We had a wonderful 2-night stay here. The women who owned and worked there were all so lovely and kind. The breakfast is delicious. I regret not giving ourselves enough time either morning to enjoy leisurely. The room we rented was huge and so comfortable. It was a close walk to all the things we wanted, but also on a quiet street which we really appreciated.

The staff's hospitality was absolutely incredible. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay. We stayed at the hotel twice on our trip and they remembered specific details about us when we returned and it made us feel very welcome.

The hotel is located in a central location. I was able to see the Acropolis from my room. The staff was very accommodating and hospitable. They made me breakfast to go for my early morning departure to one of the islands.

Our only minor complaint was that the air conditioning in our room didn’t get cool enough until several hours after we turned it on.

The staff were so helpful, letting us store our luggage until our room was ready (we arrived 5 hours early). When we returned a few hours before check in time as they suggested our room was ready and they had moved all our luggage for us. They also gave us water bottles upon arrival and their breakfast spread was amazing!

The staff that we dealt with was flaky. When we checked in didn’t have dinner reservation we made and then when left asked to call a cab to take up to Piraeus (port) but she had instructed driver to take us to airport. We almost missed ferry but our cab driver was amazing and got us there with a minute to spare.

The property was well located near the main sites but away from the noise of the city. The breakfast was good.

In the morning, you could hear water pipes, folks getting ready for the day. It's a small, intimate hotel, so this could not be avoided.

The room itself was spotless and comfortable. The bathroom had everything I needed, but it was really tiny. It could have used an extra hook for hanging towels and robes. The breakfast was excellent and a great start to the day. The hotel staff were truly exceptional, always ready to assist and answer any questions. Their helpfulness made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. The hotel's location was also exceptional. It was in the heart of Plaka, near tourist sites, restaurants, shops, and bars, but on a very quiet street.

If only other hoteliers would take lessons from the cheery, kind and solicitous staff at Sweet Home. They make all the difference in a hotel experience. Aside from that important detail, the hotel is very well located, on a quiet street, has excellent air conditioning, and provides an unbeatable breakfast. I particularly appreciated the expansive selection of loose leaf teas.

My only negative was the lack of sound isolation in my room, I heard most of the talking above me and in the hall, but that is of course due to an older property (with character!!).

Amazingly friendly and accommodating staff, sophisticated but not stuffy. The breakfast was wonderful and central location couldn't be beat. I went everywhere on foot.
