Only one caution. This place is very difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The driver drops you off about 1,500 steps from the unit. The path winds up and down to the unit with cobblestones and uneven stone stairways.

Loved the design of this cave house. Stayed really cool in the heat of the day. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom with shower. Lovely veranda to view the Oia sunset. There is a very good restaurant steps away. The owner met us with the key and walked us to the unit. He was wonderfully helpful and shared a lot of the Santorini history with us.

Oia is a busy place at sunset- thankfully- this property is on the outer edge of the activity. Despite the sunset crowds- a peaceful spot.

A peaceful and comfortable Cave home- with a dependable sunset view every evening. Never sleep better away from home 😌. We appreciated Stamatis’ ready help upon our late arrival and departure.

I had the most enchanting experience at the Casa Sigala in Oia. The location was absolutely divine, perched on the edge of the caldera, allowing us to witness the breathtaking sunset right from our balcony. The service was impeccable, with an owner that went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. More than that, he had arranged porters to carry our luggages. But what truly set this hotel apart was the front-row seat it provided to the mesmerizing Santorini sunset. Each evening, we found ourselves on our balcony, watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting a palette of colors across the sky that words can hardly capture. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I'm grateful to have shared it at this remarkable cave house . If you're seeking a place where location, service, and natural beauty come together in perfect harmony, this is the place to be. Highly recommended

The bed in the main room was only a double and we found it quite hard. We still managed to sleep but it’s good information to know.

Location, location, location! The outdoor area was fantastic for the much anticipated sunset. The Lioyerma pool bar was a short walk away and a great place to cool off and have a cocktail.

We loved everything, make sure you are in good shape to climb the steps and you are not afraid of heights LOL... the views are absolutely stunning!

Location, sunset view, big and traditional apartment, it’s a cave house with loft. It was our second time there and Casa Sigala remain one of the best place to stay in Oia. Let me add a mention to the housemaid, very kind and professional, she helped us with our luggage and allow us to use the toilet after checkout

We have very little to dislike about this host or property as we LOVED ALL of it. . Our teen daughter was frustrated by unstable intrrnet.. but that is a teenager. So internet not so good for a working vacation but good enough for this perfect little slice of Oia. One note: For a place where so much needs to be imported for the tourist season into Santorini, we found the lovely toiletries in their little bottles to be wasteful. If there was a larger dispenser for the shampoo and conditioner, then there be less plastic waste, of which there is a lot on Santorini due to the need to only drink bottled water. But this has nothing to do with this particular property. It is elegant to have those really nice toiletries and they provide good memories if you take the empty bottles. We really no dislikes at all.

The host, Katerina, was lovely and VERY helpful. She met us at the travel agency office and then guided us through the narrow alleys and steps to Casa Sigala. Katerina then showed us a few maps and later helped us find a way to arrange a snorkling trip. The location was perfect for out family of three. The rooms were lovely, including the nest room upstairs. The view of the famous Santorini sunsets was a partial view. But the view of all the people piled at the old castle, boats below,, and crowds lined on the narrow path in front of the Casa Sigala were just as wonderful to watch. We felt very fortunate to have found this location because it is very quiet and peaceful in this part of Oia. It is well located in terms of the mini market and finding restaurants. It is not in the super fancy section of Oia, but ALL the views are magical. We were very happy with our stay.

We were told upon booking that the hosts would meet us once we got to Oia, which did not happen, but it was not my first time in Oia, so I was able to manage to get to the property without issue. The beds could have been more comfy (at least the twin beds).

Perfectly located in Oia, without being too far down the cliff. It's very spacious and has wonderful views and quiet in the evening. It was perfect for the one night stay we had in Oia. The outdoor seating and lounge chairs were perfect for the mornings and lounging in the evening. The hosts booked us a taxi to collect us from the ferry terminal, which was great. Wifi worked great and having the smart TV was great for our down time. They were able to hold our luggage while we explored on our last day, since we had a late flight.

Having one bathroom was difficult, but we knew that before we arrived. The shower head did not work well, but everything else was good.

The location was perfect. Excellent view and fit our family of 5 nicely. The host was great. At first, the communication was slow, but when we did speak, he was very helpful. I highly recommend the property. The property looks better in person than in the photos.

it is quite far from the nearest bus or taxi or car not for elderly or for some with luggages as you will have a nightmare to reach and get back
