Unstable Wi-Fi in our room.

We had a very comfortable stay there. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The hotel has a beautiful yard, a nice buffet and a pool. The location is very convenient with several good restaurants and two big stores nearby. The four very nice beaches are within 10 min walking distance.

It's our second time staying at Sun City and it was another 10 star experience! The hospitality was exceptional, hotel is charming, spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The friendly atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Location is great near a few lovely beaches, we recommend Yanis beach where we spent most of our time and some great tavernas yet it is in a quiet area. It's easy to catch a bus to the Chania, making exploring super convenient. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming place to stay. We look forward to our next visit. Lack of space for cooking. Noise from some other rooms quite audible, and we had noisy neighbours for a few days. However, earplugs blocked out the noise.

The most friendly staff I've ever encountered in a hotel like this. Great location near the beach, supermarkets, and busses to Chania. Great price. Or room was a good size and as we had a corner room, our balcony was huge.

Hmmm. Nothing comes to mind, the holiday was really successful, thanks to the staff.

The location of the hotel was excellent for me, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center but still quite close. Yannis beach is approx. 300m. at the end, Lidl next door and the bus went to the center in front of the hotel. Breakfast was served to the table at the pool bar and was really sufficient. Sorry about the barstool.. :)

Location was very good , bus stop to the old town and the beaches nearby was just outside the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel was really nice. Staf were very helpful and would go out of their way to accommodate the need of the guests.

The hotel itself is a family ran and every aspect of the hotel was amazing, from the service when we arrived late at night to how clean the room was every day when we came back! The approach and friendliness of the staff was great!

The room was a bit small for a familiy of 4.

The pool is wonderful, my kids enjoyed it very much. The whole hotel is very clean, real greek feeling with the decoration. Loved the balcony. The staff is smiling all the time, very helpful, even the cleaning ladies. Next to the hotel there are two big supermarkets. Beach is 5 minutes away, great for snorkeling. Bus stop is 1 minute walk. Thank you!

Hospitallity and kindness of all staff, privacy and their professionalism. The therase and pool were amazing. Nice view from the balcony in the yard. Very good coffee, cocktalls and local cold beers. Very close and excellent Yannis Beach.

There was nothing negative about our experience

The room had everything we needed. Super cozy, it feels more like a family home than a hotel, it’s lovely! It was well equipped and even had a little stove so we could make our own food, and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The staff was super nice and friendly, we got to know truly great people that made a very positive difference in our stay, we will 100% stay there again when we go back to Crete. It’s also walking distance from amazing beaches, and spending a day at the pool is well worth it!

The hotel could be in a movie it’s very cooly decorated. The owner and Mary as well as the young bartender are fabulous. Next to market, beach and bus station. Ver cool spot and highly recommended.

If I had to be picky, I'd wish the water pressure in the shower was higher, the WiFi signal in the family apartment stronger (had to go down to the pool / reception for getting good connection). The facilities are all working and perfectly useable, but far from new and could use an upgrade. There is nothing the hotel can do with it, but the street it is located on can be quite noisy if you have a baby sleeping.

Great host, very helpful, nice and welcoming staff, one of the largest family apartments in the town, nice pool, great location next to beaches and supermarkets. We really appreciate the grass and the plants in the area making it look like a small oasis on a busy street. Stayed there for our second time. Big thanks to Gina and the other staff for accommodating our extra needs and being helpful!

Kindness of the whole family Big room and balcony Pool Location Small bar in front of the hotel One of the best vacations we ever had! The entire family that runs the hotel is so nice you feel like you are at home. Rooms are big and allow you to take the best rest possible. There is a swimming pool in front of the hotel,there is also a nice small bar with great people working in it. Have a beer or whatever drink you want and meet people from all around the world - the best experience ever and like a big happy family. You can also decide for a breakfast there or to grab a quicl snack. And also beatiful beaches are just a few minutes away. Across the road there are 2 great restaurants which give you chance to explore great greek cuisine (Angelo and Oregano). I would recommend Sun City to everyone who wants to have a relaxing vacation and feel like being there before even if it is the first time. Gina and the family - you are the best and really thanks for everything from heart!

Rating this hotel provides you with a dilemma!! You want to acknowledge the great family that run it and how friendly it is - but you also want to be able to book again and worry if people will find out !!! Location is spot on with everything you need only minutes away .. you can see why most of the people that you meet there are regulars !!! You want to be part of that too !!

My partner and I stayed Friday-Monday this weekend and had a brilliant time. Not only were the staff and owners extremely friendly but the service itself was also excellent! The rooms were simple but just what you need for a holiday, we were offered housekeeping everyday of our stay and the rooms and pool area were kept lovely and clean. The hotel itself was in a great location, quiet and peaceful but close enough to restaurants, bars and the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here! After booking this stay we requested information regarding travel from the airport and were sent an in detail message from the owners with all travel options including bus numbers, locations and times as well as taxi options and prices, they definitely didn’t have to go out of their way to do that as most probably wouldn’t so it was hugely appreciated with us being first time visitors to Chania. The environment of the hotel itself was lovely and was filled with lovely friendly people who alongside the staff made my boyfriend and I feel extremely comfortable!

Bathrooms are a bit dated but everything works.

Truly lovely run by a wonderful family. Very comfortable, always greet you with a smile, rooms are quickly attended to. The family will answer any questions you may have and direct you to your personal goals. From this hotel you are a hop skip and jump to 4+ wonderful beaches, all walking distance and at least 4+ restaurants, two immediately across from you. Directly beside a supermarket. They offer coffee, drinks, breakfast foods, sandwiches salads all by the pool, in the comforts of their property, security at night. Would come again.

Small number of power sockets in the room

Location was perfect since it was combining many things together: places to eat, supermarket, beach. It was also near city center (by car) and there issue with parking.
