Excellent location. Run by very friendly and helpful hosts. I stayed in a lovely small studio with a kitchnette and en suite bathroom with shower. The studio had a large balcony with table and chairs and a beautiful view over the Nea Chora beach / harbour. The beach is just in front with many good restaurants along the promenade. Despite the location, just in front the marina and main road, it is very quiet (no noise at all at night). Also very near the old town: you can reach it in about 10 minutes walking along a beautiful sea promenade with pine trees.

Great location very close to the beach and a short walk to the old town. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were able to store bags before check in which was appreciated. We recommend a visit to Marathi beach which we visited with a hire car. The hire boats there looked great but were booked out for the morning when we arrived. Would recommend hiring in advance if you are interested.

If I have to be picky the bathroom was a lil too small but it had all the facilities so you forget about it within a day

We loved the Host he was always helpful …. The location of the property was great exactly in the middle of old town and new town so you could easily go shopping and visiting old Chania or to the beach . We loved our stay .

The room was smaller than expected, but enough to stay. The mattress- for me- was too soft, but this is personal preference. I must say it was new although and had a mattress pad!

First of all the host(s) were friendly, always with a smile, willing to help, asking how was our day, where to park our motorcycle etc. everyday the room was being cleaned. The location is really good- 3 min walking to beach, many restaurants, close to a big super market, 10 minutes from city center, 15 minutes to old town. I would suggest to book a room with sea view to watch the sunset. You can cook inside the room and they provide everything - pots, cups, mugs, spoons, plates, bowls etc- so you can eat inside if you want. And a good size of refrigerator.

Smaller room than what I expected but the balcony was a relief.

It is a family-owned small hotel in a perfect location to explore beautiful Chania. It is very close to the best beach in the city and the old centre. The hotel is very clean and calm, and the staff and owner are very helpful and humble.

I really loved my stay at Semeli studios. The location was just perfect. Just a short walk to the old town and at the beachfront with many local restaurants and bars options directly at the door. For a solo traveller is really convenient, you have your privacy in your nice and cozy studio but also the warm of a family guesthouse. The owners are very friendly and ready to help, answering all your questions and giving you tips. The studio has all you may need, even an umbrella to take to the beach! The bed also very comfortable. It couldn't be better. I would definitely stay here again in my next trip to chania. Thank you for everything Giorgios and family :-)

I had a problem with the water drainage in the shower and it was never fixed.

I could leave my luggage before checking in. Hosts were very friendly. Place is near the beach.

Probably nicer to book a front-facing studio. Kitchenette is a bit basic compared to many other places (two hotplates, fridge, sink - no oven or microwave). The dining table is on the balcony, which is in the sun (hot during the day). However, the flaws are abundantly compensated by the really nice people and the amazing position.

Incredibly helpful and friendly husband and wife team running this establishment, a cross between apartments and a hotel. Fantastic position, one minute from a long, sandy beach, ten minutes walk from the Old Chania Town. Comfortable bed. Shower cabinet very good, with a perspex door, so water doesn't go everywhere. Extra bonus for Italian-speakers: the host speaks excellent Italian, making communication very good.

We liked everything. Unfortunately there is no elevator and the apartments are up stairs which may be an issue for people with mobility issues.

Great location. The property is right near a lovely swimming beach. The hosts are very helpful and have good communication. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had an amazing sea view. The host lent us towels to take to the beach which was much appreciated!
