The place was so cute we stayed in a bungalow it had two floors so cozy & clean the couple that own and run the place are absolutely amazing people they catered to us, they provide taxi service, car rental, and breakfast theirs a pool onsite right in front of the beach with a bar & food you have everything you need all in one spot, the location is excellent it’s on the beach not in the crowds of the nearest breath taking city landscape where local bars, stores & restaurants are. I totally recommend this place you will love it

Far from Oia and difficult to move around with the bus

We always used a taxi or bus to get to Oia. The bus stop is a few minutes' walk from the place, but it's on a rather busy road without safe pedestrian paths. Sea and secluded pebble beach (without sunbeds) nearby, but we were abit unsure if it is ok to swim there.

Excellent host and nice, comfortable bungalows with a small swimming pool. 10 min by taxi to the center of Oia.

I loved everything there.

This property is so private and quiet. I couldn’t have survived my first trip to Santorini’s without the help of Yanis and Violet who is a jewel. It is so nice to be able to call someone when your rent car runs out of gas trying to find a gas station. They go above and beyond to make your stay perfect!

Violet and her team were beyond fantastic, they helped organise our trip, providing the best times to visit during tourist areas and gave us all the information needed on the cheapest way to get around and explore. Highly recommend staying here. It was perfect for us as we wanted to be close to Oia town, but given how busy it is, we wanted more privacy and quiet, which is exactly what Mare Nostrum provided. It is less than a 5 minute drive into Oia town, otherwise a 30-minute walk and there is a bus stop right out front. The pools were fantastic, though the hotel was booked out, we still managed to have the pool to ourselves, and the beach is right out front. The buffet breakfast was fresh and yummy, and we had amazing Gyros for dinner there. We cant wait to come back, thank you for having us Violet.

The owner was a very nice woman.She gave us lovely gifts on our departure. The apartment had a lot of extras such as tooth brushes and other toiletries. Water in fridge and bottle of wine . Lovely breakfast. Very enjoyable stay.

Hosts were very nice and helpful, they greeted us so warmly and gave my son a little gift. It was nice, room was comfortable and breakfast nice and rich. We liked the pool, sadly weather was not good, only our last day. But hosts allowed us to stay as long as we wanted!

There were some issues with lights especially in the bathroom.

The staff was very nice. We were given early check-in. At the reception we were welcomed with a glass of juice. The room was very beautiful and it had a Netflix connection as well. There was a hot tub as well and it was also nice. Breakfast was also good. Location was also a 5 min drive from Oia.

Only one slight issue with electricity going off one evening for a couple of hours, but no other complaints.

Location was great, away from hussel and bussel, but only minutes away from Oia. Nice pool and private jacuzzi. Attentive and friendly staff. Lovely two level self contained apartment. With breakfast included, great value for money. Nice touch from owners with gifts and bottle of wine on arrival. Definitely recommend it.
