Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe location is very close to one of the busiest squares in Rhodes, but it is really very quiet most of the time. One night there was quite loud music being played much closer, but it did not go on too late and did not disturb our sleep.
We were greeted by our hostess with a small liqueur and discovered water and wine left in our fridge for future use which was so thoughtful. The location was excellent - an easy walk to all the main sights of Rhodes Town and only 10 minutes to the bus station to visit further afield. Our hostess was very helpful and knowledgeable about recommendations and how to get to different places. The breakfast was wonderful! We loved the different local delicacies offered together with yoghurt, fruit, and honey. The room was comfortable and clean, and the shower very efficient. The air conditioning was also good. Loved it all!

United KingdomMake sure you read the instructions on how to find the property which will be sent to you ahead of time, as it is tucked away down a side street. However, the instructions provided were very clear.
Beautiful place, a courtyard tucked away out of the hustle and bustle of the Old Town however right in the centre of everything. The perfect location to explore the town and nip back for a break when needed. Decor in the room was stunning. Breakfast was amazing!

United KingdomActually, it is not a very negative thing but if you do not close the windows you might hear music from the nightclubs around the hotel. Still, the room has good air conditioning, so you can quickly fix this problem by closing the windows and turning on the air conditioning.
The location is great, just in the centre of the old town. The hotel host Dimitra was so helpful and tried her best to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as it could be. We even hugged her while leaving Rodi, it felt like we were leaving from one of our relatives' houses :) Breakfast was very good. Can't say enough positive things. Highly recommend it.

Rodi is a little haven of peace in the medieval city. We keep coming back because everything from Dimitria's welcome, the lovely room, the historic surroundings, her delicious breakfast (fresh coffee, yogurt, fruit and honey, freshly made bread, little cheese, tomato and olive pitta slices and omelette if you wish..all included). All are perfect. It's an easy 5 min walk from the Marina Gate and Dimitria will give you directions.

NetherlandsVery nice and neat place to stay. The building is from mediaeval times, restorated so nicely! The hotel locates at the very center of the old town. Although it's at the center, it locates in a silent tiny street, so we were so thankful for it. :) The room is very clean, every day it is cleaned up. The breakfast is enough and delicious, served with local products&tastes, my fav was yogurt with honey! The owner, Dimitra, is so kind and similing. She also gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants and beaches. I would definitely recommend here!

Rodi is an absolute gem of a place. A hidden treasure. It's right in the centre of the old town but you feel so quiet and tranquil in this beautiful oasis. The place is comfortable and clean and has everything you need. Dimitra, the host, is absolutely delightful and so helpful. She makes you feel at home right away and cooks a mean breakfast, catered to your needs. I couldn't recommend more highly.

We had a lovely stay at Rodi. Dimitra was easy to communicate with and helped us with good recommendations, easy check in and extra things like beach towels and wine glasses. The place is renovated while keeping the original stones and structure which we really liked. We loved everything, the spacious shower, the wooden floors, the generous place to put our stuff and the rich and tasty breakfast. The small green quiet inner courtyard was great to sip a glass of wine at the end of the day. The location is in the old town but very close to a main gate (which in itself is ten minutes walk from the main bus station and just across the road to the colona harbor where there’s many ferries to other destinations) so it was easy short walk with our big suitcase. Though the central location, the place is very quiet.

United KingdomThere was nothing not to like about this place. People staying should be mindful that past the town walls there are no cars so you have to walk with your cases to Rodi. It is not far but you need to carry cases across cobbled streets.
Everything! There was nothing to dislike about Rodi. Really loved the small quaint nature of the accommodation with small enclosed garden and personal touch by the owner in preparing breakfast and then leaving you to it with access to the kitchen. I keep telling everyone I speak to how wonderful it was.
