Lady at the reception was not very friendly. The moment we got there she asked when are we leaving the next day. She also wasnt flexible when we wanted to change the hour of our transport to the port( please have cash ready, no credit cards are accepted). Cuttlery was also not very clean. Its a completely good for a short stay but we didnt feel very welcomed.

Nice views and rooms. Strongly recommend a car hire.

Bizarrely, there was a kitchenette with fridge and sink but no kitchenware. We had to ask for a kettle, plates, bowls, cups, cutlery. Initially, they said this was not possible. I was very upset because we had chosen self catering to keep costs down. Eventually they lent us a kettle and some cups, one plate, one knife and some bowls. One of the air cons was broken. Busy road with no footpath to walk into the village at night.

The view, the pool, location close to scuba diving. I slept very well. Super clean. Bus stop outside.

The taxi company they use are taking advantage of tourist. It is out of their control though.

Break fast was good, well presented. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Felt very much at home. Will recommend strongly. It was like home away from home.

just beside the Villa there is the scooter rental company (which belong to the same family) which easily can provide any kind of lift. The position is ok but you must need a ride to enjoy the island.

There was no WiFi in my room, they blamed the wind but this is not true. The router was not there to deliver WiFi. When I went out in the evening around 10pm to use the WiFi by the villa bar near the pool I turned the light on in the bar so I could see as it was dark. The owner of the villa came out and shouted rudely at me that the bar was shut and then turned the light off. As a lone traveller I thought this was poor. It was clear I was not drinking and sat alone in the corner. I was left isolated in the dark with no option than to return to my room. The location was not as near to a beach or town as I had hoped. The 20 minute walk to the gorgeous town (I am quick walker) was along a main road and there were not pavements for most of the way which was dangerous. But the sunset views of the peninsula walking back from town were spectacular and worth the risk! There were lots of pretty spots locals and tourists were stopping off at for nice moments and pictures. I felt slightly exploited with taxis the villa arranged for me, charging way over the local price for small journeys. I did say the journey was closer but they claimed not, charging lots for a journey of 5 minutes. Unfortunatley there was no bus stop close. After travelling to Santorini before I was slightly disappointed as service was fairer in the bigger resorts.

Welcoming staff were lovely and very helpful. The villa was in immaculate condition and my room was recently refurbished to a high standard. The pool was pretty and the views around were lovely. This is an ideal location if you are looking for some peace and quiet. It might be better for couples or small groups than lone travellers looking for a short stay.

I haven't appreciated the fact that inside the bathroom had only two small bottles (one shampoo and one douche), for two persons. In addition the douche bottle was like someone made a refill with water inside. The reception has been informed. Some more efforts in the cleaning of bathroom its a must. Wifi also not so good.

The villa it's self is quite fine. Rooms sea view have view at the sea but nothing else so special. Swimming pool was clean and nice and not busy at all. A/C also was working very good as we arrived during a hot day. You need a transportation (car, moto etc if you would like to move with no issue)

the floor was very dirty and my feet got really dirty when walking barefoot in the room. the shower wasn’t working properly and the water was spraying around.

Location - you will absolutely need a car. No WiFi in rooms. For that reason alone, wouldn’t stay here again.

Nothing bad but there where small rust stains on the towels, room was only cleaned every other day. Sadly the shower water was cold on our first day but the next days it took a few minutes to warm up, so it wasn't a big problem!

the location is a little out of the way from Fira but the price reflected that. nearby town is 5 min away and good food so not much of a complaint.

Location is really bad if you don't have a car, buses don't really stop in the hotel like they mentioned.

The hotel is nice and very clean, very quiet and the sunset is great from this spot.

No big deal, but in a perfect world the hotel might eventually put up some trees or hedges in front of the wall facing the highway. Nobody wants to see cars whizzing by. And it would make hanging by the pool nicer :)

Don't expect a crazy earth-shattering view of the Calderon from here... while your room might face in that direction you definitely won't have anything like the views you'll find from Oia at sunset. And the place has a motel (with big pool) vibe, rather than a hotel. But the owner was very nice, pleasant and relaxed. And while the hotel isn't luxe and won't change your life, it's super close to the port (if you're arriving by boat). So it's very convenient if you're on a ferry that's getting in pretty late or night, or if you don't need or want to be right smack in the middle of Fira or Oia, but need a place that's close enough to everything for a day or two. We actually stayed twice, and one time we arrived by boat at 4:30 AM... and the owner agreed to skip check-in and just left our room open for us, so we could go straight to bed. Breakfast isn't included, but it's actually pretty nice and cheap. Also: the quad/scooter/car rental place right next door is very convenient and we rented from them without a problem. Not cheap, but the people who run it are very nice, and it wasn't a complicated or difficult process in any way. (Just note that we eventually realized that it's not an accident that it's there; the car place is owned by the son and daughter-in-law of the hotel owner.)

bus times are not reliable and without own transport it's hard to get around. (but there is a rental company next door). there was no laundry service.

the swimming pool was nice, but not deep. the rooms are nice. there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel as well as a restaurant with beautiful caldera view.
