Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe pool bar at hotel only does toasty sandwich, do more variety such as crisps/fries, jacket potato would be great if possible
Staff were wonderfully warm, welcoming, professional and helpful-outstanding. We stayed in an economy room, which had everything you could need. Small but serviceable bathroom, comfortable beds. Fridge was a welcome addition, as was the aircon. TV available but we didnt use it. Our room had a lovely little private sitting area overlooking the beautiful pool and gardens filled with bougainvillea . The pagoda above our patio area was hanging with grapes and vines. The pool bar was very reasonably priced and bar staff were lovely. Really liked the little library area. All parts of hotel were immaculately clean. Very hardworking staff from reception, bar, cleaners and maintenance. Private hotel carpark opposite was a bonus. Literally turn left from hotel and in less than 2 mins on beach and main village front for all restaurants. Aegean Safran restaurant give 10%discount to hotel guests and food was great. All staff we encountered in Santorini were incredibly supportive and accommodating in regard to my daughters severe food allergies which we found very reassuring and helped make the holiday such a positive experience. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. The hotel itself and bars in Perissa were serving luxury at affordable prices. Would also recommend Tranquilo restaurant for amazing vegetarian food and excellent staff

Saudi ArabiaThe water in the hotel is undrinkable and salty. Some animal noise coming from barn near by.
Location, the wonderful staff the smile never leaves their face always there to help, the room with Jacuzzi was big and the jacuzzi was great, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was good and the water pressure was very good. My daughter enjoyed the swimming pool.

United KingdomThere is no food available at the hotel, although it's only a short walk (less than 5 mins), to a strip of bars and cafes where there is lots of choice of food at reasonable prices.
Amazing location, lovely pool, staff so friendly and couldn't do more to help.

United KingdomCan’t fault it, although sometimes the music round the pool was a bit loud / monotonous for my tastes. No one else seemed bothered.
Delightful bijou apartment hotel, with absolutely fantastic staff. We were made to feel welcomed the moment we stepped into the reception and the staff’s attentiveness was second to none. I have never experienced such warm, lovely people in a hotel, even the cleaners were smiley and polite. The place itself is very clean and well maintained, with a super relaxed vibe. The pool area isn’t huge but never felt crowded. Drinks are reasonable, we got a whole bottle of wine for 15 euros which wasn’t far off supermarket prices. Our apartment (21) was perfect, with ultra easy access to the pool, nice rear balcony where you could catch some morning light and then shade in the afternoon when it got really toasty outside (there is a hot tub too which we used one evening for LOLs). There are loads of great restaurants along the beach front which is in easy walking distance. Perissa itself is super chill compared to the bustle of cruise-infested Fira and Oia, you won’t regret staying on the “cheaper” side of the island! Highlights for us were the Catamaran and Kayak tours, all arranged through the hotel.

United StatesYou cannot park in the Old Town, so finding parking was a bit difficult with quite a hike to our room. Because of the Ferry schedule change, we arrived very late, so needless to say the parking situation was not the best. The room was great, wish we would have gotten in earlier in order to appreciate the town.
Room was exceptional and the owner provided a bottle of wine with light refreshments in the fridge. He was also very responsive when we locked ourselves out of the room.

United KingdomNothing.
- The hotel great and in a fantastic location. Perivolos was perfect for us. Away from the busy spots but close enough to go visit via bus (from the Euromarket near the hotel). - The beach is only a 2 minute walk away. - The staff were fantastic and super friendly. From reception, cleaning staff to the bar staff. All excellent. - The hotel was immaculate from our room to the grounds and staff worked hard to keep it like this. - The hotel bar was handy and reasonably priced. No food but you can order a toastie. This did not take away from the experience in any way. Plenty of options for food close by. - Our flight home was at 2350! But we were allowed to use all facilities until we left for the airport. That was great. Meant we got to enjoy a full day at the beach and knew we could shower/ change.

FranceNothing. I got what expected.
The personnel is super kind and willing to provide you with every kind of information on-place and activities on isle. The location is practical for getting the main seasides and beaches, such as Perissa, Perivolos, Red Beach, White Beach, Vlychada. The hotel is about twenty minutes driving from Fira and 45 minutes driving from Oia. Sunbeds, bar and pool is well maintained at the hotel.

FranceTap water isn't drinkable so you have to buy bottles every day, not the hotel's fault but that amounts to a lot of plastic. Also, poor plumbing means having to throw toilet paper in the trashcan. But again, that's everywhere on the island.
Large room with comfortable beds, renovated hotel with a nice pool and lounging chairs / beds around the property. Strong wifi. Friendly staff offering to help with any tourist request. Daily cleaning and the hotel offers access to the pool and showers for guests having checked out. Even though there are many rooms, it never felt crowded and was quiet. The property is 2' walk from the beach and has a deal with nearby Aegan restaurant on the beach, where you can use the sunbeds for free. The bus stop and mini market "Euromarket" are less than 10' away. Warning: not all buses to Fira stop in Perivolos, you may have to walk to Perissa, Perivolos beach is a black sand beach, possibly the best area in Santorini for swimming (not snorkeling): calm sea, water shoes are not needed. There are many nice restaurants close to the hotel.

United KingdomThe only “problem” is some guests would stay chatting outside past 00:00 when the bar closes. Of course I was understanding and so was the staff since we were all on holiday. I just shut the window and open the aircon.
The staff makes the difference in this hotel. They are always available and smiling. My room was upgraded by 2 and I stayed in the Santorini Suite, really nice. The room size is spectacular as were the views from the window and the terrace. The jacuzzi is ok but not my thing. The swimming pool is big and clean. The area is ideal to go to the beach, only 30 metres. The staff will recommend you a beach restaurant were umbrella and sunbeds are free plus there is a 10% discount on meals…follow the recommendation as that place was excellent too. Room cleaning with towel replacement is everyday unless you don’t want to be disturbed. All beautiful
