Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NorwayIt was a very charming escape from the tourist crowds in Rhodes. And 20 minuttes drive in different directions brings you to trails for walks up the highest peak in Rhodes, wine tasting and nice and quite beaches.

FinlandSorry our room didn't have a balcony, but that was just a minor detail.
The breakfast was rich, made by lovely Anastasia. On a sunny day we had the breakfast in the garden, on a rainy day inside the building. The rooms have what you need for your stay. The building itself is 100 years old, lovely with wooden details. Anastasia takes great care of her guests. Loved the village of Salakos, where everybody was really friendly. The hike from Salakos up to the Profitis Ilias peak is very well marked and the views are amazing. Salakos is away from the too busy coastline and Rodos town, perfect for a quiet holiday or when you want to explore the island by yourself by car.

Anastasia is an excellent host, very hospitable and dvery helpful when we were trying to find out about bus times to another mountain village. Really loved the long, lazy breakfast - a different twist on both mornings. Great location for walking in the mountains.

SwedenNothing really!
Perfect hotel in a small cosy village out of the touristic areas in Rhodes. Very authentic Greek village with a handful of nice and very cheap restaurants. The room had a superb view over the landscape and ocean. A terrace where the host serves breakfast every morning (included). The hotel is great value for money and can recommend anyone who are tired of the party life at Falikari to stay here instead. Yes, it requires a car for access. However, the windy roads in the mountains on the north side of the island are much nicer than the south side. I would book it again if I come back to Rhodes.

TurkeyThe location is a bit far away from Rhodes city, but it's not a major problem if you have a car.
The breakfast was wonderful. Our hosts were very kind, friendly and helpful. They gave us a map and helped us create a plan of travel. The hotel was super affordable and very clean. We will definitely stay here again if we ever come back.

GermanyWe did not like the bathroom much, but because it was a bit small. The shower was not really comfy. But overall it was cozy and the house is quite vintage, so we understand.
We are totally amazed and thankful for the whole stay at Nymph. From the beginning to the end we were treated very good, communicating our arrival and leaving times. Once at the reception, Anastasia, the host, showed us our room, which was very cozy and clean. I particularly liked the views very much. You really feel like in the middle of the island, in a tiny village, very relaxing overall. We also had breakfast and it was delicious! And by the way, one of the best Freddo Capuccinos! Thank you Anastasia :)

GermanyUnfortunately, they have a terrible bed, the mattress was too old. No shampoo or soap You can cook in the kitchen, but there isn't any oil, so one should buy a bottle even for one time cooking.
The breakfast was good (not for vegans though) The location is good, but the town isn't that huge, so any hotel will be good :)
