There wasn’t a shower curtain in the bathroom so could get a bit wet in there, but it wasn’t a major problem.

To start with, we preordered a taxi (through welcome pickups, they are English speaking drivers) to pick us up from the port. Yes, it’s expensive, but it was quick and easy to get to the heart of Fira and most importantly, the taxi driver called the hotel to arrange for the porter to meet us at the taxi rank. Without the porter, the hotel would have been very difficult to find, with the added issue of having luggage and managing the stairs. So I highly recommend starting the journey off with ease by getting a taxi and asking them to call the hotel. Please note, any hotel overlooking the caldera will have many stairs to navigate. We booked a room with a pool. Sure, the pool is smaller than it looks in photos but it was absolutely fine for the 2 of us. Pool temperature was quite warm (we assume that was the work of the Santorini sun) so we would typically go in at night time to drink wine and watch the sunset. The pool was cleaned daily. The view from our room was incredible. The room itself was fine. There wasn’t a shower curtain in the bathroom so could get a bit wet in there, but it wasn’t a major problem. Air conditioner worked really well. I had read lots of reviews saying quite negative things, but our experience was great. The manager was very friendly and if we needed him, we could message him through WhatsApp. I messaged the manager the day before check out to ask for the porter to help with our luggage again and this was no problem.

Poor maintenance: door lock broken, boards around pool/spa fallen apart and sharp. Water from shower goes all over floor, no full screen. Advertised as a pool however it really is a small bath. Deceiving photos advertising private pool, but not private as guests walk through the area to get to other rooms, and it is a bath not a pool. Would have been great to know that you offered a porter service to collect bags from bus or taxi on arrival. We only goi d this out after arrival, and challenging to get there. Would be nice to include wine glasses and a plate and knife to use, and a kettle, finished touches/customer service.

Fantastic views with stunning sunsets over the Caldera, close to shops and restaurants.

There was no signage so you don’t know the gate and rope leading down to the steep narrow stairs belong to the hotel but that can easily be fixed. These stairs are long and even for someone fairly fit like myself, they were tough to climb up and despite knowing our departure time and arranging transportation for us, there was no one to help us carry our luggage all the way up the stairs which could be unsafe. Even if there is a charge, a baggage porter option could/should be offered to guests. Our lock was missing a screw but as soon as I texted the manager, it was fixed and anytime we saw him he had a warm smile. The bathroom needed some repair, cracks in the molding and water sprays everywhere from the shower. Not an issue for me but be aware it is in the path of the donkeys in the morning so there is poop to navigate around but that will likely be for many hotels in the area so nothing against the hotel directly.

The staff were 11/10! So friendly and so helpful for our time at the property. The location is perfect. Breakfast was simple but good! Could’ve been our mistake thinking we were told 9am but I think it wasn’t available until 9:30, but bread and jams, fresh juice and coffee/tea are offered. The view was incredible. Bed was comfortable. If I return to Santorini I would happily stay here again.

Breakfast was poor and we had to choose between an omelette, fried/ boiled eggs and yogurt with fruits (we even denied tomato not part of breakfat :/) . Cant say that i enjoyed the breakfast.. Even tho the location is in the center is situated on the road of the donkey tour which the smell is not that nice.

The location was in the center of Fira , with few minutes walk you can be on the main road with shops, the view was nice.

The property is quite worn. The water coming out of the bathroom sink was yellow. There isn’t much privacy.

The beds were very hard. And only one of our rooms had a dipping pool.

The location and the view are beyond perfect! To sit on your patio and watch the sunset while others are crowding along the sidewalks is wonderful. The staff was lovely and the chef/waiter for breakfast was such a pleasure!

It was a little hard to communicate sometimes as their english was limited There also.were coffee pods in the room but no Machine. There was one in the room next door We had a room that Included a plunge pool and got a spa pool which we were fine with however the spa was dirty on the bottom and very dirty on the filter. The water was also very low. We told them twice about this and they kept saying it was done but they had done nothing Because of this we never got to use the spa Lastly. For a fit person this room was fine but it needs to be stated that this room requires a lot of uphill and downhill walking to get to the hotel Which has a totally magic view As I have difficulty with steps and hills it was hard for me and if I realised this before booking I would have picked a hotel with easier açcess

The view The food The staff tried very hard but with limited English The location

To your room The hotel run by family .on booking .com they show the photos of dip pool when we got there no dip pool they state we did not request for it and need Extra charge 100 Euros per day . For breakfast they provided bread and tea . We wait for good 15 minutes and asked for egg and bacon or sausages the owner state no bacon or sausages only egg , later he came back and asked would you like some bacon ? I asked for orange juice he said no but they do provide orange juice. To me if your face fit they give you the whole breakfast. We would have appreciated advance warning that the hotel was reachable by foot. We walked for about 15minutes up and down steep steps with our baggage to get to the place using google as our guide. Then down two sets of steps to get to the room. After that we found a quicker, less steep route to get down to the main street which only took about 5 minutes without our bags.

The view from our balcony was amazing. We had front row seats to the best sunsets two days in a row. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The ~10mins walking path from the main road was stoned paved way with occasional stairs, making it very hard to carry large luggages. The hotel was hard to find, reception was invisible/inaccessible to the guests, and most of the time unattended (and no one picked up the hotel phone listed here). Hence, check-in experience was not smooth. Free breakfast started at 9:30am, too late IMO. We didn't have a chance to avail our free breakfast opportunity because we didn't want to wait that late before we go out exploring. Each floor had 3 rooms side-wise, sharing the same balcony (which is also the common walk way). So, privacy was an issue. Very limited support after-hours. So, for any room amenities, needed to wait until the next day. Most of the iconic pictures of Santorini are from Oia, which was far from the hotel (located Fira).

The hotel had a very nice view of Caldera. It had a nice large balcony in front, perfect to spend some quality time. The assistant manager who greeted us was extremely supportive and responsive throughout our stay (he gave us his number, so was very easy to reach). The room quality and cleanliness was acceptable. The location was nice if one prefer to stay in a lively area. The front side of the room was all glass, which gives an amazing view from inside the room.

Air conditioner poor and didn’t really cool down room. Shower splashes water into rest of bathroom floor. No porter available when leaving. This property has fair few steep stairs so not for those with knee or leg issues.

Spectacular view and lovely upgrade to have pool. Clean and tidy. Great having porter to help with bags. In the heart of it all but quiet for relaxation. Breakfast good with amazing views.

The pool was warm like being in a hot tub and was often dirty. The staff member who met us and brought our bag to the room was lovely but the owner could have been a little friendlier on reception. Don’t order anything extra with breakfast. I asked for a second glass of orange juice as the first one was half full of ice and had been watered down with sparkling water/sprite. He told me I would need to pay for the second glass I said ok assuming it would be normal. Another glass half full of ice and sprite arrived and I was charged €8 🙈.

The room was lovely and the view spectacular.
