great meal in Kapetanova restaurant in the olive groves about 5 mins walk up the road from the house. Climbed Vidova Gora (starting early to avoid heat) and visited Zlatni Rat beach- quite a long drive from Milna. Lots of good restaurants in Milna, (would recommend Fjaka), and a couple of small and reasonably pricy supermarkets.

United KingdomFire bbq cooking area shown in pictures is not available to guests and should not be shown on the website plus it needs some decent cutlery.
Beautiful gardens very relaxing outside space not overlooked in a quiet area.

United States of AmericaEverything!!! The whole property was beautiful...beautifull inside and outside. We we there only 1 night but would come back any time! The host was so warm and friendly. The location was a bit too far for those without a car but a short taxi ride from the town. The apartment was super cute with wonderful outdoor seating areas.

SloveniaVery cosy and beautiful place with incredible flora surrounding the house. It is absolutely gorgeous and the hosts are most genereous and kind. The house itself is quite isolated and the atmosphere is calm; however, shops and bakeries in Milna are only a couple of minutes away by car.

PolandYou need a car to get to the center of Milna. It's walking distance but not in the summer heat :)
The apartment is located in a beautiful yard with a pool, which was perfect for children. And a pebble beach is a mere 5-minute walk away from the apartment. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Czech RepublicWe were three families that rented two apartments (two and three bedrooms) for 10 nights - 6 adults and 4 children aged 7 - almost 10 years old. We had a wonderful time - the swimming pool was warm and available for children to play in even in the evening as darkness fell. There's table tennis available, outdoor tv, outdoor kitchen, gas barbeque, outdoor shower, sunbeds. The apartments were well equipped and comfortable, air-conditioning is available if necessary. The host and her family were awesome, kind, helpful and accommodating. The nearest beach was about 5 minutes walking distance. It was rocky so you need swimming shoes but that is standard in Croatia. It was clear, clean and quiet - finding a space to sit/lie down in the shade was absolutely no problem. (We walked to the more distant Plaza Lucica one morning and disliked it, so don't recommend going there.) Milna is a lovely small port town with restaurants, smaller shops and a bakery. There's a beach on the far end of the town called Plaza Rt Bijaka - it was also lovely and definitely worth visiting. We visited the famous Zlatni Rat beach in Bol twice during our stay. It was quite crowded but if you don't insist on being directly on the beach you can easily find shade. There's plenty of food options available there (pizza, burgers, fries, fruit, cocktails, pancakes etc.) and the beach is super photogenic with wind and hence high waves which the kids - and adults - loved :) We parked in two different spots on the two visits, the cheaper option at Beach Parking Mario (60 kuna) is walking distance so we'd recommend that rather than the slightly closer parking which costs 100 kuna. Overall we had a wonderful time and highly recommend the host as well as the apartments!

United KingdomThe accommodation is quite dated and the kitchen was not very well equipped ie no kettle and incredibly blunt kitchen knifes. Our main issue was the air conditioning which we were told had not worked for some time and there was no plan to get it fixed. Given the record breaking temperatures this year this made the place very uncomfortable to sleep in. When the place is advertised with A/C it is fair to expect it.
The location is just a short 12 minutes walk outside of Milna so it's great. The outside area is what makes this place, it is a lovely space.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaThe location is bad, the interior looks and is cheap in every way and poorly maintained. The owner is a complete reflection of the accommodation facility. Rude, aggressive and practically without a single skill to run tourism bussines. She does not understand that authentic behavior and retro style do not imply untidiness, eavesdropping on guests' conversations, furnishing the apartment with old and unusable furniture and appliances without any taste or style. Horribly.
Practically nothing
