The location and view from the balcony were fantastic; there were 3 tavernas within a 5 minute walk; and Maria/ her son could not have been more helpful, arranging transfers both ways from the port as well as sorting a hire car direct to Pension Votsi.

The location and view are perfect, we had a sea view room and it was just like the picture. It is a short walk to the beach and several tavernas in the village. The room was very clean and the area is quiet. The owners are extremely helpful offering lifts to and from the port and lots of advice for your holiday.

Only that there are lots of stairs in Votsi but definitely improved the fitness !

From start to finish we loved our stay - picked up from the ferry to a warm welcome and special Alonissos cake on check in complete with recommendations on travelling around and restaurants . Our room was delightful with the best Greek bathroom I have seen with lovely toiletries and power shower . We didnt want to leave our balcony with harbour views and very comfortable sunbeds but its only a few minutes to a gorgeous swimming cove and lovely local eateries . The local bus goes from the end of the road to a different beach every day and is super easy to use and it is around a 20 minute walk into Pattitiri if you are looking for a wider choice of restaurant . Thank you very much Maria and family we had the most relaxing holiday ever !

The owners are very friendly and the view is amazing. It is really quite but everything mandatory like a Gas station or a great supermarket are just around the corner. If you need anything (want to book a boat trip, information where to go or where the eat,...) they are loving to help you out. Awsome place to enjoy the Island. We will come back.

In all honesty there isn't anything we didn't like. Maybe a small note is that as for many places in Alonissos, there is only public parking, but we were always able to find a parking spot outside the Pension.

We chose to stay in Votsi as it's roughly in the middle from all major locations. Pension Votsi was by far the best accommodation for the price. Very comfy room, large balcony with amazing view and two of the most friendly and helpful hosts I have ever met. They gave us a map marking all the hot spots and beaches, made their recommendations for bars and restaurants and where to rent a boat too.

How wonderful are the people running Pension votsi !! Really beautiful human beings that care and always smiling. They even washed two full runs of washing for us and did not charge. The grandma made us feta pies to take to the beach. Just fab !!

Beautiful family run hotel with amazing views of Votsi harbour. Maria and her family were so warm and friendly and went over and above to make our stay as enjoyable as possible - even doing some washing for us when needed! They collected us and dropped us at the port when arriving and leaving and advised on good places to visit such as the best beaches and restaurants. The room was cleaned everyday and they were always on hand if we had any questions or needed any help. The view of the harbour was even better than expected. The hotel is in a perfect location with a few restaurants and cafe bars in Votsi and only a 20 minutes walk to Patitiri. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return one day. Huge thanks to Maria and family for making us feel so welcome!

Like many places in Alonissos there are some steep steps around. Apart from that just about perfect.

Overlooking the little harbour and beach of Votsi, Pension Votsi has a fabulous location with great views and catches the sun all day. There are 4 restaurants within easy reach and some lovely walks to some outstanding beaches nearby. The outside area of our room had lovely comfy sunbeds as well as table and chairs with a great view. The room is large and comfortable with a/c and a powerful roof fan. Beds were very comfortable and the room was refreshed each day. Our room had an excellent power shower. Our hosts were simply marvellous picking us up from the port and taking us all the way to the Old Town for our next stay. They even carried all our luggage for us- very friendly and caring at all times. We loved our stay in Pension Votsi and we recommend them highly.

Pension Votsi is in a fantastic location overlooking the sea and picturesque harbour. The room has a large balcony with sun loungers and shaded area. The room itself is also a good size and the bed very comfortable. The room has air conditioning and a fan. There is a small kitchen area where we made several meals. Bathroom and shower also excellent. The owners are very friendly and were always accessible, including collecting us from the port and returning us there after our stay as well as helping with our luggage. Also very helpful in providing advice about beaches and places to visit. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

location is excellent with access to tavernas and beach and the views are just stunning. The family are truly lovely and picked us up from the port and took us back when we’re ready to move to the next island. We were also given a carafe of wine made by the grandad too. The suites with a sea view are so roomy and luxurious. it’s worth getting one of these if they are available although the other rooms are still lovely.

The room was a great size and well equipped with every we needed. Maria and her family were exceptional. They were on hand to make sure we had everything we needed and had plenty of advice about how to spend our time effectively. There was a bottle of family made wine waiting for us and the room was cleaned daily. The balcony was a great place to sit and have breakfast while watching the boats come and go in the harbour. The location was great. Half an hour away from the town and within 10 minutes by car to a great selection of beaches. Fantastic visit!

We had a rather small bathroom en suite with our beautiful bedroom, for our final three nights, as the owners had kindly upgraded us at no charge, to a more generous room for the earlier part of our stay.

Pension Votsi is family run and the owners are delightful, welcoming, helpful hosts. There are four or five tavernas very nearby and a lovely little beach just below the Pension. The place is spotlessly clean and we were met at the port on arrival and dropped back at the end of our fortnight, happy and sorry to be leaving lovely Alonissos and our hosts at Pension Votsi. It is fantastic value for money. We are already planning our next trip!

Nothing, it was beautiful!

Absolutely everything! We had a beautiful apartment overlooking Votsi harbour with the most stunning view! The apartment was spacious with a large bedroom area, separate kitchen and bathroom. The veranda had two sunbeds, table and chairs and was a real suntrap. Maria and her family were excellent hosts and really friendly and helpful, picking us up from the harbour when our ferry came in and arranging a motorbike to hire too. The room was cleaned every day and we were given a bottle of their family home made wine. The apartment is a short walk to the quay and there were two great tavernas nearby. Votsi is a 5 minute drive from Pattiri and is an excellent base to holiday from. We loved it, thank you!

There was nothing not to like!

Fantastic location overlooking the small harbour at Votsi with a lovely balcony with chairs and recliners, spacious room with comfortable bed and well appointed adjoining kitchen. The bathroom had a space age shower. The owners met us at the port, drove us to the accommodation and took us back to the port on leaving. All very helpful and friendly... a family run business.

Bathroom is small, but the shower is superb. Not a lot they can do about the size and it is more than made up by the excellent shower and view from room.

What makes this hotel is the people. The lady on reception who was so nice and caring and I believe her son who was full of suggestions of where to go. Room is simple but the view from the balcony is amazing. The area is quiet, there is a great bakery down the road for breakfast items. We loved it here and would certainly visit again.
