Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Edita was extremely helpful, she even drove us to the ferry after learning about my wrist fracture. The welcoming beer on arrival was a really nice gesture. The washing machine was a real bonus for us.

United KingdomWe were disappointed not to have a kettle as this was included in the apartments facilities which meant boiling water from saucepans in the morning for a cuppa. The stairs were a bit steep however, to be expected in a property of this age and whilst we were a group of 3 more than 4 people or a rainy day it would be difficult to negotiate space in the communal areas.
Location was really good it was nice to be close enough to the centre for easy access but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. There are also supermarkets, bars and restaurants within a short distance and not too far from the beach.We had good communication with the host and the property largely had everything we needed with an added bonus of a nice refreshing cold drink on arrival. Also the outside space was really lovely both in the morning and evenings and enjoyed by us each day.

United StatesI wish a couple of laundry pods were provided so we could get right to washing! That was almost forgotten because of the WONDERFUL local bottle of wine left for us!
I was so glad we were not in the really crowded, noisy area. An easy walk into town and convenient grocery nearby. We are so grateful for the hostess's hospitality. She found and held a parking space for us nearby when we returned from our trip to the National Park. Parking in Split was SCARCE!

United KingdomWe struggled with check in and finding the room because we were not given a room number but after calling the host we made it. It was also dark and late which made it difficult.
The property was clean, comfy and had mostly everything we needed for one night and more. The room was spacious. The location was quiet and very close to the town centre. The host left drinks and sweets in the fridge for us. We also struggled with check in and happily picked up the phone at 23:30.

Francethere is a window in one of the rooms that does not have a protection for light. This window is exactly on top of the bed. The person that will take this room, will have a lot of light directly in their face very early in the day. Bring a sleeping mask. Quite hard to park the car around the flat.
all rooms have air conditioning. The check in and check out was very easy. The flat is very will equipped, the washing machine was very handy. The hostess prepared our welcoming. The flat is very close to the center. Very easy to get to split touristic area.
