The room we got was a bit small. Beside that we really enjoyed our staying.

The host was very helpful in every situation, he is there all the time if you need anything, he even gave us local cake, made by him. There is a bakery next door opened 24/24 with good prices. 3 mins walk to the beach and 5 mins walk to the bus station. Our room was cleaned everyday for free. The host managed to book transfer from the airport to the location and from the location to the airport (40 euros/2 persons/ one transfer)

The place is beautiful, great location, 5 minutes from the beach, the apartment is clean, cleaned every day. I did not meet the owner, but therefore I have only words of praise for Francesco our host. Definitely value for money and would come back again.

The Booking.com advertises this Junior Suite with a double bed and a Sofa bed. But I found out that the room had a sofa but not a Sofa bed. That was a surprise that I did not like. The bathroom size small and we would have preferred slightly bigger bathroom but that did not affect the comfort of the stay for the purpose of beach holiday as we were not in the room for too long.

This is a review of the Junior Suite Room 9. We went for a beach holiday and Cal Day is about 5 min walk from the beach; cross the main road and take the lane by Diamond Cars so the location was super. There is Carrefour about 10 min walk and smaller super markets near by. A 24 hour cafe just opposite to the Cal Day which serves wonderful pastries. The caretaker Mr. Fratzeskos is a wonderful person and took great care of us. He provided us with Beach towels too. The balcony was great to dry swimwear. The view of the hills provided great backdrop. The cleaning lady Harerulla did a wonderful job each day. The owner Angelos provided good guidance and arranged transfers for a payment, the driver Costas was very helpful. The bus stops are close by for journeys to nearby towns, best to walk 7 min to the Church bus stop by Perissa beach as it is the terminus and you get a seat. The room size was decent. The bed was really comfortable.

It is really comfort stay in Cal Day Room. The room is clean and has a nice sense of design. From the hand-made decorations, you can see how much effort the host pay to. The location is very convenient. 2 minutes walk to bus station( The Bob’s Bar station), and 5 minutes walk to the black beach. There is a 24h bakery’s store within 1 minutes by walking, its chocolate cake is very tasty. There are also several supermarket/mini market nearby, all within walking distance. It was a great experience, I will recommend Cal Day Room to my friends and will choose here again if I come back!

Excellent accommodations, Angelos the host was always helpful with any needs or concerns. The Buget Twin Room was modest, very trypical of budget, but the beds were super comfortable. Room was clean. Would stay again but for the small upcharge the Junior Suite is the way to go.

The room was a bit small, but we think that is the norm on Santorini where space is at a premium, especially since we got a reasonable rate.

The owner was exceptionally gracious and helpful. He gave us ideas about places and restaurants to visit. The room was EXTREMELY clean. The mattress on the bed was memory foam, and we've never slept on memory foam in a hotel. The entire place was recently built with a comfortable and cozy vibe. There was a 24-hour bakery next door. The beach was a very short walk from the hotel and had tons of souvenirs and restaurants.

Excellent value for money. Very clean and pleasant structure, compact but functional, 5 minutes walk from Perissa Beach. It also has a large outdoor parking and an excellent bakery open 24 hours just downstairs. A special mention to Angelos, the owner of the place, a truly exquisite person, always available for anything and truly welcoming. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Perfect place to stay when you're in Santorini. During the day you can visit all places you want to see (we used atv) and in the afternoon you can chill at the beach of Perissa, which is less crowded than other parts of Santorini. We loved it. Angelos does everything to make your stay unforgettable and has many connections all over Santorini which is a great plus. He also steps in for everything you need help with (for example: we had a misunderstanding with the rental company and after one phone call Angelos was there to help us) Thank you so much Angelos!!

The location! Perissa is the BEST place to stay in Santorini. Santorini is known for Oia and Thira and although they are beautiful and well worth a visit for an afternoon or evening to watch the sunset I would not recommend staying there. Perissa has fantastic bus routes into Thira and Oia and is beautiful, with lovely people and great prices. Oia and Thira are set up to take tourists money whereas Perissa is much more of an authentic experience. You can have breakfast at the 24/7 bakery or at Tutti Frutti both over the road from Cal Day Rooms and chat to the locals and enjoy Greek food and hospitality. Angelos was probably the best host we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. Nothing was too much trouble, he kept reception open late for us to check out, allowed us to store luggage and change in the bathroom before going to the airport, recommeded fantastic places to eat, always said hello, replied to our WhatsApp messages in seconds and organised for the cleaner to skip our room clean one day. The cleaner was also fantastic, rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated with handmade greek ornaments. We had fresh towels every other day and there were soaps, shampoo, body wash left for us. The balcony was the perfect place to relax after the beach and they provide pegs so you can hang up your swim stuff. I could write for hours about how amazing this hotel is but I’ll stop here! Thank you Angelos & Cal Day Rooms for everything! We will be back soon hopefully.

The place is not soundproof, so I wore earplugs all night. It wasn't too bad, but as I'm a very light sleeper, I woke up a lot. But my friend was able to sleep soundly. That's why it depends on the person. The toilet system is old and it was a bit uncomfortable.

The place was very comfortable, like being at home. The reception was amazing and the host Angelos was very friendly and suggested areas to enjoy in the place. And the place was very clean.

Our stay at Cal Day Room was perfect on so many levels, and I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. The highlight of our visit was certainly the service provided by Angelos, the owner. He is the perfect host, offering courtesy, knowledge, and a willingness to go above and beyond for his guests. He started assisting us ahead of our arrival to ensure everything was set for our trip and organized a transfer from the airport. He then provided a wealth of recommendations and tips for activities, services, beaches, restaurants, etc., and I must admit we were amazed by his knowledge and his ability to match any of our requests (and we had many) with the perfect answer. To name a few, he booked a front-row table at a prime spot to enjoy the sunset in Oia, organized a private vineyard visit and tasting, and a romantic catamaran excursion. He truly made our holiday in Santorini special. He is a great communicator, always responding within minutes, always unbothered, and with a smile on his face – a true gem! Our room was spacious and delightfully decorated with the perfect blend of traditional authentic furniture from Santorini and modernity. Furthermore, the room was sparkling clean upon arrival and cleaned thoroughly every single day. I can easily say that I have rarely encountered such a high standard in other places. For us, it is more than 10 out of 10, and we will definitely look to come back to Cal Day in the future.

The budget room was a bit of a disappointment only because it did not offer any views outside and had two tiny windows.. but this felt like a miss on my part when I booked the rooms.

Great location on Perissa beach, clean rooms, clean sheets, clean bathrooms, and VERY friendly staff who went out of their way to receive us late in the night, arrange a taxi for us last minute and carry our heavy luggage up the stairs! Oh, and super-helpful with guiding us around the island, suggesting places we eat at, visit and order food from!
