Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsA kettle could be supplied for morning coffee, just with a few instant coffee packets and some milk capsules and sugar would be nice. The doors were squeaky but I put some detergent on the hinges to stop the squeaks.
Very handy to the airport. No coffee or kettle but you can get an expensive coffee at the cafe just before the airport, which is about 10-15 mins walk with bags. Quaint white buildings. Great sunset view from the terrace. Good value, low price.

ItalyNothing really. If I have to find something maybe the kitchen tools supply is a little bit limited and we couldn't find a small pot to warm up the milk, but im aware that not everyone needs it or need to cook when on holiday.
The villa is amazing, and the owners are exceptionally kind. They have arranged upon our request a free pick up from the port in the evening, which is rare in mykonos as most of the places charge you for this service or they help you arrange it but with a fee. We spent there just a few hours as we had an early flight the day after. Bed and pillows were comfy, and the room was spacious, with 2 sofas beside the double bed. The toilet is big and comfortable. The outdoor space is incredible and very well maintained. WiFi is working properly. Several restaurants are around and a minimarket as well. We walked to the airport in the morning (literally only 10'). It is not cheap, but if one considers Mykonos prices, this was a good deal.

The hosts supply a transfer from the ferry port for €5 Villa Vasilis is set in very peaceful countryside surroundings about a 10/15 minute walk from the beach & restaurants, there is no food available onsite. Clean quirky rooms with views to the sea from the small balcony Small but welcome pool area for cooling off The Villa also do their own hire car service

United KingdomWe had quite an ant issue which wasn’t very nice. The bathroom became quite wet after anyone used the shower, and then the room would become filled with ants. Some of the kitchen utensils were also quite dirty.
The location was great, we really liked how well connected we were to both paradise beach and Mykonos town. The beds were nice and clean and comfortable, we loved the outdoor area, and the people were very nice.

United KingdomThe property is well located near to the airport. There is a great restaurant nearby as well as a bank, bakery, small supermarket etc. It is also convenient for the bus stop to catch the bus into the centre of Mykonos town. The best thing about our stay was the friendliness of the owner. She was really helpful right from the time we booked the property. She arranged for us to be collected from the airport at no extra cost and also gave us a lift into town.

ItalyI would have appreciated more detailed cleaning of the kitchen stuffs. That made it unavailable.
Cheap compless of apartments 5 minutes walking from airport. The location is strategic because you can go anywhere and you have all you need: markets, bank, cafè, and rental car offices. The room was ok, tiny and with all amenities you may need, about the bed? So comfortable and soft, you can sleep as a child. Also I met Maria’s father that got us to airport with his car. Very good price for Mykonos stays!

United StatesNo real issues with the property. However, the buses do get packed and since the bus stop is mid-point between Paradise Beach and Town, there were numerous times the bus failed to stop because it was packed. This should not reflect on the hosts but just FYI.
Location: The location is literally walking distance from the airport. It is about mid-way from Mykonos Town to Paradise beach and the bus stops just in front of the Villa making it very convenient to take buses to various places. There are some nice restaurants near by and also a bakery and supermarket. APT: This is an older property but well maintained. It is a bit dated and rustic but it was functional and had everything we needed. There was good AC Host: Whatever deficiencies the property may have are made up by the excellent hosts. Maria and her husband Kostas are kind, warm, welcoming and very helpful. The fact that ferry or airport transportation is included is great. They are very responsive and generally just very nice people who treat you like family and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible
