Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We really our loved out at Sunset Paros Naousa. We were so sad to leave. Paros was our favorite island on our travels in Greece but the hotel and hosts made the experience even better. The Hosts Sarah and Mattias were a wonderful family who recently purchased the hotel and have done a great job so far with it and have great plans for it in the future. They were the best hosts ever. The property was so relaxing. Olive trees everywhere. A nice pool. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Free parking if you have a car. Easy walking distance to Naousa main area. They were always there to answer questions and gave us great advice. They had 5 and 8 year old kids that made friends with our 9 year old daughter and each night they played in the pool together. My daughter was so sad to leave. If you have kids do not hesitate to bring them there at this beautiful property. You can reach the best beaches in Paros within a easy 10 minute drive. A great bakery within a 3 minute walk. We loved our stay here and are looking forward to returning one day. Thanks so much Sarah and Mattias.

United KingdomWe had an amazing stay at Sunset Paros. The location was great, really close to the town but felt quiet and secluded. There are also local supermarkets and bakeries etc nearby which was really handy. The pool and general outside area was fantastic, and very well looked after. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay, especially with recommendations for restaurants and bars. We already can’t wait to come back and stay in the future!

MalaysiaWe had a lovely stay at Sunset Paros. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Sara and Matias really made you feel like part of the family and were so helpful with recommendations on what to do and where to eat etc. The pool and outside area was clean and tidy, so nice relaxing under the olive trees. The free parking is such a bonus when hiring a car. The room was immaculate and cleaned every day. Our room had a balcony and kitchenette area which was great. The bathroom a little dated but not a problem. The most comfy bed! There is a gym around the corner and the most amazing bakery for sweet & savory treats, great iced coffee too. There is a mini market close by too for water and essentials. The walk in to town is under 10 minutes so away from the noise. Highly recommend a massage from Exymno Anatripsis. We have had the perfect stay and cannot wait to come back to Sunset Paros in the future to see how the business has grown.

Sarah and Mateo were the single-handedly best hosts. After traveling for the entire summer, they topped everyone we stayed with. They are so kind and invite us out for snacks and food near the pool every night. Their place is amazing and everyone is very kind and friendly. We stayed for three nights and wish we could have stayed three weeks. The rooms were clean, they offered refreshments and juices, and cleaned our room every day. Highly recommend staying here, and is such a quiet area very close to the center of Naousa!

United StatesThis hotel is beautiful, quiet and very picturesque. Sera was very attentive and hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed, including the contact to a taxi to travel back to the port which was very much appreciated! The hotel is an easy 7 minute walk to the center of town where all the shops and restaurants are located, which made this hotel a prime spot for us. The island of Paros is beautiful itself and I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Naousa.

AustraliaAbsolutely nothing!
It’s taken so long to write a review for this accomodation because I thought nothing I wrote could do it justice. Without even the accomodation itself, staying with hosts Sara and Matias was such a joy. They are the kindest, most helpful hosts that want nothing more than for you to have the best stay possible. We arrived at 11pm as our ferry was delayed and they were there to meet us and help us check in. They had so many recommendations of food and beaches on the island, and they really made our stay that much more enjoyable. The accomodation was so beautiful. It felt like you were in a resort with the immaculate pool, laying on the deck chairs under the olive trees. The accomodation is 20 steps away from a gym which is perfect, and only 5 minutes walk into the town of Naousa which is amazing. It is so private and peaceful yet close to the busy beautiful streets where there is so much amazing food and bars and shops. The room itself is simple and perfect for a single or couple. It’s great having a balcony and little kitchenette also! I believe they have some really amazing plans in the future for the place so I’m so excited to come back and see! I would come back in a heartbeat, it is the perfect place to stay and couldn’t recommend enough. Thank you so much Sara and Matias! We will be back x

AustraliaNothing. We loved this.
WOW! It’s not often I write long reviews but this place is SUPER & the new managers running it (Sara & Matias) deserve my time to do so. Firstly the pool is like an Oasis. It can be busy in Naousa & returning to this big garden & pool area, is just delightful!!! The walk into the town centre only takes 6-7 minutes, so the location is super convenient. The pictures of this hotel (including bedrooms, bathrooms & kitchenette) are exactly as it is online, which is always good. We traveled with our 2 teenagers & having the little kitchen was great. Even better was the tables & chairs under the beautiful old olive trees, where we sat with either coffee & croissants from the bakery around the corner or our own cheese platter/ food. The pool area was a wonderful mix of everyone/everything. This hotel seems to have organically created a gentle energetic space that lends itself to “who is around at the time”. We had time with kids laughing in the pool & other times when we sat & shared wine with only other adults from every corner of the world. The beds & pillows are amazingly comfortable. I travel with my own pillow & didn’t use it once. Sara’s recommendations re restaurants & bar’s were spot on! She gave us a mix of cheap & cheerful cafes all the way through to fine dining. All excellent! So if you are looking for a place to escape to after the hustle & bustle of the little town, this place is tremendous. We were supposed to go to another country in June next year but we loved this place so much, we might get our 12 friends to join us at this gorgeous hotel instead. We loved it & are grateful to Sara & Matias for creating such a warm, friendly “home away from home”. Thank you!!

United KingdomIf I had to improve anything I would maybe say the bathroom could do with being updated, but didn’t affect our stay at all!
My partner and I stayed here for the last week. The hotel was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t recommend it enough. The room was a great size, immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and so quiet. The location was perfect, just down the road from a lovely bakery and a 5-10 min walk into the centre of Naoussa and some surrounding beaches which were stunning. It was easy to get to from the port (would recommend getting a bus for €2 rather than a taxi for €30!) The owners were so friendly and helpful. We have already recommended the hotel to all of our friends and family and would definitely like to return in the future.
