Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI am struggling to find fault. If you want a busy nightlife, bustling days then this isn't the place to go, Panorma is the perfect location for a 'stop the world, I'm getting off' break.
An absolutely idyllic location on a peaceful, charming and totally relaxed island. The owners met us at the port and took us the short drive to the villa, which sits above the village halfway between the village and the larger beach at Livardi. Although an uphill walk from the village, it is beautiful.

Everything. Maria and Angelos were so kind and helpful and the property was stunning. It’s up quite a steep hill but we rented a car during the day and walked down into town at night, it’s not far. The room is really comfortable and the terrace and the view was unreal.

United KingdomWe loved everything!
We liked everything about this property. The lovely hosts, Maria and Angelo, kindly collected us from the ferry port and drove us up the hill to our beautiful apartment. The stunning view across the sea to neighbouring islands from the property and our terrace was breathtaking as was the sunrise. The accommodation was modern, stylish and extremely clean with lovely toiletries. The huge terrace was a fabulous place to have lunch in the company of the hosts many very cute cats. Iraklia is a wonderful, friendly island with great walking trails. The apartment was 10 minutes walk to the town centre with restaurants and shops. A nice sandy beach was a ten minute walk down the hill. We went in October but local people were still friendly and welcoming. Fabulous place. Highly recommended.

NetherlandsNothing. Except the kitchen/living was functional and lacked a somewhat cosy atmosphere. Just a simple table lamp would help to improve this.
We were met at the port by the very kind Maria and husband who drove us to the appartment on the hill top. It was very clean, new, and well equipped. The bedroom was stylish. And the terrace provided us with an excellent view.

United StatesRoom was beautiful and modern with a Greek look. Owners were super friendly and even picked me up from the Port. On the day I was leaving, check out was at 11am while my ferry time was at 9pm. They placed my luggage in a secure room and drove it to the port for me at 8:30pm while I explored more of the island up until leaving so that I did not have to lug it around everywhere.

United KingdomMeeting off the ferry did not go to plan. The host was there but was busy with other guests and was not showing a sign for me. When I realised no was there to meet me, I asked another lady who was holding a sign for a different place, and she kindly pointed out the guy I needed! On arrival at the accommodation, was told the room would not be available for two hours. (Okay it was midday). It would have been good if I had been offered of a lift to a local taverna for lunch, but I was left to walk! The flat screen television did not work. It came up with a 'no signal' error. It may have only had Greek channels, but sometimes with subtitles or football can be worth watching! The studio was lacking shelf or drawer space. Clothes hangers existed in an open space, but that was all. The kitchen had no cooking utensils. Only tableware crockery, that would have been ok. Didn't really cook there as restaurants existed down the hill. The road to and from the village which was 0.5km to the port but up a hill all the way! However there was a scattering of street lights at night
Was met from the ferry at the port of Heraklia (see below) and transported to the studio. Ground floor west facing studio almost at the top of a hill with superbly but simply furnished bedroom, separate kitchen and bathroom. The property is probably fairly new and offers a great view of Schinoussa and beyond to the west from a patio at the front. A path from the complex led down to a road that led to a large sandy beach at Livadhi. Worth a visit. Has a taverna. The door and window of the studio have mesh screens, and there is air conditioning. The most useful addition was a large ceiling fan in the main room that was silent and effective. The bathroom was large with a walk in shower. Hot water was good. The kitchen had a fridge, ceramic hob unit and stainless sink with basic kitchenware cleaning material, cutlery and crockery. A small table with a stool was in the main room

United KingdomNothing in terms of the studio itself, however, the cost of having such wonderful views is the climb from the village which is extremely steep in places. I'm reasonably fit and could manage but it was an effort.
Extremely friendly and helpful hosts who collected me upon arrival at the port. On the day of departure, held my case after check-out and brought it to the port for me later in the day when I was leaving Iraklia – made the last day far easier than having to drag a case around. Located above the village with amazing views from the private terrace. Fairly priced, exceptionally well presented accommodation which looks to have been recently refurbished with modern fixtures and fittings. Double glazed with fly-screens, AC, reliable Wi-Fi. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water and complimentary soaps & shower gels. Extremely well-equipped kitchenette with everything required for self-catering. Utterly spotless with fresh towels & linens daily. I’ve been travelling throughout the Greek Islands for 20+ years and Villa Panorama ranks amongst the best in this price bracket in terms of hosting & quality of accommodation.

GreeceThe property is uphill from the port and it's quite steep. We did not have any issues with it but someone with reduced mobility could face difficulties.
Villa Panorama is a great choice in Irakleia, exceeded all our expectations and Maria was a wonderful host, made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and even more. The location is extraordinary, on top of the hill with ample view to the sea and the nearby beach of Livadi. The room was comfortable, spacious, clean and fully equipped. We travelled with our mid-sized dog who also had a great time as the property is very pet friendly and Maria gave her a lot of treats. Couldn't have asked for more, we will certainly stay there again!

United KingdomThe location is wonderful but on a very steep hill. We did enjoy the walks up and down but it really would have been difficult for some.
This place is serene. The studio we stayed in was modern and very comfortable, but the views make it dreamy. The touches like the coffee machine, beautiful olive soap and the very obliging owners Angelos and Maria made it great. We felt looked after but had freedom of our own little spot. The island is magical in its own right. Very little was open when we visited but that added to its charm. We ate what we were served at the village restaurant 😋 and it was all delicious. The old village at the top of the island was tiny but wonderful and we loved our meals at the restaurant up there. The hiking was fantastic..especially the cave!

United KingdomShade needed on the patio - no shade pretty much all day in full sun. Can’t eat breakfast outside on patio as too hot which defeats the object of a great view if you have to sit inside.
View, modern decor, owners great very helpful lifts to and from port. Great little island, short walk into town although bear in mind it’s uphill on the way back which may not suit everyone.
