It was my fault, but I only found the fridge in the room on the second last day! I should have investigated a little more...

Beautifully situated rooms, with traditional Greek decor and excellent air conditioning. Marianna was an exceptional host and couldn't do enough to meet my needs. The breakfast kafenion was also beautiful and of a high standard.

Beautiful room in a heritage house with stunning ocean and mountain views. We arrived late and Marianna welcomed us. Marianne was a wonderful host, with lots of helpful information about the island and made great coffee too!

The rooms were a great size and perfectly clean and the guesthouse is in a great location. Nora and Marianna were both so welcoming and helpful from recommending places to eat, beaches and landmarks to visits, to helping us book taxis. We would highly recommend Nostos Guesthouse!

The room we had came with a large private terrace which had amazing views. The main room was spacious, although the bathroom was a little on the small side. The property was well situated and in a quiet area. The young lady who was managing the property in the owner's absence was exceptional. She could not have been more helpful. Also the lady who did the cleaning deserves special mention. All in all a very well run property .

This is a gorgeous, well kept older guest house. It is beautiful, quiet and cozy. The location is right by the Kastro and close to everything else in town. We had lovely views of the ocean from our window. Our host was kind and friendly.

Nothing. I was very happy there. Better advice and directions re parking (nearby and also in the large municipal lot on the edge of the village) might have helped upon arrival, it was sort of confusing for the first time. But wasn't a big problem in the end, and I managed to find my way!

Delightful stay at the Nostos in beautiful Chora Kythera village. Elegant, beautifully designed, clean, comfortable room. Staff were lovely people and very welcoming and accommodating. A short drive away from the sea at Kapsali. Charming village streets to explore. I would gladly stay again!

As other guests said, the bathroom in our room could be upgraded. Nonetheless, it was functional. Plus, it was clean, and we were provided with a nice selection of very good bath products.

Amazing stay. Nostos Guest House is ideally located in Chora, but very quiet nonetheless. The staff was amazing, breakfasts rich and delicious, and the structure was a little jewel in its kind. Highly recommended.

Not a criticism of the property, but there aren't many good restaurants or bars nearby in the chora, so you really need a car to travel to the nearby Kapsali harbour and beach.

This is a fabulous old guesthouse probably dating from the 1800's and sympathetically modernised with en-suite facilities. the breakfast in the snack bar (across the archway in the same building) was plentiful and good value for money. A nice quiet location in the heart of the chora. Be warned though - if you have any mobility issues, or struggle with stairs - then this is not for you! Car parking is a good walk away.

Our stay was wonderful. We had the room with the roof terrace and that was the best choice! The view over the Chora and the ocean was stunning. The room itself was very cozy and traditionally furnished, what we really liked. Would come again anytime.
