Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomReception reponds quick,they are gentle and hospitable. We arrived at midnight and the front desk arranged for us to be picked up and left a check-in note. The room is clean and air-conditioned, and the bathroom has plenty of hot water. Very satisfied.

United KingdomThe hotel plumbing is quite loud and you have to be prepared to carry your cases up and down the stairs although the lady at the desk did help me.
The hotel is in a very handy place for the centre of town. It has a quirky layout, a covered outdoor pool and was spotlessly clean. The lady at the desk was lovely, recommended places to go and eat and arranged our taxi to the port.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. Overall, Villa Soula exceeded our expectations and contributed to a memorable vacation. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Santorini!

AustraliaThe shower was tiny and the shower curtain clung to me and ended up with a flooded bathroom floor. Tolerable for a couple of nights but probably not for an extended stay. If you're very tall, you will probably find the beds a bit short (cast-iron foot rail across the foot of bed).
The location in Fira is excellent, especially if you're travelling on a bit more of a budget. It is just around the corner from the public bus station which you can catch to Perissa, Oia, Kamari etc. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They will book taxi transfers to/from the port/airport if you ask and price not more expensive than if you book yourself. We were also able to leave our luggage with them after checkout and continue to use the pool and facilities until out transfers to the ferry (pool shower and toilet also available), which was very convenient.

United StatesThe shower is very tiny - like barely wider than the toilet so as a 5’9 American I could barely move in there without flooding the entire bathroom because the shower floor has barely any ledge, so water floods if you’re not careful.
It is super close walking distance to everything in Fira but removed enough to be quiet and peaceful. Very clean, super comfy bed, beautiful pool, a nice patio and the nicest staff! Seriously Maria is the sweetest lady and so is Antonia! The fridge has water bottles and there is coffee, tea and a kettle provided.

Italyif you really want to find a flaw, the size of the bathroom is a bit small, but still it has everything you need.
Very comfortable hotel. Great location within walking distance of downtown Fira. To reach the center you have to walk just 2 minutes. Very friendly and helpful staff, ready to provide all information. We were welcomed by Maria who is really nice. We received excellent assistance with Check-In and Check-Out. On the day of departure We also had the possibility to have luggage storage and the possibility to use the swimming pool and shower even though we had already Check-Out.
