When I booked I thought the hotel was on the actual caldera, but it instead overlooked the plain, dry landscape on the other side of the island. Which makes sense because that is the part that the sunset actually hits - just the views aren’t as nice. It was also at the beginning of the village, so like a 10 minute walk to the center, but that’s a mistake on my part though, I should have informed myself better before booking.

The hotel is lovely, very clean and beautiful room. The staff was outstanding, so friendly, forthcoming and helpful. The hot tub was lovely, we enjoyed it a lot. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast any of us had ever had, outstanding.

Really couldn’t fault this little gem of a place.

It was a perfect location 5 minutes walk to the centre of Oia. Sunset views were stunning from the luxury of your own private jacuzzi. We personally preferred that’s as Oia is quite busy at sunset times .

Beautiful! we loved our stay, from the room, the view, the staff, the hot tub. We loved it all. Great location, merely a short walk to the shops and OIA for the insta worthy pics. Staff were amazing and continued to check that we were happy and comfortable. Well worth the money.

The staff were amazing and very helpful, the recommendations they gave for what to do and where to eat on the island were perfect. The hotel is super clean and the facilities provided by them was great. The breakfast was always fresh and on time in the morning. The location is ideal and a short walk from the high street and the bus station. Would highly recommend and would happily stay here again!

The staff were so friendly and approachable. The suites are a very short walk into Oia in an excellent location. The hot tubs are a lovely place to watch the sunset from! The rooms are clean and breakfast is delicious.

We had the most amazing stay at Sole d’Oro in Santorini! The team provided us with outstanding service during our trip and went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. Everyone was friendly and welcoming :) The location was great, only a short 2-3 minute walk to Oia town but felt very quiet and secluded which was perfect for us. The room was beautiful, great size, comfortable bed, amazing private outdoor hot tub and all the ammenities we could have needed. Would definitely recommend Sole d’Oro to anyone wanting a fabulous stay in Santorini. 10/10

I was told the room would be ready at a certain time, and it wasn't (which was fine) just zero communication about it or how the cleaning process was going. I asked the reception guy if we should go eat lunch and come back or if it'd be ready soon and he got a little snappy and kept saying "you need to be patient" even though I was very nice. Location was a little far from the main part of oia. Hot tub was always luke warm.

First and foremost the location of the property and the service of the hotel staffs are beyond exceptional. I have been to a lot of hotels in Europe particularly resort hotels and I can say they are one of the best. Katerina, Nicolas and sorry to forget the other one name but they were the best, they even gave us a little snack for our 4am departure which I think is more than expected from them. They have all you need also for the tours and their location is near the busy hub of Oia. I went here with my Aunt who has mobility problem and for sure this is the best for all those traveling with family that has the situation like me. I totally adore their service. Keep it up!
