It is located on a busy road.

Excellent fresh breakfast. We only stayed overnight as en route to the ferry so chose this hotel as it is close to the airport after our late flight. I recommend the taxi the hotel suggests as we arrived very late so the taxi driver showed us to our room as it is unstaffed so late at night.

A couple of the rooms were quite small, but we were in Santorini to adventure and not spend a lot of time in the rooms. A couple of times the cook forgot to finish the orders of some members of the team, but overall the breakfast was great. It's not in the heart of one of the bigger villages, but it is quiet and has great parking and is perfect if you've rented a vehicle.

The manager was incredible. She helped us get a taxi, make reservations, and she had ample suggestions for activities. We rented ATVs and the parking on site was great! The rooms were so cute and comfortable and everyone loved lounging by the pool.

The room was super clean and spacious, and the staff were so lovely. Check-in was easy and breakfast was great too. Lots of options (yogurt, fruit, toast, eggs, coffee/tea) all made-to-order. Location is ideal if you have your own car, otherwise it’s about 20-30min walk to local restaurants and onto Fira. Taxis can be hard to book across Santorini but the staff helped me arrange an airport transfer after check-out which was so helpful! Overall highly recommend.

There is a construction across the hotel and it is dusty all the time it wasn’t possible to enjoy the pool outside. Also, it was because of the strong wind which was effective during my stay

Everything was perfect for us

We stayed for just the one night. As we flew to Santorini and did a one night stopover before travelling on to Naxos from the Port. Perfectly located for our needs. Great swimming pool area breakfast. The owner was a perfect host and helped to arrange a taxi for us. This would be a great base, centrally located on Santorini to explore the Island and come back to very comfortable accommodation. We had a Junior Suite Room 5 which was very spacious. Fantastic shower and comfortable bed. I’m sure we will be returning in the near future for a longer stay.

We got the #6 suite with its private jacuzzi overlooking the swimming pool's sitting area/open bar. Since the number of guests at any given time was limited (due to off-season), the "private" jacuzzi served its purpose. Otherwise, I doubt we would have as much privacy because the pathway from the pool to the reception (it is also the path from the parking area to the reception) runs straight in front of the jacuzzi with a ~5-foot wall separation. Apart from this, the location of the property was a bit far for walking to the heart of Santorini (>2 Km). There are public buses available, but again, the bus stop is at least 1.5 Km away, and it didn't make sense to walk that distance to pay for a bus ride that lasted less than 1 km. Besides, there are no eateries, restaurants, bars or cafes in immediate proximity (all more than a km walk). So for lunch or dinner, we needed to get to the city centre by booking cabs, which would cost around 15 Euros for a one-way trip during the daytime (slightly more during the night). However, this issue was partially due to our planning, as the majority of tourists on the island relied on renting a vehicle to get through the island during the off-season. However, since we didn't plan to rent a vehicle, the logistics during our trip were a bit of an issue.

Firstly, we liked how our host, Elona, promptly reached out after our booking confirmation. She assured us in chat and explained us in person on how navigate the islands what the major attractions are and so on, and as first-time visitors, that was really helpful. We really liked the facilities at the property and our suite. Since it was off-season, the property had fewer guests, making it more peaceful. We had a breakfast-inclusive package, and although the variety spread was limited, the food tasted good with ample quantity. The housekeeping staff tidied our room and was keen to leave us some extra towels and toiletries <3. Our suite also had a private Jacuzzi, which was great value for money.

The only short coming is transportation but we did not feel inconvenient at all.

The property itself was just fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. especially the room was spacious and clean. The lady in charge is so friendly and helpful. She offered us all requests and necessary information. Thank yu so much!!

These guys have been soooooo good to us. They went above and beyond and made our stay VERY special. We will never forget that. We recommend everyone to stay here. It's situated right in the heart of Santorini; it's easy to get to any location in a very short amount of time. If you can, rent the honeymoon suite ;)

A slight variation in breakfast would have been nice as we were there for 5 days. However the breakfast that we did have was delicious!!

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our holiday. Our host was exceptional and went above and beyond for us. The pool was perfect for us and the location was ideal for what we wanted.

I liked everything about this place , extremely friendly staff , great pool , fantastic hot tubs on the top , clean and very spacious rooms, set back from mine drag and quiet especially in the evening, about 10 minutes walk to the beach . If you want somewhere close to shops and the buzz of the island it might not be your first choice. For us we enjoyed that the apartments were quiet as we were not there for a party 😊 I’d recommend hiring a quad, which the office manager can arrange and exploring the island that way. As it’s quiet there isn’t much going on by the pool or hot tubs so a short walk to the garage to pick up drinks and snacks is needed

The property was quiet, clean and modern. Compared to the prices of other apartments/hotels it is very competitive. The office manager was lovely and always had a smile on her face. She was really helpful and always ready to help or offer advice when we asked for it. The breakfast, which was included, was simple but perfect for us as we wanted to spend our days exploring the island and trying out different places for food anyway. It’s also a ten minute taxi to fira, which was our favourite place on the island

SantoTerra unique suites in Kartarados, Santorini, was a delightful stay. Convenient location, modern suites with amenities, lovely pool and jacuzzi for relaxation. Tranquil atmosphere away from tourist spots. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great value for exploring Santorini. Recommended for a relaxing getaway on this enchanting island.

However, one aspect that fell short of my expectations was the breakfast. While the food served was of decent quality, the lack of variety and options was a disappointment. The menu seemed repetitive, and there were limited choices for dietary preferences or restrictions. I would have appreciated a wider selection of both hot and cold options, as well as more variety in the fruits and pastries offered. With a bit of creativity and attention to detail, the breakfast experience could have been significantly improved. Despite the breakfast shortcomings, the hotel's other outstanding qualities more than made up for it. The exceptional customer service and the hotel's prime location were undeniable strengths that contributed to a fantastic overall stay. The professionalism and attentiveness of the staff truly set this establishment apart, ensuring that guests feel valued and well-cared for. She truly made an effort to create a personalized experience, which greatly enhanced our stay. The hotel's location was absolutely perfect. Facilities were amazing, we loved the pool and jacuzzi especially at night! Situated about 10mins from Fira and 20 mins from Oia, it provided easy access to popular attractions, shopping areas, and dining establishments. The convenience of being able to explore the city by car to coming home to a comfortable room was a major highlight. Whether we wanted to visit some towns, enjoy a stroll by the beach or indulge in the local cuisine, everything was just a stone's throw away.
