Not a fault of the property but taxi’s are hard to come by and expensive, so be prepared to get the bus or walk into the main town.

The hosts of this property simply can’t do enough for you! Evita collected us from the sea port and returned us to the airport at the end of our stay, free of charge. We were informed of all the key things to do on the island and were provided with some excellent restaurant tips! Evita constantly ensured we had all the information we needed to make the most of our trip, including bus timetables and detailed directions. We received glorious spinach and cheese pies on arrival from her mother, then sweet pies and chocolate cake on our subsequent days, all delicious and home made, what a lovely treat! The hotel itself is small and boutique, with quirky but beautiful decor and the private hot tubs are an absolute plus! The pool is small but lovely and helped us survive the heatwave! The accommodation is just a short walk (10-15 minutes) down hill into Mykonos town which is stunning but the immediate neighbourhood (2 mins) also has plenty of restaurants and a mini market to stock up your room. This was the last leg of our honeymoon and we were delighted to spend it at Mykonos Secret Spot!

Thanks to Evita and her family was our stay at Mykonos unforgettable experience. We are grateful for the kindness and we could not have asked for better hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel like home and also providing us tips for around local area. Everyday the hosts prepared for us traditional greek desserts that we really enjoyed. When we came to Mykonos the hosts picked us up at the airport and for the end of our vacation they dropped us off at the airport. The apartment was beautifully maintained, cleaned and equipped with all things we could possibly need. If we ever come back we definitely book this place again :)

Not that I can recall!

Our stay at Mykonos Secret Spot was pleasant, sweet, and a memorable one. Right from our arrival at the port, check-in to the room, exploring Mykonos (clubs, beaches, sunset points, light house & old city) upto our departure, Evita was super helpful, friendly and on the go. She was quick in response, and her recommendations were super amazing. We genuinely liked the hospitality provided by the family. The place is 15 mins walk from the old town. Highly recommended!

Location was really not good for us. Good for people with a car, who want to travel around the island. There were good food and míní-market options nearby, but going to and back from city center is not something you want to do more than once in a while by foot.

The staff of the Secret Spot are just amazing and heavily contributed to our great holiday. We got a lot of extra tips, support, great snacks and family feeling

Everything very new and clean, it is a pleasure to have chosen this establishment to spend a few days. Marita has been the best host I have had in my stays. She helped me with where to go, where to eat and how to rent a motorbike. She was really great.

The kindness and care of Marita and her husband made my stay in Mykonos very special. Both are very kind and give you all the support during your stay like pick-up at ferry/airport, tips of best places to eat and beaches to visit, recommendation of rental car shops and so on. Besides that every morning they come up with a greek local dish for breakfast. Their location is very nearby downtown, the room is very clean, the hot tub is a plus and coming back from the beach and relax in it. My stay was wonderful and I fully recommend it.

Everything! The room what’s awesome, they take care about every detail. The owners offered us shuttle when we arrived from the airport, for free, we really appreciate that! They let us feel like in home, they took their time to explain us everything about the city ( restaurants, buses) and they gave us every day some Greek food that they cooked so we can try.

Absolutely nothing.

I wish I could rate this place an 11! Property managed by the amazing owners, who from the beginning were very communicative and helpful, they even picked us up from the airport for free, something unthinkable in other places. For sure this service is something they do if they are available as I can imagine it’s a lot to ask for every day with all the guests, so it was highly appreciated. At our arrival they showed us our room and gave us a map marking us all their recommendations. They also set up a car rental for us with a great company and price. Plus they received us with tasty greet treats. Room was perfect for a couple, with a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook small meals. Bed and pillows were comfortable and toilet and shower were great too. A big plus was the private jacuzzi in which we relaxed after a long day of beach/sightseeing. Everything was super clean. There is also a shared pool with sun beds and a nice terras to watch the sunset from, on our first day we did this together with them and other guests toasting with a bottle of wine they opened for us. When things couldn’t get any better, they continued their tasty treats every morning and even considering our food intolerances/tastes. How sweet is that! Although the place is just perfect and amazing value for price, the owners and the love for what they do make the super big difference. We feel very lucky to having found this property and confirming all the amazing reviews they have, they for sure deserve all of the lovely comments. Please don’t hesitate and just book, you won’t regret it.

nothing - if we ever come back to the island it will be to stay here again

We were meat at the port and transfered to the property which was very kind and not expected from the host. We were treated each morning with freshly baked pastries (greek) the jacuzzi was amazing, we used it every day it was very clean and we had 2 bathrooms (life saver) private parking space and away from all the parties very close to cheapest places to eat on the island about 15 minutes going downhill to get to main town centre

I have travelled in many places around the world (and many places in Greece) but I’ve never had such amazing hosts. Marita and her husband are the nicest, most caring and cheerful people. They helped us choose the best places to visit, we did everything as per their reccomandations and it was perfect. The room was amazing, the outside area as well. It is surley the best place to stay in Mykonos, with easy access to the bus (going to a number of beautiful beaches) and a short walk to the city center. Thank you for making our trip perfect!

Everything was great, nothing negative.

The owners Marita and Thanassis were as wonderful as all the previous reviews have said . Exceptional attention to detail, treats every day, and Thanassis even collected us from the ferry which was a great help . The private hot tub was very relaxing and the benefit of being a bit further out from the main town is you have more space and they even have a small pool and sunbathing area. Definitely 10 out of 10.

It’s taken me a while to write this review because I needed to make sure I captured my experience as truly as possible. I don’t want to be that person, but let me own up to the fact that I never leave reviews unless it’s extremely great or bad. And this is my longest review ever. All I can say is that the experience I had at Mykonos Secret Spot (MSS) has genuinely been the absolute BEST one I’ve had yet. I travel a lot, and to put it in context, Greece was the 17th I’ve been to this year, so you can understand how many places I’ve had to compare, yet it came out as the best. From hostels to 5-star hotels, not a single place has come this close. Two days before my arrival, I got a message from Marita asking about my arrival time as usual, however, what was different was that I was provided a WhatsApp number to contact. Fast forward to the day of my trip, I got a text from her asking what my flight number was, which I provided to her. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed for two hours which meant I’d arrive at midnight, or close to it, and I communicated that, to which she replied that it wasn’t an issue. On arrival to Mykonos, I immediately got a message from her welcoming me to the city and then proceeded to say that her husband was on the way to pick me up. I was so touched because I only paid for the room. Her husband arrived and waited for me to come out of the airport, he loaded my suitcase and drove me to the hotel. He was so polite and kind and funny too. Told me some jokes, made me comfortable, explained some things about the city to me, and showed me the route home and to the city. Also where to eat, etc. I spent the night in the warm jacuzzi. The next morning, I came out and Marita handed me a beautiful plate of nicely made Greek food for breakfast. This was extremely kind of her. They made me feel so welcome, like family. The second day, I stayed back at the hotel because honestly, the place in itself is worth a day spent.

The sink was a little small.

Marita and her husband were one of the best hosts. From the time of arrival to the end, they were caring, very informative, and made us feel home. They gave us great tips about local restaurants and provided us suggestions about places to explore in the island. Every day they would bring us a small dish to try which was all so delicious. They helped us with everything we needed. The host was even nice enough to pick us up from the port and drop us off at the airport. It truly was a secret spot which my husband and I are so glad we discovered. :)

The hosts were unbelievable! They made the stay beyond welcoming and easy. The hosts picked us up from the port, gave us an introduction to Mykonos and then drove us from the port to the accomodation. The hosts surprised us with Greek food and were at our disposal if we needed anything. We would highly recommend this accomodation to anyone.
