We couldn’t fault it as it met all our exceptions.

Accommodation was of a great standard as it was newly refurbished. Location was awesome smack bag in the middle of everything transport, restaurants, supermarket to buy necessities, port and walking distance to the beach for a swim. Staff were very accommodating and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The owners Niko and Mirella are a lovely couple and employ great staff. Let’s not forget the awesome breakfast so fresh and plentiful.

The small little town, Epidarus is perfect from hustle/bustle and busy Santorini and Athens a week ago. Quite and peaceful, ocean facing little town and our rooms are facing the sea. Breakfast is superb, beyond our expectation. The orange juice is "original", freshly squeezed. Highly recommended for stay to visit Epidarus Ancient Theater and on the way to south. The seafood place in front of the water promenade was really great.

We liked everything!

A lovely refurbished hotel in a beautiful location. Right at the port of Old Epidavros. Very friendly staff and great spot to sit and have an aperitif or breakfast, right next to the marina. Lively but quiet at the same time. Very much enjoyed it and will certainly go back.

There was no WIFI signal in the room. But as soon as you go out of the room, the signal went up max. This happened on both our phone s and tablet. So we had to go down to the restaurant to get WIFI. The breakfast was very basic and I have been charged 5 Euro for extra coffee. Since the rooms are above the restaurant, it is very noisy.

The people working there were very nice and willing to help. The room was clean. and lot of free parking

The shower head did not have an overhead attachment, so the shower had to be held in the hand in use, not really a problem, but would have preferred an overhead attachment. It might be work in progress as I understand the hotel has only recently changed hands and been refurbished.

Breakfast was good, with excellent coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, bread, jams etc and followed by eggs and slices of a tasty spiced sausage and tomato. Friendly attentive staff. The bed was comfortable. Easy parking adjacent to the hotel.

The breakfast was really simple: 2 slice of bread, butter, honey and jam; coffe and orange juice. If we ordered something extra (egg or joghurt), it was an extra fee. The room was full with mosquitos.

The shower water temperature changed abruptly and was hard to adjust. Because of the shower head, the water flow was also not enough. Some lamps were missing or not functioning well.

Simple hotel, clean, good beds, renovated. No elevator so you need to shlep your luggage up yourself. Staff pretty much busy downstairs with the bar, which made for an impersonal experience.

We arrived at Onar hotel at 6 pm and there was no reception staff as they were all working in the adjacent cafe. After waiting for a little (the reception appeared run down), we had to get them from there. When we showed them the booking, we were left standing at the reception for about 10-15 minutes without any word or explanation. We only heard two people talking about which room was free and one person went up. At the end, a young woman informed us that the room had problems with the water pipes and that they could not fix it, so they would move us to another hotel. It was strange that they had not been aware of the problem before our arrival or that they did not mention that at the beginning.No apology was offered. The hotel they moved us to looked a little older, but had a much better location and much much nicer staff. Would not book at Onar again, very unprofessional.

The strong smell of interior perfume (so strong that our clothes took the smell for a few days and it disturbed us during our sleep), the room was not ready when we arrived at 15.15, the room was not cleaned the second and last day of our stay, the noise at night, the fact it was not possible to have a breakfast before 8.

4 hours check-in, there was little heat in the room, the shower plumbing leaked water everywhere except the shower head head and the wifi did not work. Tbey kept sending ne person or another promising to fix but nothing was done. They offered us a room in a nearby hotel but it was dirty, and had no staff. It had been closed for winter. I didn't feel like staying in an abandoned hotel. like a ghost hotel in which the rooms were not even clean. At around 10:00 p.m. after five hours of going back band forth they told us to leave them alone go and find a room somewhere else. Where were going to find a room in the middle of the night with no wifi! It seemed like it had been shut down for winter. The problem was that there was one to manage the hotel. People who ran the restaurant downstairs doubled as hotel staff when their primary responsibility was to run the bar and restaurant. They were required to run the hotel but had no authority to make decisions without checking with the absentee owner. I tried to take a picture of the water gushing out from the shower head, he prevented me from taking a picture. He had a nasty grin on his face like he was telling me, "you aren't going to be able to prove anything without the pictures. It would probably be all right in the summer tourist season, It seemed like the owner did not want to hire people to run the hotel in the winter low season. The people who managed the bar and restaurant were left to fend for themselves in running the hotel too, but thy were overworked. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I do fell sory of the workers there.

The day hostess at the restaurant was very nice and helpful. She brought a space heater from her house so that we could have some heat in the room. Some of the staff wanted to help but couldn't as they had no authority to do anything.

It was cold in the room, it took well into the night for the heater to warm up the place. The water was only lukewarm so we couldn't take a shower. During the night the sound of a compressor going on and off every few seconds made it very hard to sleep. The wifi in the room wasn't working.

The location was nice. The rooms are newly remodeled. Great view from the balcony. The bar downstairs was very cozy.
