Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GeorgiaUnflrtunetly wifi didn't work at all. The stuff said that the reasin was windy and rainy weather. But in sunny weather wifi also was bad.
The stuff was nice, they tried their best for us to feel comfortable. They regularly asked if we wanted something and if they can do something for us. That was so nice.

BelgiumIt needs renovation. Some practical tips. The bedroom lacks sockets next to the bed (there was only one hidden behind the bed, which I had to move to find it and use it, and one on the opposite wall above the mirror, really high and unpractical for mobile phone charging). Perhaps a multi-socket behind the bed would do the trick. Everyone has mobile devices requiring charging. The balconies are too close to each other. There was no feeling of isolation and privacy. A plexiglass wall to separate the view between them would be perfect. The front door is an old wooden one, easy for someone to break in. But to be fair it isn't easy for someone to get inside the complex unnoticed. The balcony with an aluminium door offers no safety, since, if someone lifts the door, it can easily be open. I never left valuables inside when not there. I had to carry my laptop with me all the time. The refrigerator was moving every time I would open the door. It needs a support under one foot to make its surface even. There was no hanger for the shower phone in the bathroom. The curtain wasn't enough to prevent the water from flooding the rest of the bathroom. The aluminium chairs in other balconies were too noisy when moved, mine included. The wifi reception was good but the internet speed was low. I was told if I needed faster internet to request a different account at the reception. The area suffers from low internet speed, that I know. For its price I was satisfied. I hope the owners read my recommendations and they can provide few changes to the apartment.
The garden looked lovely and the swimming pool as well. its location made it easy to get to the main road by car, with a relatively easy parking compared to other places in Polychrono. Easy access to the center of the village too. The sea which I didn't visit was also in 5-7 mins distance. It was all in all quiet with a nice balcony view to the sea. Relaxing to stay at the balcony in the evening when it was no longer sunny. Considering that it was a last moment booking and its price I was pleased with their quick preparation and it corresponded to its price for value. There was also cleaning service and bed sheets changing after 3 days. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 1 person maybe even for 2.

North MacedoniaThe sheets were awfully short, they slid off the bed very easily and the mattresses were old and coarse. Most of the public beaches weren't very good, they were full of rocks and after a storm, jellyfishes. Not very child friendly. There are other beaches but you'd need to either walk or drive.
The pool, the position of the hotel, the terrace was nice and the beds were actually larger than indicated on the ad. There are parking spots all around the hotel. It's pretty removed from all the noise too. The WiFi was actually free, at least i don't remember paying for it.

GreeceFor 3 people, the room should be a bit bigger. Cleaning was done on the 5th day, but even then, only trash and sheets were changed, and the floor was not cleaned. The shower in the room did not have the curtain, so the whole bathroom became wet after showering.
Terrace and view were nice, staff was very nice and always there with a smile. They allow guests to stay on the pool even if you are leaving late on the last day.

SerbiaEven before coming to the hotel we had good communication with the host and he personally meet us when we arrived. Hotel is in a great location, just beside the main road and couple of minutes away from the beach. The room was tidy and spacious, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you might need during your stay. The pool was big, clean and there were always free sunbeds under umbrellas. Also the AC was free of charge. Even thought there were families with small children in apartments next to ours it was quiet.
