The layout of this villa was out of this world. I didn’t think to rent a car. Kostas and his wife made my stay so relaxed. It was away from the main hustle and bustle but trust me when I say it was worth it after a long day The sunrise was awesome

Zoi and Kostas have created a sanctuary that feels like a home away from home, where every detail is thoughtfully curated to ensure comfort and tranquility. From the moment we booked, the entire experience was seamless, and we were welcomed with the warmest Greek hospitality. Zoi and Kostas are incredible hosts—kind, caring, and genuinely wonderful people who went above and beyond to make our stay special. The entire team, including Monty and the lovely Flora, were equally amazing, making us feel cared for in every way. Our six-day retreat was nothing short of heavenly. It was exactly what we needed—a place to recharge and escape from the stresses of daily life. It was especially meaningful for our daughter, who has an important exam coming up in a few weeks. The peaceful environment here allowed her to relax and focus, which was invaluable to us as a family. One of the highlights of our trip was the cruise—an unforgettable experience that we are already planning to repeat on our next visit to Santorini. Kostas and George were exceptional, taking great care of us and making the experience truly memorable. We can't thank Zoi and Kostas enough for helping us arrange this, and we'll be recommending their services to everyone we know, both personally and professionally. The staff are the best! We love Zoi, Kostas and Flora. They were super helpful and organised everything for us. The apartment was huge we had so much room. The pool was perfect and sun beds to lay on were comfortable. The location of the hotel is beautiful for sunrise and only 5 minute drive to local area. We would absolutely stay here again!!

First things first: a stay at Thimari Lodge is unique! The accommodation is in a quiet, location near Fira and is tastefully, high-grade and lovingly furnished from A to Z. The private pool is also a real highlight. An excellent breakfast (of your choice) and water are brought to you every day. The cherry on the top is undoubtedly the hosts, Zoi and Kostas. We have never experienced experienced such hospitality. They put their heart and soul into looking after their guests and always try to give them the best possible. This concerns requests around the house but also things like reservations or the organization of sightseeing tours. You can tell that they love their work and make you feel very welcome. Highly recommended: we will be back!

It is under the flight path of jets landing and leaving from the airport, but not too much of an issue

Amazing and stylish design inside and out, this 3 level property was so fresh and clean in a classic Santorini whitewashed style, with a superb level of service every moment of our stay. Our private plunge pool that was cleaned each morning before we were up, and a luxurious breakfast delivered to our door every morning at the time of our choosing. The hosts Zoi and Kosta were amazing, so friendly and their recommendations for places to eat and visit outside the tourist areas were so helpful. They even booked our Caldera cruise and several restaurants for us. We loved the location as it was away from the touristy centre of Fira on the East side of the island, so it’s essential to have a car to get around where the property is located. So private and peaceful with only 4 villas on site. Super comfy beds, huge walk-in showers and seemingly endless new fluffy towels refreshed every day. Coffee pod machine, and bottled water, milk, fruit and wine all supplied daily in the fridge! We were blown away with the super attentive and constant level of service and felt very pampered!

There was nothing I disliked. I loved everything about the whole place.

We chose to visit Thimari Lodge to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The communication from the moment we booked until the moment we left was superb. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a great bottle of wine, which went down a treat after our travels. Everything was thought of in our luxurious, hidden villa from a robe, slippers, fresh fruit, even a Nespresso coffee maker and having a private pool brought us so much happiness and relaxation. We were delighted to have a great breakfast brought to us every morning during our stay, and on our anniversary, we were pleasantly surprised with a delicious personalized large cake adorned with a '25' candle. One day, as my husband and I were walking back from the beach, Kostas offered us some Greek lemonade to help us feel refreshed. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Zoi recommended an incredible restaurant for our special day. Kostas recommended that we take a short walk to the beach to catch the delightful 6am sunrise. Throughout our stay, everyone was so warm and helpful. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile. Thank you to the team at Thimari Lodge for making our stay wonderful. It was truly relaxing, and we enjoyed every moment of it.

Our stay at Thimari Lodge exceeded our expectations. The host and staff were phenomenal and very friendly and welcoming. They made sure we were 100% taken care of and offered plenty of suggestions on what to do in the area. I would 100% recommend Thimari Lodge and would always come back there.

Absolutely beautiful property, in a very tranquil place . The suite is spacious and modern but done in Greek style, the private pool is quite big. Breakfast is lovely and served the room / terrace in the morning. The hosts are such lovely people they help to organize everything ( transfers, dinner reservations, birthday cake and balloons , boat cruise). Our stay was amazing and we hope to be back .

Taxis are expensive and we should have hired a car. Nerves about driving abroad stop us, however now we have seen how easy it to drive in Santorini we would have done this.

Everything about the villa is just perfect. Zoi and Kostas were so helpful and generous. I don't think there was anything more they could have done for us.

The staff/owner were absolutely amazing, Zoe is available to WhatsApp at any time which was so helpful for any questions and it made our stay so easy! It was so peaceful, you had your own privacy/space, very clean, pool gets cleaned every morning, breakfast was delivered to you every morning, the shower was also nice and powerful! You also get the best of both sunrise and sunset. We loved our stay. Thank you!

The property is not is central Fira, whoever think of going & staying there, must hire a car for better travel option.

Kostas & Zoye have been an amazing host throughout. They looked after us like a shadow and was always there to lend there hand in need. The property is beautiful with private pool, very clean, breakfast was good and customer service is excellent.

While there were no issues with security, the land surrounding the lodge is open and unfenced, which is fine for as long as the island remains peaceful, safe, and with low crime rates.

I loved Thimari Lodge. Minimalis, elegant, and upscale in design. Serene, peaceful surroundings. Friendly and supportive management and staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

There could have been a bit more variaty and a bit less bread/pastry/sweet bakeries included in the breakfast. Maybe some fresh fruits, berries, cheese or/and other toppings for the bread. Now there were only buttet for the bread. The location is a bit outside of Oia and Fira and other cities, so you need a taxi, Uber or car. The prices for taxi vary quite a lot.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful! They helped us organizing transportation to places, and were eager to give tips for activities and places to see. The villa was very nice and clean, and well equiped. The pool was cleaned every day. It was nice to get to choose the "main course" in the breakfast from different options, as well as the time for delivery to the villa.
