Our stay was ruined by the sewage collapse on the ground floor so it was very smelly and we could not sleep one night but the staff was cooperative and allowed us to stay two nights in upper studio until the sewage was fixed. Do NOT book ground floor if possible. Do NOT believe google which says it is 5 min on foot to the sea. It involves climbing hills or better use a car.

Cosy, great view, friendly stuff. They allow doggies. Upper floor studios are very cute, with nice atmosphere. The best beach ever is nearby. Breakfast service is enjoyable but same every day. Some differentiation would not hurt.

Dynamic size of the breakfast, they adapted it depending on how much have we eaten in some mornings. The Air Conditioned was not functioning on since check-in till the fifth day of our stay. We had to insist till they reseted it. The noise from the reception /kitchen during mornings starting from 7am, and the breakfast served each morning later than agreed.

The access road to the hotel is a rough dirt road with a steep uphill climb. It's rather short but it can be a bit tough to reach the acommodation. There was no handheld shower in the bathroom, only the showerhead in the wall.

The room was very spacious and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. Breakfast gets delivered to your room and you can eat while enjoying the sea view. The host is very friendly and warm, and we felt right at home.

Everything amazing! The executive room is a dream. The view… Omg! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (Elena is amazing!). The breakfast was always brought to the room and it was perfect. We loved everything and have no complaints at all.

What I didn't like was the big bed that had 2 matrices side by side, which I found kind of strange. I would have preferred a regular king or queen bed instead of 2 regular beds side by side. The way to the hotel was partially a dirt road.

I really like the view and the fact there was a small private pool at our disposal. The morning breakfast was exceptional and I've never had as good a breakfast and such a big variety. The hosts were amazing and helped us with several questions we had and pointed us to some fun stuff we could do on the island. The hotel was literally 2-3 minutes away from the beach, but as private and with a view towards the sea and the mountain at the same time.

For 4 nights, the breakfast is ok, but if you stay more days , only 3 choices for breakfast are not enough.

nice and cozy hotel, only few rooms so is pretty quiet. the host and also the guest are polite and quite. breakfast was served on the balcony and it was tasty and full of flavorful. Ammos beach recomanded by the host is only few hundred meters away and it has free sunbeds with confortable pillows, great service and food

Mare Monte Small Boutique Hotel is a lovely hotel close to Golden Beach with beautiful sea view. Photos on internet absolutely reflect the reality. The hosts are very nice and kind people always ready to help. Worth it to visit and spend a great vacation here! Thank you!

Fay, our host was exceptionally welcoming. The hotel was beautifully designed and decorated by Fay to a quality boutique style. We were treated to a different fresh breakfast every morning, which was delivered to our door and we ate on the balcony, whilst taking in the breathtaking views from the mountains down to the sea. Our room was cleaned to a high standard everyday, including fresh towels. The position is great, close to amenities like restaurants and supermarkets with a short 5 minute walk to the beach, whilst being situated in a quiet area. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here and will certainly return as soon as possible.

.the location - difficult road access -built on a cliff, so too many stairs without lift option - and it was not mentioned. Also the room was built almost in the ground, meaning air only from the door and window at the front, so no good ventilation meaning extra humidity. The room's "balcony" was by the pool -if it were working (there was a problem with it) the other guests would be literary next to us.
