Absolutely everything was perfect !

The hotel should really be considered more than 5* as it really has super comfortable rooms and crazy sea view . Really good home cooked breakfast is included and the host is a super genuine local who puts her guests above everything TRULY OFFERING A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE.

Very warm welcome and service by staff and family who run the hotel. Spacious rooms with balcony close to beach and Harbour. Surprising breakfast buffet full of home-local grown productions. Warmly recommended!

I liked everything, especially the family running the hotel. Lovely decorated rooms and superb breakfast with fresh orange juice, which is a rare find even in 5* hotels. This is the perfect place to stay at Kithira.

Everything was perfect!

Don't hesitate to stay at this family-run hotel. The warm welcome, the spotless room and public spaces, the delicious freshly prepared breakfast, the few minutes walk to the beach with crystal clear water and white sandy beach -- all just perfect. I absolutely enjoyed the peacefulness on offer. I liked that there was a small shop, an excellent taverna, and a couple of beach bars. If you're looking to relax for a few days or more, I highly recommend this hotel.

A great hotel in Diakofti, near the port. As our ferry came in late, we opted to stay in Diakofti for the night before we headed to a different part of the island the next day. Golden Resort is a short 5 min taxi ride from the port and 5-minute walk to Manolis taverna by the beach. We were very warmly greeted upon arrival and the check-in was swift. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a great patio to sit in the morning. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of cheese, hams, bread, cereal, yogurt, and local pastries and jams. Would definitely come back.

The welcome and communication with the family who run the hotel was really excellent. it’s rare nowadays to receive such personal attention. Fantastic! Our room was sparkling clean as was the whole hotel. Breakfast wonderful and all home cooked. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Diakofti beach where the swimming is absolutely superb. Turquoise waters as far as you can swim - probably the best (though not the most picturesque) beach that we had during our whole stay in the Peloponnese. The hotel is literally five minutes drive from the ferry. We would not hesitate to recommend… and to come back.

This hotel was the best I've experienced in 20 years of vacationing in Greece. The hotel owners, their daughter and Katharina are the nicest and friendliest people I have ever met in hotels. I even got dinner from the house because the tavern was overcrowded and they invited me for a grilled fish too. I have never experienced greater hospitality in greece. Breakfast is very good, there is something for every taste and with homemade sweets from the lady (Athanasia) of the hotel. I can recommend this hotel best.

nothing I had a lovely stay!

Adorable hotel in such a quiet little town / village. the owners were so friendly and happy all the time. the homemade raki was the best I’ve ever had and i don’t like raki per se. I had the suite room which was very spacious with a great view. the pool area was lovely. the lobby breakfast area felt incredibly spacious and open, a lovely way to start the day!

i think they need to change little and offer different options rather than same breakfast every day,

located on very quieter and the best clean beach of Diacofti, absolutely spot on cleanliness, the hosts are very friendly and welcoming
