This stay was better than I had anticipated! Our room was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Having two pool options was also very nice. A special mention to Maria from the front desk who was very professional, helpful and friendly. She truely made our experience even better. She even helped us book a day cruise, Port transfers, and ATV rental. The location of the suites was close to the town centre approximately 10min walk. And overall I would highly recommend San Marino Suites, and thank them for a lovely stay.

I personally thought the prices in the restaurant were slightly higher than local average however you get what you pay for.

Thoroughly enjoyed the private pool and Katsaboo was perfect. Really friendly staff who create a warm and welcoming environment. Good location, only 10 minutes from the centre and 10 minutes to the airport via car/taxi.

We think that the room should have a small table and chairs inside as there is nowhere to sit together and have a drink (tea, coffee, alcohol). Despite having the loungers outside, there was nowhere to sit at a table together... unless... you go and sit in the restaurant directly oppositeand this is the biggest gripe. The restaurant/bar is situated outside our room, and on Friday night, it played music until 1am! It was a beautiful bar/restaurant but it is owned by a separate company and they charge for the sun loungers in the pool in frot of the restaurant (not the top pool lougers) So despite being lovely you felt unable to use this area during our stay... even sitting on our terrace, we felt that it was expected that we buy from their bar. We ate there once. It was pretty expensive. We asked if the milkshake had ice cream in it. We were told it did when it didn't. We got served a pretty poor milkshake and were charged €9 !!! I ordered a club sandwich which looked the part but didn't taste great. Just our experience, but we didn't go back. We loved the hotel, but the location around this pool area, despite having great views, was not very private nor appropriate for us. We didn't like the notices saying we couldn't eater drink our own food at either of the pool areas either.

We loved the location and the staff. Especially Maria on reception who was excellent. Maria was extremely helpful and informative throughout our stay. The location was away from the busy Fira Centre but only a short walk away. The quality of the room' and grounds was excellent. The rooms were clean and towels were changed when we wanted with plenty of toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great and provided good hot water. The loungers outside on the balcony were good also. We got good sunshine around the top pool and relaxed for one the days there for several hours.

I didn't like that you had to buy €25 (per person) worth of food or drink at the pool beside Katsaboo. I feel for hotel guests this should definitely have been discounted. Perhaps for people just going to the restaurant this price if fair

I liked the hotel and the room we stayed in which had a jacuzzi in it. The place was very clean and well maintained.

I disliked nothing about the property.

Loved everything about the property! We were in 117 down by the lower pool and restaurant with a view of the sea. The room itself was perfect! And the best shower ever!! The staff were always very helpful & friendly! The restaurant, Katsaboo, was beautiful with amazing food & staff. We met the chef! She is very talented! Location in Fira was perfect for us!

The suite we had was beautiful overlooking pool. The staff we met were Brilliant including Anna at Katazaboo! She is an asset to the restaurant. The reception staff arranged for our bedroom to be decorated for my birthday! They carried our bags down to our room !

There was no teas or coffee in the room, but there was a kettle. Would be nice to have some available for guests.

Location was great, very close to the Fira. Staff were amazing, made you feel at home, very warm and welcoming! Food at Katsaboo was delicious, I enjoyed every meal and every drink! Thank you guys for an amazing experience! The room was spacious, good view and cleaned daily.

Many things in aque marina villa were beautiful, but not everything was practical. In the bathroom were no hooks and shelfs to put things.

Maria was very nice and she helped us as much as possible, everything was clean. I think it is a wonderful place to stay in hot weather when the pool is warmer.

First and foremost the staff at the property, Marina and Maria in particular were exceptional. Both went above and beyond for me and my daughter and no request was an issue. The property itself is beautiful, the rooms are spotlessly clean, amenities are outstanding and in both rooms (Aqua Marine Villa and Cave pool suite) there was everything you needed including kettle, hairdryer, iron etc. The accommodation really made our trip to Santorini it exceeded our expectations and I will 100% return.

A hotel where you can watch the sunrise, located in the town of Fira, a short distance from the center, with parking. There is a Greek restaurant at the back of the hotel with good seafood meals, but a little pricey. The family was more than impressed with the hotel.

Not a negative comment, but it would be great to offer breakfast buffet, I would be willing to pay extra in the room’s fee to have it. Of course it offers a la cart breakfast, but in this case I prefer to have breakfast outside the hotel.

Amazing boutique hotel, very close to Fira, yet away from the noise of the center. It’s my second stay in the hotel, and i found it even better than the first some years ago. The stuff is very polite and eager to help. The price is very affordable, at least off season. Definitely recommend it!

We struggled to decide on a hotel in santorini as there was so much choice. We found the San marino suites and decided it was the right choice for us. After having a fall at the airport the hotel transfer took us to the emergency room and left a number to call him back to pick us up. We arrived at the hotel very late and were so impressed at the room being beautifully decorated and very spacious. The next morning we explored the area around our room located next to katsabo (we were worried about noise but could not hear it in our bedroom) the area was lovely and clean with a very calming vibe. We went to reception and were greeted by an amazing friendly staff member who was so concerned about my health, the check in process was simple and we were offered advice on extras the hotel offered including a jeep tour and a boat trip, we opted to book both. The jeep trip was taken by George who was so friendly and informative about the history of the island. It was so nice to see his passion for santorini and he was telling us facts but making it more personal by including anecdotes from his own family. If you only do one thing book this! It is worth every penny and you get to see amazing places. The boat trip was from santorini star and wr opted for the sunset trip. This was amazing and the Staff on board were again so knowledge and explained stories and history from various points along the route. It also includes hotel pick up and drop off which is very handy. The hotel is about 6 minute walk from fira centre (to get there is uphill) but it has lovely views along the way. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone from the beautiful rooms to the amazing staff! I honestly can't thank you enough for our stay. Both women on reception and the 2 drivers we had (sorry I'm so bad at names) were amazing and constantly checked I was ok, we truly felt sad to leave.
