Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI dont think any of the things I mention here are things that we didn't like, but rather good things to know as I was travelling with my 67 year old mum. Good things to know: The water at petri suits is salty water. So after a shower, ensure you lather on some body cream (which is provided). The location from the hotel to the main restaurants/beach walking is a good 10- 60 mins long, depending on how far you go up the beach, of course. We opted to get a fun train. There is a bus stop close by. However, that bus only passes there 4 or 5 times a day. From the airport we took two buses, one to Thira and then one to Perivolos and then a 17 mins walk. Petri Suits do offer transfers, so we did take that on our return to the airport. This is recommended. You will need a car if you want to explore Santorini. Thira, Oia and other places as transportation there is few and taxis are expensive. Kittens: When we arrived, there were approximately 7 adorable, friendly, and playful kittens. But if you are allergic or simply don't like them, this could be an issue. One day, they were not around, and we missed them.
We had a lovely welcome from Manos, who was on sight and ready to help with anything we needed. He was super friendly and very professional. Petri Suits was very clean and well organised, which was great. The sun lounges were fantastic, some in the shade and others in the sun. The room itself (6) was clean, well put together, and modern decor, and we had robes and slippers waiting for us on arrival. We had a super king bed and a slightly larger single bed, which was perfect. Both mattesses were very comfortable and pillows too. We had room cleaning service every day, which was great too. A free bottle of water for the first day and tea and coffee F.O.C for the rest of our stay. There is a mini bar stocked with other bits and a menu to inform the prices. The shower has a rain shower head and a hand-held shower hose and head, which is great. There were bottles of complimentary body wash and body cream. The location is very close to a mini supermarket and a bus stop. A fun train passes right outside the hotel, which you can wave down, and it takes you up and down all along the beach front. It's great, plays a bit of music, and you choose where to get on/off. This is very handy and only 8€ each. It's super easy to hire a car from Petri suits, too. We decided to hire a car for 24 hrs, and Manos helped us, and within a few hours, we had our ride. Breakfast was delicious. I can see they try to cater to everyone. Tea/ coffee, orange juice, and grapefruit juice are always available. Foods changed every day, but always available were eggs and mini croissants, sliced breads, as well as a selection of pastries and delicious Greek food.

United KingdomI am not a cat person and that is the only thing i was not happy about but they are part of the Greek culture.
The property was pristinely clean with daily housekeeping. We were greeted with robes and slippers and our luggage was carried from the gate to our villa. The staff are so friendly and patient and informative.

United KingdomNot much not to like - maybe the salty shower and tap water but you can't have it all!!
Have already left a detailed review but suffice to say this is a great little hotel which is close to the beach where there are restaurants, water sports & bars etc. It's quiet and not overcrowded at the hotel, but you can find a lot of people at the beach area if you want a bit more 'life'. The hotel pool is quite adequate and they have a plunge pool right next to it. Water temp of the pool is perfect - we stayed at a more expensive hotel for our last night and although there were a few 'luxury' differences, the expensive hotel's pool was a little too cold & would have benefitted from having the 'edge' taken off the chill!

United KingdomThe shower and tap water is slightly salty which didn't agree with my daughter's sensitive skin (rather drying) and we would have loved to have 'blended ice' in our cocktails!! There are two rooms with hot tubs on the balcony which resemble fish tanks and anyone at the pool can see you in the tub .... not important for us really, but if you are going on your honeymoon, it's worth mentioning that you want a PRIVATE hot tub ... not room 11 or 12!! :-)
What a little gem of an hotel! We were so lucky to have discovered it and enjoyed a total of 5 nights during our stay in Santorini. Close enough to walk to the beach, with a mini-market close by, the rooms are large and airy (we stayed in two different rooms as needed 2 extra nights to our original booking ... one with a private jacuzzi on the balcony and one regular room with balcony - both had sea views). The mini bar is stocked with drinks but has enough room to put a few of your own items in! The staff are fantastic - very friendly helpful and reception is 24hr! The pool isn't huge but big enough to swim in, float around on or just refresh from the heat. Sunbeds and room beds all extremely comfortable and there's even a hammock to chill out on! We also had a private sunbathing mattress next to our hot tub, which was lovely when the wind was strong as it protected us from being blown around!! We ordered salads by the pool at lunch time, which were good value & delicious and Aldi (who works in the bar) is always around to make refreshments and deliver them to you :-). They have resident kittens which are hilarious and love chasing the bougainvillea flowers around. Lovely to see cats which are treated well but don't encroach on your holiday! We enjoyed the fact that most other guest seemed to be from Italy & France etc, as we like to hear different languages when we are away. Everywhere is kept very clean and you can even flush paper down the toilets here - fantastic; never knew it would feel like such a luxury (lol). If you have a car it's easy to get everywhere and you can park right outside the hotel. If not, you can walk to the beach where there are loads of restaurants and bars and get a taxi to the harbour and other restaurants etc. There really isn't anything not to like about this little hotel and we would definitely go back if we return to the island.

Slovakiawe were little dissapointed with the breakfast. it would be nice to have an actual coffee machine, fresh vegetables and more options to choose from.
I loved the peaceful locality and small capacity of the establishment-the perfect place to stay if you are looking for quiet and peace,no loud music and parties nearby in the evening. Yet, restaurants and bars on the beach are aprox 7minute walk from the hotel. The room was amazing - spacious, bed comfy, bathroom beautiful. but the true highlight of the hotel was the staff - so friendly, proactive and professional -they treated us like family. at the hotel was also kittens who made sure we have no spiders outside the room- super cute plus :)

RomaniaThe location - the road to the beach is short, but you need to walk on the street and watch out for cars, there is no sidewalk,no shade and no street illumination during the night. In addition, the surrounding area looks like deserted.
The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and they have supportive and helpful staff. The pool area is a big plus. A lot of good restaurants on the beach, 7-10 min away from the hotel.

Excellent hotel. Very clean, boutique, modern rooms. Staff were fantastic. Out of the way of how hectic Oia can be, with the beach and fantastic beach bars a short walk away. Having said that, so easy to get to Oia and explore there (we rented a car). Good breakfast included and excellent pool area.

United KingdomNothing, if I’m being honest.
We arrived Santorini a lot earlier than check in time and our pick up was swift as well from the airport. Jet lagged and all, we had our room prepared two hours earlier than schedule just to allow us rest properly after the long hours of travel. Thanasis was very gracious and kind. The room was sparkling. Kudos to housekeeping! The bed and layout of the room was comfortable. Our comfort garden view was peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was filling and the guy who was in charge, had such a smily/welcoming aura. Total loved our stay at a Petri Suites!
