Good location, nice bohemian style for the room

It was very spacious, had a decent view, the balcony was very nice, and the fridge was stocked with many things for us. It was in a good location, very walkable to nearby attractions.

There were no real issues.

Location was very close to Monastiraki Square in one direction and the central market in the other. Lots of places to eat and drink in the side streets around the hotel. Breakfast was a excellent self service affair with cereals, yoghurt, pastries and a small range of cooked items. Our room was large with a big bathroom and huge walk in shower. Staff were very helpful and keen to ensure that we had a pleasant stay, happy to recommend restaurants and book them for us.

Main bed was bigger than the mattress itself and so its sharp corners kept hurting all of us. The bathroom doors had door handles only on one side. No wardrobe to hang clothes. There were no lines to hang wet clothes near bathroom. Safe was not fixed onto the wall or so. Breakfast was average. Ladder for the upper bunk bed was almost painful to access.

The mattress was too soft for me. Never knew which light switch to use of the many to choose from, we just kept trying them till one worked. The curtains were very difficult to open and close, and were hanging off (probably from the last person that struggled) There was no plug socket near a mirror to style my hair. There needed to be a second mirror thats not in the bathroom.

The location. The breakfast. The style. The helpfulness of the staff. Fantastic shower. The aircon. The quiet (despite being in the heart of Athens!)

Room didn't have seating, which wasn't a huge issue since we were exploring all day but would have been nice for end of day relaxing.

We were a bit surprised to see that the shower has a window to the bedroom. There are blinds, but you cannot fully close them. So you always see a silhouette of the person who's taking a shower. Also bathroom doors are half transparent. Overall - not much privacy there :D Sounds weird, but really not that bad if you come with your partner.

The sunbeds on the terrasse are definitely neither easy to sit down nor comfortable at all. The view from the terrace on an apparently abandoned building is not ace.

Nearly everything. The big terrace with plants, the deco of the room, the very spacious bathroom. The location very central. The extreme kindness of the staff. And the breakfast of course !

Staff in the morning. Girl was helpful and prepared breakfast for us to go because we had a trip at 7am, and 2 guys said breakfast from 8-11 and nothing we can do. You can get breakfast from across a street. The guy who start working 2 days he was nice, but 2 other guys who worked in the afternoon on Apr 27, answered like that.

On the first night (Saturday night), the club / bar next door was playing very loud music. Didn’t happen on the consecutive nights (Sunday to Tuesday nights).
