We chose this accommodation for our first visit to Santorini. The location was perfect, it was very close to all of the ‘instagram’ spots, all within 5 minutes walk and one of the famous ones is literally a few seconds away from your gate - this is the photo I have included in this review. The whole property was beautiful - we really enjoyed our stay in the Morfi Cave House. Our host Elizabeth was very helpful from the beginning of our booking. She helped with our transport from the airport and also arranged a porter for our luggage. She was also very kind to suggest lots of activities and restaurants during our stay. The location isn’t too far away from where you are dropped off by the minivan, however there are a lot of steps going to your accommodation - all fairly manageable but you just have to be careful and take it slow. The patio and balcony area was a plus - you get stunning views of Oia during the day and evening. The property was beautifully decorated inside - minimalistic and felt the authentic cave houses. Overall location, host, decoration and price - all 10 out 10!

Great location within view of THE spot everyone takes pictures of in Oia. Set away but very short walk to the sunset view and the main shopping and dining strip. Excellent night's sleep - dark comfortable room and quiet AC. Delicious breakfast included. Great communication via text with host; highly recommend transfer service to/from airport and ferry.

If you’re over 185cm you need to duck every entrance. It’s very close to a very popular photo taking location so foot traffic is very heavy.

Fantastic location with amazing views of the sea and in a very central location. The host Elizabeth was fantastic organising transportation to and from our ferry. Also provided us with heaps of information on what to do while in Santorini. Would highly recommend.

Great location right in the middle of Oia district. Within short walking distance from transport drop offs, and has a grand vista view of the caldera from the terrace. Rooms are spacious, and so is the bathroom. Kitchen has complete ammenities. A beautiful cave house to enhance your Santorini experience!

Everything is so good and we are glad that there’s a kitchen . The air dehumidifiers are so important. This is a one of a kind experience of living in an ancient form of cave house and it beats our stay at Ritz Carlton

At the check out there was some miscommunication with the timing of check out and staff were there before scheduled time and because of that keys were left with us and had to pay extra €30 for keys pick up from another town. Also for airport pick up it was quoted €40 but were asked for €45 which we paid, not a big deal but miscommunication or misunderstanding which could be avoided!!

Location was unbeatable in Oia, and great cave house with spa.

The house humidity is very challenging to control during the summer - there isn't much circulation in the house given the limited windows. There is a dehumidifier, which helps a bit, but the house can still get a bit wet from the AC on (and you're going to want that AC on during the peak summer times). Try not to cook anything in the kitchen, because it can get hot in there too.

The place was absolutely stunning - when I think of Santorini, the Morfi Cave house completely embodies the beauty of the island. It was very clean and well located in central Oia, close to all the great shops and restaurants. The hot tub and balcony were such a bonus for our stay and I couldn't have asked for a better host - Elizabeth and her team were exceptionally great!

At 185 cm, I had to duck through doorways like I was an NBA star.

Well situated in the heart of Santorini. It is literally 10 metres away from the picture corner that all cruise tours come, except they stop before the house. The cave set up is interesting and unique. The view from the balcony was amazing. Our property manager Elizabeth was fantastic. She organised to pick us up from the boat and drop us off at the airport making the trip very simple. She knows the best restaurants to try and helped organise other excursions. It was like having a private travel planner

Only one bathroom, ac unit makes little noise and there were 2 bright lights coming from the router and entrance door that makes it harder to sleep if you need a quiet or dark room to sleep.

Fantastic location Amazing host Elizabeth who picked us up from ferry and transferred upon departure to airport (this is a must). Extremely helpful in suggestions of highlights of Santorini. This made the stay most memorable.

Not a negative of the actual cavehouse but being the great location up the steps does get VERY crowded with tourists when the cruise ships come in.

The location is great and Elizabeth the property manager was awesome! She worked with us to get transfers from the airport and to the port. The views are amazing from the top.

Kitchen is tiny but the fridge kept our wine, chocolate and yogurt nicely chilled.

Perfect location in Oia for getting to nearby restaurants, sites, transport and seeing the stunning sunset on the Caldera. Cave house was extremely comfy and clean...laoved the bathroom and floating bed. Our host was very friendly and helpful with restaurant and tour reservations.
