Rooms could have had coffee/tea facilities. Needed to leave property to get a coffee. No big deal but would be nice to make a coffee whenever and not need to step out- especially in the middle of the day in the heat. This was definitely not a deal breaker but would be convenient.

The staff were beyond exceptional. They always made us feel welcomed.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Great location just sufficiently away from port / touristy area but sufficient close proximity to port to be able ti carry suitcases. Property is superb, very atmospheric eg with painting ceilings in room. We had big balcony looking into sea. Very tastefully decorated and very well maintained. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast in courtyard surrounded by bushes / orange tree / lemon tree was fabulous

Hotel Miranda is a magical retreat a few minutes walk up the hill from the main port of Hydra. The staff was wonderful, our rooms were lovely, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. It was so much fun to share the narrow cobbled streets of Hydra with many cats and a few people, and watch the donkeys carry goods to homes up the hillside. Hydra is a wonderful car- and bike-free island to explore for a few days by foot!

The bathrooms were a bit dark and there was no shower curtain, which meant the floors got wet.

Excellent, quiet location only about 10 mins walk from the ferry port, but not too far into the hills that you need transport. The building is a converted Captain's mansion and the rooms have been adapted to fill the space. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms; you have to enter one bedroom and go through the bedroom to a corridor (small seating area) which leads to the roof terrace and the other bedroom (1 single and 1 double bed). The beds are comfortable and air conditioning was good. The roof terrace is a real highlight and we sat looking at the stars and the harbour late into the night. Great, filling breakfast every morning.

We loved everything!

The best hotel we have ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful rooms and garden, the kindest, most accommodating staff. Incredible breakfast, wonderful mornings sitting in the dappled sun. A few easy minutes walk from the harbour where the ferries land. Cafes, restaurants, shops within a minute or two. We booked for three nights and ended up staying a week.

The bed was small, however I completely understand that, as it goes with the room size. I believe that the rooms furniture needs to be renewed, yet, I also understand that, as it reflects the mood and atmosphere of the island.

Staff was very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful! They were very kind, with always a nice greeting and smile on their face :) we will surely get back and book in the same hotel for our next stay.

Not so much that I did not like it, but my only comment might be that the shower stalls are very small. Otherwise nice.

Breakfast and location are unbeatable. And so it is the stuff, super helpful and welcoming! Nice old-styled room with a very comfortable bed.
