Front of house lack of service and friendliness. Need to smile and accommodate your guests and great them warmly and put out fires when needed or infront of other guests, not give the manager is not here, bland, I don’t care face! We saw it a few times with other complaining guests and it wasn’t good service! Breakfast buffet is average compared to others!

It was a beautiful old hotel with magnificent presence and central location Zoe is amazing - need more of her!

The staff at the reception, while friendly and helpful, lacked experience. They need to learn better how to deal with stress and work under pressure. Aside from that, the hotel is perfect, chic, and classy. The breakfast was very good too.

The concierge, Zoë, concierge excellent assistance and advice. She is always on top of the situation and knows perfectly well how to communicate clearly with the guests. Very professional and experienced. She is a 10/10.

The hotel has a luxury feel. Very attentive staff, beautiful room with balcony and perfect view. Perfect location. Transportation to ferry port and help with luggage. Exceptional breakfast, eaten on terrace, breakfast staff both waiters and chefs alike were attentive and personable. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. A very special experience.

The pool was cold and sad. The buffet breakfast wasn’t good. Cold eggs, cold bacon, cold sausages and over cooked and cold vegetables. The food in general is expensive and not amazing at dinner.

The hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. Old world charm, with a heavenly view over the sea. The staff were so kind. Best all was Zoe, the concierge - who went above and beyond to help us. We can’t wait to come back!

We liked it all. The hotel is a gem in a great location. We were welcomed the moment we entered the lobby. Zoe and all members of staff were very friendly and obliging. We felt very cared for. The breakfast, included in the price, was excellent and served with a smile. Hospitality at its best.

Spa could be more premium. Procedure + technicians are wonderful. However, table bed and linens were outdated and worn. Did not align with the ambiance of rest of hotel. I have visited many spas, so speaking from point of experience.

Beautiful architecture and ambiance in the center of town. Great breakfast and opportunity for late night drink. Staff was so accommodating, even assisting in lugggage to the ferry and any other needs.

We would have appreciated mesh panels on the window as given the amount of mosquitos, without them we could not open the window.

The main hall could be refreshed and the artworks from the gallery could be change on more Classic one which suits more the hotel. The staff in the restaurant is also not schooled enough

The room had a few faults in the bathroom which were quickly fixed but the electronic room keys kept failing which after a while became very tedious. The TV had one English Channel (BBC World) and no access to Netflix / streaming services which for a 5 Star hotel is inexcusable these days.

Wonderful building, excellent & helpful staff and a nice quiet & spacious room overlooking the garden. The breakfasts were also very good although some of the waiters struggled with some of our (simple) orders. Took us and our luggage to the ferry terminal after check out in an electric buggy. The (English) Concierge was super helpful in advise te beaches, things to do and eating out.
