Not much. Just wishes there was a rug or something outside the room + a whole body mirror and atleast a cover that separates the shower and toilet so the water from the shower doesn’t go all over the bathroom’s floor

It’s beautiful although expensive. The staff were excellent and very easy to communicate. Even though pool is public, there’s really not a lot of guests so you get to enjoy it privately for a long while. The view from day to night is amazing. Sunset can be seen with the view of caldera.

Our first time in Santorini and we were so lucky to stay in such a wonderful place, the staff were so lovely and helpful with recommendations for food, helping with luggage etc and our room was just breathtaking!

Unfortunately there is no bar available to order drinks or snacks, and you have to leave the hotel (long walk up the stairs) if you need to buy.

The view is outstanding, and the location perfect to see the sunset. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Due to the number of steps and that it is not accessible via a vehicle the staff meet you and help with the suitcases (ours were super big and heavy and they carried 2) which we were super grateful for. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The hotel is incredibly nice, clean and well located. Just in the heart of Oia with an amazing sunset view from our jacuzzi. The staff and especially Boian (sorry if I misspelled his name) went above and beyond to provide us the best customer service and care possible. I would recommend this place a thousand times.

The location was excellent, with a perfect view of the sunset. Our room also had a heated private infinity pool, which means we could enjoy it even if the weather wasn't great. The staff was also exceptional, going all out to fulfill all my requests, especially the one for a romantic setup for a proposal, which went great!

Nothing - everything was great!

Exceptional location and perfect accommodations for our family of 3. We were in the Master Suite and had a private pool and incredible view for the sunset each evening from comfortable lounge chairs. Boyan and George were the best hosts and provided perfect recommendations and help with reservations. They even surprised us with a to go breakfast bag on our departure day that was a nice touch! Don’t miss the sunrise from top of castle above this hotel- amazing! Highly recommend Old Castle and we will definitely be back!

The view of the hotel is very, very good. It can be said to be the most beautiful cliff hotel in Oia! You can see the most beautiful sunset! There is an observation deck above the hotel, where you can see the sunset. The swimming pool in the public area of ​​the hotel can not only take pictures of the sunset, but also the architecture of Santorini. Giorgos is a super patient and photo-taking photographer who took a lot of beautiful photos for me! He is also very handsome and can meet all your requirements!

Everything was perfect. There were staff online almost 24 hours a day. I felt really good on the first day, and I didn't want to leave on the second day, so I booked an extra night. I was very tired on the first night, and I was afraid that I would need to change rooms if I booked a different room type on the second day, so I told the hotel backstage, and the hotel directly told me to have a good rest. I felt really safe! Then I booked a pick-up at the airport and arrived. The hotel told me that they would arrange everything, so I didn't have to worry! It was really perfect. And it's worth mentioning that the hotel also has a professional photographer, Giorgos! !

The walk to get there and back was really intense. It’s half way down the cliff so it’s quiet steep and getting back up is definitely a work out! I wouldn’t recommend for anyone that has mobility issues or health problems. However the staff were great and they helped us with our luggage getting there and leaving.

The views from this property were amazing! We also got upgraded as it was our honeymoon so we had a pool where we could watch the sunset from it was amazing. It was a really peaceful and relaxing stay and the staff were all very nice.

No one talks about the steps. There are no roads, and so you have to walk about 5 minutes to get there, but the path to get there is uneven with very large steps. I was grateful for the staff carrying our luggage but felt so bad. Not for the weak kneed and wear good shoes.

Great hotel, the best views of sunset and a beautiful pool. It was clean and spacious and I'm so glad we had our private hot tub inside the room, it made it even more private. The staff were friendly and very helpful with our luggage.

A lot of stairs (no elevator). I would not recommend this for anyone that can’t handle stairs. Our room had an in room hot tub and had a small window to the outside. Which was nice but anybody walking by could look inside at night unless all the lights were off. Luckily not a lot of people were walking by.

Best location for views & sunsets. Breakfast was delicious. The hot tub (in the room) was really cool. Helpful staff with the bags and local recommendations.

The property is not accessible by cars and can only be reached with about a 7-min walk which requires one to have strong knees and good stamina. But this comes with having a stunning view of the caldera and sunset views given the hotel is built into the caves of the volcano. You get used to it after walking a few times.

The view from the room is superb. The sunset view itself is worth every cent paid. All staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about questions asked regarding where to go for food and places to visit.

AC wasn't working. In fact our heat was on all night and since it is literally a cave it wasn't very comfortable for sleeping. The hotel was fantastic though in comping us our breakfast served on our terrace. The room was otherwise superb as were the staff.
