Very relaxing resort with spacious rooms and perfect beach. Staff very helpful. Food was delicious at both of the restaurants. Will definitely visit again.

Breakfast with little variety, starts late. A lack of some basic stuff in the kitchen. Although the stuff was happy to help when asked it would be better if it was well equiped beforehand

The resort is about a 10 min drive to the nearest restaurant. When we showed up the restaurant at the resort was closed. It was a bit unexpected. Would have been nice to know so we could prepare.

The breakfast was fresh and homemade. What a wonderful treat.

Breakfasts had little variety, the same every day. The furniture in the kitchen has already worn out a bit. No store nearby.

If I have to find sth negative then there was a bad smell coming from the toilet in the common area but this was sth that affects a very small area of the hotel so it wasn’t really an issue

Room too small. (This was because booking.com has transmited the wrong quantiy of persons), the two kids were ignored. The hotel management thought that we will be just a couple. Next time I will call directly. No Seaview from the room whereas at the booking.com description, was clearly written with Seaview.

Very nice breakfast in a superb spot!, Nice restaurant with creative dishes, and the quality of the products was very good! Congrats to the chef. Nice beach, and big practicality with the kids, because the sea was very close. All staff was very friendly!

We were initially perplexed by the music at the beach, but we were given sun loungers right at the very end away from the bar and were not disturbed at all. In fact, we found it to be a very peaceful and relaxing place to be.

First of all the people. This is a magical place, superbly run by Costas, the manager. As a result, all his team, from the bar staff to the lovely cleaning ladies, are professional, but warm and friendly. A special shout out to the delightful Marina at front desk, who went above and beyond for us, even driving to the nearest pharmacy, 30 minutes away, to pick up essential medical equipment. The beach is beautiful. The water gorgeous. The accommodation is comfortable and has everything you need. We had one of our best ever meals in Greece at the restaurant.

Not a lot of kitchen equipment. Playground could use some love. I am not sure whether there is a way to succesfully evict those spiders that love the playground as much as the children do... obviously you go to Kea to be close to nature, so not a biggie.

We (family with 2 children aged 2 and 5) stayed at Porto Koundouros for a week at the end of May. Villa was clean, with very nice touches, large private "front yard" with table, hammock (kids loved that). Hosts and the entire crew at Porto Koundouros were absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was greek/continental with a local touch (honey/ jam), exceeded our expectations and was always plenty, ie more than we could possibly eat. We spent every day at the excellent beach which was just right for our small kids. Sandy with occasional pebbles, (some rocks easily to be avoided) not too steep, waves size good for kids to have fun and parents not to worry. We ordered food and snacks to the beach, and prepared most additional meals in the villa's kitchen. Bar and restaurant are good quality, obviously not really a "budget" place. On site there is a small playground with some slides and swings. We will come back.

“bed” for daughter was actually very hard couch in living room. no black out curtains to keep streetlights from shining in windows all night. kitchen has very limited utensils ( could not cut a watermelon with no cutting board or knife )

although the location is very beautiful, bear in mind it’s good to have your own means of transport as It is a bit far from Ioulida (the main village) and there is no super market around. we did not have a car and the staff asked us to make a list of our groceries and they provided everything to us the same day which was absolutely great :)

THE Kea destination! If you’re looking for a hotel on the water with excellent service and happy faces, book it now! Friendly staff and homey accommodation in a quite secluded area. The beach was so clean and dreamy with crystal water and perfect for younger kids.
