The lights on the walls flickered to resemble a cave - cool idea, but a bit migraine inducing in practice.

Luxurious accommodations about 25 minutes outside of Oia, and right off the main hiking trail between Fira & Oia. Stunning sunset views, private outdoor tub, and AC made this a great location for exploring Santorini.

We loved walking in and out of Oia, maybe 20 mins, but anyone who doesn’t rent transport or like to walk, it’s quite a way to town and the driveway is extremely long and steep, taxis are expensive.

Staff were amazing, a gorgeous welcome when we arrived by Vaso and Konstantina . Tomasis in the bar and Effy looking after our rooms could not have been more friendly or helpful. The location is amazing, just alongside the famous Oia-Fira cliff walk. The views of Oia from the hotel are breathtaking and it’s the perfect location to enjoy magical sunsets. The breakfast every morning was simply stunning, we stayed for a week and tried new dishes each morning and they were fabulous. We cannot speak highly enough of how amazing the team are, we felt really spoiled and we are already making plans to return.

The hotel is perfect! We had a memorable stay. Breakfast and dinner are delicious and the restaurant has an fantastic view. The room is very cozy and comfortable. Irini was so kind and helped us with recomendations and suggestions about things to do in Santorini. We will never forget our stay there.

EVERYTHING IS PERFECT. The view, food, comfortable room, people, atmosphere …. Nothing to complain about. It is a bit away from Oia but you will find a bus or even we could walk.

The staff is just the best! They helped us with everything, so kind and warm! The breakfast everything is amazing! No need to eat lunch after, you stay full. The view is something else and the rooms are amazing, everything is just like the pictures. But the staff specially made our stay the best. Such nice people. Would definitely return ♥️

It’s so aesthetic. The sunsets are amazing and the view from every room is great. The restaurant food is incredible too and the breakfast was top notch, but above all we loved the hospitality. All of the employees made us feel right at home and one of the waitresses even gave me a hand written recipe for a traditional greek dessert that I ordered there and loved so I could make it at home! If we ever go back to Santorini we’re definitely staying here again.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the staff welcomed us very warmly and gave us welcome wine. The service attitude was very good. The hotel is on the mountain and you can see the beautiful sunset every night. It was a very happy trip~

The breakfast was exceptional and not your standard continental breakfast. There was a lot to choose from and very filling that I never needed to eat a lunch.

The shower pressure/temperature was not consistent.

Upon arrival we were told our room had been upgraded to the best room in the hotel. The location is great for a quiet stay, much more private than in other areas of Santorini. The views are to die for! Very conveniently located right below the hiking path between Oia and Fira. The level of attention was great. The food (including an amazing a-la-carte breakfast) was delicious. Would stay again!

The hotel really is on a suuuuper steep hill (probably our fault for not researching this more!) but makes walking to / from oia a bit of an ordeal - fine in the daytime but tricky under foot in the dark, we felt like mountain goats 😂 (we are fit, mid twenties for reference). Also even through the hotel taxis were €20 each way to Oia or €40 to Fira - this added up over the trip! In hindsight paying a bit more for a hotel that was closer would have been worth it or hiring a car. IMO the hotel should at least offer free hotel shuttles to/from the bottom of the hill to make the walk to Oia easier.

The property was beautiful, lovely decor & fab room with hot tub. The food in the restaurant was also great and we loved the breakfast with a view that was included (so much food!). The staff were also super lovely.

Great rain fall shower, only negative was the pressure was inconsistent. I would guess this is due to the location. The hot tub views were amazing but functionality could be better. Sun loungers on the balcony would have been a nice addition rather than chairs.

Staff were fantastic, especially the bar/restaurant staff who were very friendly and personable. They went out of there way to ensure we had a great stay. Immediate access to the Oia-Fira walking trail provides instant access to amazing views. The view from the bar at sunset was second to none. The food was exceptional and the cocktails were delicious.

Nothing at all

Amazing experience with Nimbus. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special and it felt like we were at a luxury retreat. They were so friendly and helpful with getting around the city and with their tips on what to see. We arrived very early before check in time, they were so accomodating and took care of our stuff and we had breakfast at the resort while we waited to check in. The breakfast is amazing and was one of the best places we stayed at on our trip. Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Santorini and will be back again :)

Breakfast was amazing, as well as the dinner in the local restaurant The view from the terrace is absolutely fantastic It is an anxious drive to the top of the mountain where the hotel locates though since it's very steep, so I would reccomend picking a decent car if you rent.

Nimbus is a fantastic luxury hotel. Small, quiet and romantic. Very friendly helpful staff and really easy communications throughout. I could not fault this great hotel - perfect and would go back.
