Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, decent breakfast, excellent wi-fi, big and tidy swimming pool, bakery and supermarket right next to the hotel, bus stop a few steps away, 8 minutes walk to the beach. The friendly staff did some services for me that I was not charged for. I was given a small souvenir on check out. Excellent hosts. Thank you very much Santa Irini Hotel staff. I had a great time and would love to come again.

Great time in Santorini, the hotel is located near to the bus stop, near the beaches,with nice view of the mountain. The host are very kind and discret people. I recommend it.

ItalyThe only thing was, the bathroom has some limitations (no window, slightly salty water), which is common to other hosting structures in Greece in any case.
One of my best stay in Greece: clean and silent room, good location (next to the supermarket and bakery, in front of the bus stop to Fira and max 10mins walk from Perissa beach), great swimming pool. The staff is very much welcoming and helped us in various circumstances. They also offered us the breakfast and gave us a present from Santorini, really appreciated.

United KingdomThe room was basic but decent enough, same can be said for the breakfast (but it's not a problem as you head to the bakery straight after!) But for the price, it is amazing and I will most certainly be back.
Our stay at Santa Irini was perfect! The staff are amazing, very friendly and accomodating. The facilities are excellent, swimming pool is large and was very quiet considering it was July. The location is great, 5 minutes walk to the beach, 1 minute from local bus stop, plenty of restaurants/bars closeby. The bakery which the hotel owns is one of the most popular in Greece (and the tastiest) so to have it so close by is great- we had freddo cappuccino and pastries every morning!

The room was spacious with a large terrace where we could enjoy the breeze and the smell of the sea. The pool was clean and spacious for swimming and relaxing on the sunbeds available. The staff was professional, kind, and supportive. The hotel is really value for money! Therefore, a good supermarket is only 5 meters from the hotel and a well-known bakery with delicious products is part of the hotel as well.

NorwayBus can be a bit difficult to estimate when going to port/airport, but that's a general Santorini issue. Owner will help with booking shuttle transfer for a fixed Santorini fee.
Same building as a beautiful old bakery and just beside a huge super market. Bus stop over the street. Classic greek style hotel - simple, but all you really need. Lovely big pool. Very helpful owner. Value for money.
