The air conditioning switched off at night automatically. Would have preferred it to stay on unless we manually switched it off. Woke up to a hot room during the night

The ventilation in the bathroom is quite noisy. It is turned on with the lights so you cannot turn it on/off separately. I would suggest adding hooks on the wall for guests to be able to hang the bathrobes, towels, etc.

This place is perfect for calm vacation. The views are stunning and you have plenty of places to chill. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is nice: beds are comfortable, there is a balcony with a table and two chairs. The hotel beach might not be suitable for everyone (you access water only through platform and there are just two ladders) but you can easily reach local beaches with the traditional sea access. The cuisine is nothing out of the ordinary (breakfast is pretty much the same all the time) but everything is fresh and delicious.

We really enjoyed every day of our stay at the hotel. The staff were amazing, clean rooms and territory, tasty food. Also, the food in the restaurant was delicious, especially the fish soup. I would definitely recommend this place for families with or without kids.

This hotel is lovely and has beautiful facilities. The salt water pool was our favourite with lovely views and a more chilled vibe. The food was excellent and all of the common spaces felt really well cared for and everything was up to a high standard. If you’re looking for a beachy hotel, this may not be it as the hotel beach is just a manmade platform with sunbeds (still nice) and the public beaches are quite small and crowded. We stayed with our 4 year old and she loved it even though there wasn’t many kids things (we knew this and wanted this). We would definitely stay again for a few days!

We loved everything.

We all loved the food. It was very delicious and varied every day. It also included very tasty healthy options and local dishes, delicious desserts and barbecue. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was impeccably clean and well kept.

Staff was not the friendliest, not sure if they expected more tipping, which I did not expect while having all inclusive. Parking could have been better, and the streets leading to hotel are quite hazardous

Food was great, pools were good, beaches are nice, lots of exercise due to stairs, tennis court was good, room was very nice, with two bathrooms, seaside terrace is awesome, boat rental and activities on-site

The hotel was super,more than 4****.The staff was polite and ready to satisfy all our needs. We had a little baby and they were really attentive to provide us everything we needed. It is located in a good position as it has really close in both sides two beaches,Psoramuora and Monaftis beach if you need for a change . Highly recommend it 👌. Food is tasty and a lot of options and alsoifferent types of pools and opportunities to relax. Super super view from every part of the resort.

Maybe a hotel shuttle leaving at set times to maximize more people getting there so that the cost could be a little cheaper. Our group had to take 3 different taxis.

The location was excellent with panoramic views and the view from our room was exquisite. The room was very large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety. I especially love that they had delicious pizza everyday. The staff was excellent and the manager was very helpful during a situation that the hotel had nothing to do with. I would recommend this hotel 100%.

The food was a 6/10 with limited options and some either overcooked or cold when they were originally warm. The mocktails were syrups with some water.

Our stay at Peninsula Resort & Spa was truly wonderful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable (we stayed at the reception building), as well as all other facilities. All the meals were really good, with a lot of variety and quality, providing several options throughout your stay. There are also several activities that can be arranged, spa services, tours to different cities, etc. (these will have additional feed but are surely worth it). The location is absolutely beautiful, and the locals are extremely welcoming and friendly! Another very useful this is the transportation to and from Heraklion directly from the Hotel reception, with several convenient schedules and very accessible prices. There are also several activities organized daily by the hotel’s animation team, from karaoke to small cooking lessons/ workshops, bingo, greek night and much more! Overall it was an amazing stay but the main thing I would like to point our is the amazing hotel staff, they are absolutely fantastic, and really make you feel at home away from home, their kindness is unparalleled, super friendly and always ready to help in anyway possible. My mother is a diabetic and had very few desert options on the daily buffets, so the chef always cared to prepare a little something specially for her! I also loved how thy provide little lunch boxes so you can still enjoys your free meals (all inclusive) when going on an excursion or for a day away from the hotel. A special thanks to Maria Irini and Fotini, the receptionist, who truly made our stay even more enjoyable than we could possibly imagine, accommodating our every need m with a constant smile from ear to ear! They are absolutely amazing! Antonio also gave us amazing tips on visiting Heraklion and how to get around the town on Agia Pelagia. I will surely comeback and hopefully have the pleasure to meet them all again.
