Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyGood value for money. My staying in Santorini Camping&Hostel was really confortable. I went in a period where there weren't so many guests so it was very quite and relaxing. Rooms are small but the bed is confortable and there is a plug next to each bed. Toilets weren't so clean so this could be improved. The staff is nice and polite. The outside is really nice with a big swimming pool and cosy restaurant area where to chill and feel the summer vibe. Location is just perfect, less than 10 mins walking to the heart of Fira and to the bus station from where you can take buses to everywhere in the island. Very recommended if you are a younger travellever and you are looking for something cheap but still good in quality

United KingdomThe tent was a great concept and very affordable but in the heat (30 degrees C) it was a challenge to stay cool. The mosquitos were a real problem at night too, got bitten many times and didn’t sleep well. A mosquito net over the window frame would solve that problem. On one of the nights I slept on a chair by the pool to avoid this. Also need attention paying to the light fixing in the tent, ours didn’t work at all so had to use torches at night. There is a small self-catering ‘kitchen’ which really needs updating and modernising, and addition of some utensils and plates / cups. Prices at the bar were not consistent and card machine did not always work. Same also with the wifi.
What an amazing setting!! Loved the location so close to Fira. Loved the pool and bar area, and the shady trees around our tent. Bar and cafe staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Got great vibes. Other guests friendly and chatty too. Food and drinks at the bar were exceptional and well priced. Useful mini market shop in the complex where you can buy basic goods, camping equipment and other necessities Bathrooms were functional and cleaned every day.

AustraliaRooms were cramped but not unbearably so - it's a dorm so don't expect much in terms of space and privacy Toilet and shower in the same section in one of the bathrooms Steep hill to the city centre (not their fault just something to consider) Kitchen wasn't open as it was off season which was annoying but understandable
Close to the city centre Nice views and pool/eating area

AustraliaThe toilet closest to us was closed so had to walk a bit to go to the toilets
Stayed in the tent set ups and it’s exactly what you pay for. Nice bed got a really comfortable sleep and had no problems with toilets or showering. The pool was nice and having a mini mart as part of it was a bonus as you can’t drink the water on the island.

SerbiaWifi doesn't work in the dorms nor tents. They are charging swimming in pool per hour. Towels charged per day, if you stay longer you can pay a lot. Lockers are not available in rooms and charged per day also. There is no available plugs near upper beds in dorms.
Location is nice, and it is the best value you can get since everything is overpriced on the island. Rooms are decent, bathrooms can be a bit more clean. Food is ok, price is better than restaurants. Nice social area around swimming pool and camping area is amazing. We stayed both in rooms and tent, I can say private tent is better choise, there is enough space, there is nice garden around tents. But there is no other place for normal price to stay on the island, therefore hostel is the best option for budget travellers.

SpainThe bed was not comfortable, a very thin matress on top of a wooden bed, it felt very uncomfortable. Wifi did not reach the rooms area. For the price per night, I would expect a proper bed. Also camping music is a bit loud, so if you go to sleep early, better bring some earplugs.
Location was good, close to the city center. Also toilets were quite clean. Nice hot shower. It was one of the cheapest options I could find on the island. The room was very basic but it included sheets and blankets, which were clean and nice to have.

AustraliaThe pool was a little murky and stained my bathers.
Budget accomodation is hard to come by in Santorini but this place offers an affordable option in a good location. It is a short walk from the heart of Fira and offers a bar, cafe, pool, and private or dorm accomodation. My friend and I shared a twin bed "tent", and were expecting a literal tent, but it had tiled floor, a fan, a canvas window, a light, and we were able to lock it so it felt secure enough. The bathrooms are kept pretty clean and all the staff are nice. We were grateful for this accomodation as it allowed us to stay on Santorini within our budget and it had a fun atmosphere.

New ZealandYou get what you pay for. The only bad thing I could fault is the wifi kept dropping out and it only works in the restaurant/ common area
Good location short walk to Fira town The tents can be quite warm so had the fan on a lot and was quite noisy Good atmosphere with pool and bar and hot showers with good water pressure Afternoon receptionist was very helpful and friendly same with another staff member who drove me to Imerovigli You have to pay a 50 euro cash deposit when you arrive but you get this back when you leave.
