I think it would be good to have more pictures of the different rooms available as we booked a room based on the pictures on Booking.com but they didn’t look anything like the room we had

Some areas could do with a refresh, like the bathrooms, but overall quality=price and any small quibbles are easily made up by the amazing over all quality of room service, cleanliness and attentive staff. The near by beach (which has nothing to do with the hotel) is a little of a pain as each restaurant is racketeering a patch of beach and it can get a bit exhausting being hustled for lunch/sunbed action, but they got to make a buck so just kept politely declining. Captains Corner was a nice get away from this and great food too.

Excellent, friendly knowledgeable Staff. Superb breakfasts, great location. Make sure you take the opportunity to climb up to the Zoodochos Pigi Cave and little Chapple. It is an great view a moment of calm and leads easily to Ancient Thera.

The four of us (all adults) shared a room with mezzanine balcony with 2 single beds upstairs. The stairs are wooden open tread and it took a few days to get used to them especially in the middle of the night in the dark.

The Tamarix exceeded our expectations in many ways. Hotel staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts provided was fabulous, spoilt for choice and very tasty. The location is great, few minutes from the beach, bars and restaurants.

Absolutely nothing not to like !

The property is beautiful, well maintained and clean. Pool is small and lovely. We had the view of Kamara rock as a view from my room overlooking the pool. It was beautiful. The staff were super friendly, have loads of local travel tips, always happy to help. Housekeeping staff are real credit to this place. Cherry on the cake is the location of the property. 5 mins walk from beach, shops, supermarket and multiple lovely restaurants !!

A bit more veriety in the local restaurants - almost all served the same food (which was good, but eating the same thing every day is not ideal).

The Jaccuzi jet in the pool didn’t work, the pool was rather small. The breakfast didn’t have that much variety, it was rather boring. There was no phone in the room to call the reception.

Lovely hotel. Large rooms, comfortable beds, and very nice private hot tub. Breakfast options were plentiful and good.

Everything! The staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating. We came early and were seated at the pool bar, with the drinks on the house. The room was big and clean, with great air conditioning and hot tub. It was my birthday and when we came to our room, there was a little bottle of prosecco and "Happy Birthday" card there. Pool is clean and warm enough, breakfast is fresh and has all the necessary options. Overall, it was extremely pleasant experience, hope to be back one day!

The gym could use an update. There's not a "full rack" of weights. While there I made due with what was available. It would be nice if they could update their gym equipment. Especially since some parts are rusting or old or missing. A full rack of dumbbells would be awesome and provide so much to the space alone.

Breakfast was such a wonderful variety of options. I was thankful that there were multiple options for protein. There were also so many wonderful cultural foods to try and taste!
