Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

We found the apt using GPS. I learned the route quickly. I liked the peace and quiet, and enjoyed the music from the nearby music school. The outdoor patio covered by grapevines was relaxing and private. Everything was small but adequate. Close to the heart of old town and the Spanish Steps.

Great location in the City Walls. It was convenient, not too many steps when you figure out best route 😂 Had all that’s needed for a short break. Host was very informative, gave lots of tips and advice. Would highly recommend.

United KingdomPerfect base for exploring the beautiful old town - the terrace was a real bonus and the bed was super comfy. The host Robert was great and all the info clear and helpful - if you struggle with steps this might not be for you but that applies to Dubrovnik in general.

United KingdomThe apartment that we had upstairs was very small, I think I had misunderstood the pictures but it would be helpful to have this very clear on the site. It's adequate for two people for a couple of days if you really get on well. As others have mentioned the walls are very thin, we had an enthusiastic couple staying next door one night then a young family with a very loud baby the next night. The apartment is also next door to a music school with lots of practising going on all day. These are not faults of the apartment and it was an enjoyable stay but just things to consider.
Great location in central Dubrovnik, clean and tidy, good kitchen facilities to prepare small meals (which is important in Dubrovnik if you're not a millionaire and can't eat out all the time!). Nice courtyard to relax in. Really good communication with the owner.

AustraliaDue to it being an original and beautiful old building, (beautifully renovated) there is lack of natural light in the rear of the apartment. However the garden patio makes up for it.
Location was amazing, right in the heart of the old city. Especially loved the garden terrace- a lovely grape vine covered oasis. The communication with the owner was exceptional. Was nice to have a lock box for the key as we arrived very late. The kind gesture of bottle of wine was a nice surprise. Having a kitchenette to prepare some basic meals was convenient- especially during the bad weather. The stairs were not a problem as gradual, and there are steps all over Dobrovnik. Bed was very comfy.

Host Robert was great, gave me lots of information before I arrived on how to get to the property and collect the keys, with pictures included that were very helpful. Apartment was larger than I expected and had everything I needed (If you are fussy with your hair bring your own hairdryer!). Bed was huge and comfy. I saw another review mentioning the classical music, just to say you can't hear it in the bedroom and I thought it was lovely with my morning coffee. The terrace would be a lovely spot to cool off in the summer months. Robert even looked after my bags in another location after I checked out. I would stay here again.

CanadaWe liked everything about Leona Apartment.
This was an adorable little apartment, in old city Dubrovnik. It was stylish and clean and had all the necessities that you need to stay there. There was a little fridge and a little stove and a little table and a nice big bed. It it had an immediate wow factor when you opened the main door into the common area, super charming. When you go up to the apartment, it’s covered with grapevines and Concord grapes (my favorite) hanging there on your balcony! Old city Dubrovnik is absolutely amazing - it’s like I died and ended up on a Croatian postcard. The one tip I have is that when you get to old city in Dubrovnik and are using Google maps to find Leona Apartment, it wants to take you up a huge flight of steps that are straight up and if you have luggage which we did, it was quite a physical work out, luckily, another friendly tourist helped me carry my suitcase up. Once you know the lay of the land, you can almost do a switch back with the stairs which would’ve been much easier. I was really sad to leave Leona Apartment. I actually teared up on the way out. We were only there for a day and a half but we loved it. We did the kayaking trip and it was awesome. One thing that we did not like was the cable car cost, which was €56 for two people to go up and down in the cable car, which only took about 60 seconds. We found that to be a rip off and didn’t leave a desire to spend money to do the side-by-side trip up at the top of that hill. I would definitely take an Uber up because the view is amazing and either walk down or take the cable car down which is €15. The wall walk was amazing- but hot!!!

How close it is to the main square. It was spotless with nice bottles of shampoo etc in bathroom. Loads of towels. The shower is very good. The water and the little biscuits were a welcome addition on arrival. Great kitchen. Loads of lighting. Super close to all restaurants and cafes.. massive comfi bed.

IrelandThere’s nothing to dislike! :)
Absolutely LOVED our stay at Leona Apartments!! The Apartment is nestled down a quiet side street, but is less than a 5 minute walk to the main area of the Old Town. The space is small, but well equipped- perfect for a couple of nights. Communication was A1 from start to finish. Robert was always on hand if we needed anything. If (and when) I come to Dubrovnik I will definitely be staying here!! :)

There seems to be 3 apartments in the complex. 2 down and one upstairs. They all have a lovely terrace. Our apartment had everything you could want for a short stay. Perfect location. Short walk to everywhere in the old city. Would highly recommend it. The grapevines over hanging were my favourite part.
