Newer home close to a beautiful beach and away from the busy city. Spacious, clean with a great backyard and a good size pool. Staff was very accommodating and responded quickly when we had questions.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

The Mythos Villas are in a wonderful location on the beautiful south coast of the island - quiet and off the beaten track! They are located 5 minutes walk away from a lovely beach with views of the sea to the front and of the mountains behind. Only 10 minutes drive from Plakias where there are supermarkets and a range of shops and restaurants. Our Villa was cleaned daily and a bowl of fresh fruit was waiting to welcome us! There are 3 tavernas by the beach, all with great food and friendly staff. There are paths along the coast in both directions with stunning views out to sea!

Only negative that the Mythos Taverna next door was closed, but still 2-3 fantastic other good tavernas available at the see side only 200 m away was very convenient. A dishwasher would have been handy in the apartment but we managed without.

Clean, new villa with very nice pool and outside area close to one of the best beaches on Crete. Beds very comfortable and kitchen bathroom had most amnesties. Host very friendly and reachable. During our stay we has strong warm wind for a couple of days, but this was a good experience and very cozy in apartment with the noice from the cables - and also convenient outside - shielded from the wind coming from North

It was perfect! Location was near a really beautiful beach, but still in nice and quiet spot. House was clean and pool was bigger than we thought from pictures and aircondition was super! The hosts were very helpful with everything. And even there was people in the house next to us it was still quiet. There was small shop near and bigger one was in plakias. But there were super nice restaurants near! Will come back!

Very modern, very clean, very comfortable condo. The perfect size for a family with 2 adult children. The location was only a short walk from one of the best beaches in the world. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars in Plakias only 10min away.

We had a really nice + relaxing time in Mythos Villas no 3. The apartment is nice, bright, spacious, clean, well equipped and has a big furnished terrace (outdoor furniture, sunbeds, umbrella). It is located in a quiet area in walking distance to Damnoni beach (with 2 tavernas) and to the even more beautiful Ammoydaki beach. Also the host (Eva) is really nice! The private pool is clean and big enough to swim a little. In order to see more from the island you need a car. We definitely would like to come back. Sigrid & Thomas

The villa was better than we expected. it had everything you need, even detergent for the washing machine. the hosts had also raki left for us. Fresh oranges so we make juice, and coffee capsules. Coffee capsules could be more so they last until our stay, but I did not mind. I loved the outside area and the pool. I would recomend it with families with children. they would love it. I want to make a comment though, for those who have visited the place and complain about the wind. Yes South Crete has windy days, and no host can know that in advance. If during your stay there is wind, think positive, and enjoy your holidays. See the best out of it and have fun.

Modern and clean house, very good quality beds, the friendly and helpful host mr. Andreas. The very quiet and perfect location with on walking distance the sandy beach. Near the beach three tavernas with traditional Greek food. Nearby is Plakias; there are some supermarkets, two pharmacies and more taverns and restaurants.

Everything was perfect.

The villa is a new build, very comfortable and super clean. The location is peaceful and very close to the beach. The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a highly recommended place.

Such a beautiful villa, it really is exceptional. The pool area is to die for, everything was very clean and well thought through. Views from every angle, of the sea and the incredible mountains. Just a couple of mins walk to the beach and the lovely beachfront tavernas, and only 5 min drive / 30 min walk to Plakias, a busier town with loads to do. Would love to come back!

Beautiful, luxury villa, with heated pool. So great to be able to have a morning swim when just stepping out your villa.... absolutely a place to revisit. Very friendly staff, as if they invented hospitality. Big recommendation to stay there.

Check in was at 4. No-one showed up to let us in until 5. It was HOT. He eventually stumbled out of the house across the street. Also there were ants inside. The beds were not comfortable.

The place was close to the beach and tavernas and had everything needed. We loved hanging out in Damnoni and Plakias down the road.

the stairs were quite dangerous with sharp edges a high step rise and difficult for partially sighted with no handrail. the garden area whilst a good size was ver bare and utilitarian a few more plants would have made a big difference as the view is unspectacular. the kitchen is minimally equipped with no storage for food other than a huge fridge that dominates the space. there is nowhere to hide the mop and bucket in the living room. there were no chairs or drawers for clothes in the bedrooms although plenty of space for this. no hooks for coats and bags. it was a house that had great potential but lacked the personal touches that make them feel welcoming. whilst being comfortable it was overall a little disappointing and certainly not exceptional there was also one night where a party in the Taverna fifty metres behind the villa went on until 2:30 in the morning. the sound insulation of the external doors is non existent and it felt like the band was in the house. I had little sleep that night and if this is a regular occurrence that would be a big cause for future dissatisfaction The pool motor was also noisy and ugly and was a little too cold to use comfortably

We booked the villa mainly because of the advertised heated pool (even in the name!), after 3 days it was still 22c cold. The house is very new and still needs some final touch - no hangers to put clothes on, both house and bathrooms, more shelves in wardrobe needed. Only one cooking pot not enough, missing dish cloth, no emergency washing powder, very lose pool ladder. PLEASE mark the raki on the table as alcohol - our daughter accidentaly drank from it as it was in water bottle, thank you.
