The shower situation is very small. Do not arrive expecting a luxurious bath. :)

This family run hotel was a delight. For people that appreciate the romance of historic properties that are not restored into blandness, this spot is for you. The price was outstanding for what the Nymph had to offer. We paid the nominal fee for Anastasia’s breakfast, and we were very pleased. We came into Salakos for the hiking the trails through the gorgeous rocky pine forests and the experience did not disappoint. The fact that a washer and dryer was available to us was so appreciated. If you love stunning vistas, are willing to rent a car, and you like to get away from the madding crowd, a trip to the mountains of Rhodes for hiking is highly recommended. And The Nymph Hotel can serve as the base for your adventure! One more point worth mentioning, the Salakos central square is lovely and there is a fantastic restaurant there.

Nothing. It was a very nice stay. Be aware that this is a heritage family property so it is not like a modern hotel. But it is characterful.

Our host was extremely kind and looked after our every need. There is a small kitchen for guest use and simple cooking arrangements. The hotel does coffees and drinks on request.

The hotel is very charming with its old spirit and the history. If you are a light sleeper and sensitive to the sounds, better have an earplugs. The owner of the hotel - she is just the heart of this place, like a mother who trully cares! Thank you for your caring attention! Thank you and best of luck!

It was a very charming escape from the tourist crowds in Rhodes. And 20 minuttes drive in different directions brings you to trails for walks up the highest peak in Rhodes, wine tasting and nice and quite beaches.

Sorry our room didn't have a balcony, but that was just a minor detail.

The breakfast was rich, made by lovely Anastasia. On a sunny day we had the breakfast in the garden, on a rainy day inside the building. The rooms have what you need for your stay. The building itself is 100 years old, lovely with wooden details. Anastasia takes great care of her guests. Loved the village of Salakos, where everybody was really friendly. The hike from Salakos up to the Profitis Ilias peak is very well marked and the views are amazing. Salakos is away from the too busy coastline and Rodos town, perfect for a quiet holiday or when you want to explore the island by yourself by car.

The bed was a little unconfirmed - alright the views from the windows were Favreau and we were able to forget this.

Anastasia is an excellent host, very hospitable and dvery helpful when we were trying to find out about bus times to another mountain village. Really loved the long, lazy breakfast - a different twist on both mornings. Great location for walking in the mountains.

    Nothing really!

Perfect hotel in a small cosy village out of the touristic areas in Rhodes. Very authentic Greek village with a handful of nice and very cheap restaurants. The room had a superb view over the landscape and ocean. A terrace where the host serves breakfast every morning (included). The hotel is great value for money and can recommend anyone who are tired of the party life at Falikari to stay here instead. Yes, it requires a car for access. However, the windy roads in the mountains on the north side of the island are much nicer than the south side. I would book it again if I come back to Rhodes.
