Beautiful place, peaceful and very pretty. Excellent sunsets. Beach 1 min walk away. Great pool and bar area. Well thought out apartment, well equipped. Exceptional hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Provide a very reasonably priced taxi service - would definitely recommend using their taxi on arrival rather than local taxis at Airport which are much more expensive. Hosts provide a contact number for WhatsApp and are readily available and quick to respond for their taxi service. Hosts are very accommodating and just want to help make your stay relaxing and hassle free. Highly recommended staying here.

The room, staff, pool and breakfast was 💯. This place was wonderful. We enjoyed the huge delicious breakfast and the pool was just fantastic. Our car ran out of gas and the staff went and got us some gas. They were so nice and definitely our life savers. They were so accommodating holding our luggage until our evening flight. We will stay there again for sure. Thanks so much..

None that I can think of. Everything was up to my standards and needs.

The staff. Violet was so accommodating and really helped me. I arrived early in Santorini and they didn’t have availability but she accommodated me and had me check in super early. Giannis the hotel chauffeur was also great! They really helped my stay as comfortable as possible. Great and clean facilities which I really love! It felt like you’re family.

Great stay at Mare Nostrum in July 2024. The room was really clean and comfortable and in a fabulous location for visiting Oia. The food at the bar area at lunch time was really lovely and great value for money. Yannis and his partner and their dogs Max and Juicy were all really lovely hosts and went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely stay - nothing was too much trouble from the airport and port transfers to the boat trip booking, everything was perfect. Would 100% stay here again. Thank you for the memories.

The owners and the entire staff of the property are very kind and friendly. It's a very pleasant hotel in a peaceful setting with beautiful views, not only of the garden but also of the sea, featuring a nice pool. The beach is very close to the hotel. Additionally, it's an ideal starting point for excursions. I recommend taking the Thirasia and hot springs tour, which can be purchased at the hotel — pickup and return to the hotel were seamless. I also suggest using the hotel's taxi service; the driver is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very transparent about the prices of additional services, which is a significant advantage. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

It wasn’t safe to walk to or from Oia as roads very busy and not a pavement all the way. However for 10 euros the hotel driver would take you.

The hotel had everything you needed. The staff were all so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

location near the sea, but the beach is not very good (rocks and very difficult entry into the sea) is not suitable for children. there is nothing in the area, not a single store (it takes about 50 minutes to walk to the Oiа along a busy road without a sidewalk. quite stressful. It takes 4-5 minutes by bus. When staying at this hotel, you must rent your own transport.

good rooms. all amenities. kettle, stove, coffee machine, necessary utensils. everything is there. cleaning was every day. The hotel owners are very friendly and positive. Good atmosphere in the team.

Delicious breakfast with much variety 5. The bungalow has two floors and is cozy & clean 6. The owner welcomed us with a gift - a small bottle of local wine 7. On the property there is a restaurant with a great rooftop with a nice view of the sea 8. The property has a beautifully fluffy husky that lives on-site 🐕🐕🐕

We were greeted by the sunset view and beach right opposite the Mare Nostrum Santo. Violet assisted us with our transfers, cruise package, massage(treatment), and bus tour. She ensured that we will have a great family experience in Santorini. All staff were fantastic Yanni (driver) the bar guy, the breakfast lady and housekeeping lady. Even the dogs were nice too.

Very helpful communication before we arrived and a warm welcome with all the information we needed for our stay. The apartments are so tastefully decorated and comfortable, amazing location next to the black sand beach and perfect for the sunset. Easy bus into Oia, and lovely to dip in the pool on return. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

Absolutely everything! The cottage was delightful and the private hot tub was perfect. Lots of space everything you need so beautiful inside , comfortable bed and spacious bathroom . Lovely seating area outside and inside . Violet and the team are wonderful people who really can’t do enough for you . We enjoyed the sunset patio and dining on the roof of the restaurant. Breakfast and food was delicious. The pool is great and drinks are well priced . I think everywhere around the hotel has been well thought out and well maintained and very clean . Thanks so much for having us ! We’ll 100% be back . We hired a scooter for 2 days to get around which violet booked and it was sorted for very quickly and efficiently.
