We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

PhilippinesIt’s not a big turn off but just that there is no exhaust in the bathroom - bedroom connection. We understand the space and value of the area so it wasn’t really a big turnoff.
It was very close to a lot of the well known shops and other areas to look forward to in Tsim Sha Tsui. The host is responsive too.

Good little hostel in a convenient location. Near an M & S which was fab. Clean room with fridge and kettle in the corridor. The lady was very helpful in letting us know about the bus to and from the airport which saved us a lot of money and hassle. I would recommend staying here.

AustraliaNo negative comments, just cautions. I’m used to traffic noise, but bring earplugs if you’re not. The bathroom is a wet room, so just be prepared to wipe a couple of surfaces down after a shower (decent pressure btw). It’s like any hotel, so the quietness will be dependent on the other guests staying.
Can’t beat the location. Short walks to the train stations, bus stops, the harbour front, museums, shops and eateries. I was in room 5 with a double and there was just enough space to move around in, it was basic, but tidy and functional. There’s a small fridge and decent tv as well. In the hall, there’s a communal fridge and microwave with access to hot/cold water and some city info. The aircon set on ‘dry’ helped massively with the humidity.

JapanSince the location was right in the centre of the city, I could hear some people was screaming once in a while at night. But overall we felt it is quite safe to travel in Hong Kong city.
The location was so good. The access by a bus from the airport is excellent. You can just go walking to see around the most popular places in Hong Kong. The host is also kind and helpful in finding places to eat and give informations to go around the city.

United KingdomI had a panic when I went to get my bag before going to the airport and the passcode on the door had changed, and it took me 20 minutes to get hold of the owner - proactively sharing the new code would have ensured a smooth experience. Not a big issue as I did get in and get my bag but could have done without the stress.
The room felt secure, I appreciated the free drinking water in the hallway and the WiFi. There were little touches like pictures, a little shelf, and clothes hooks to help you organise your things and feel more at home. The bed was fairly comfy and I liked that the bedding was colourful rather than standard hotel white. I also liked that my luggage could be stored for the day after checking out. The price was high for what you are getting but I guess that is just Hong Kong. The location was very convenient for going to the museums and seeing the sights.
